Foot of the Mountain Motel

The Boulder Hotels Foot of the Mountain Motel hotel opened in 1934. It has the distinction of being the oldest continuously operating motel in Boulder. Guests staying at this historic structure are treated to quirky designs original to the building such as slightly off-kilter door frames and unexpected nooks. There are also views of Flagstaff Mountain.

At the Foot of the Mountain hotel, guests can choose from eighteen rooms and two suites. Most rooms offer either a queen or full-sized beds. Some rooms have both a queen a full bed, while others offer a queen plus either a twin or full sleeper sofa. The suites have hot tub access, full kitchen, and a patio.

The Foot of the Mountain hotel is pet-friendly, with room to accommodate guest’s fur-babies. A lending library for guests want to curl up with a good book. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

All rooms have an in-room fridge, air conditioning controls, and cable television with HBO. All rooms are non-smoking, and guests who smoke in their rooms will be assessed an additional cleaning fee.

The property has an outdoor fire pit and picnic area available for use by all registered guests. There are bikes for rent for those who want to go out and see the scenery. Families with children can let them burn off their energy across the street at the playground.

The hotel is located close to several eateries that guests can enjoy. Guests can travel to either Pearl Street, the Hill, or the Twenty-ninth Street Mall for their meals.
