The fully loaded Pacifica I started with was terrific, except it had a bad rear tire that kept deflating. I called roadside assistance and they very kindly directed me to an Enterprise only 5 miles away to exchange vehicles with minimal hassle.Cons:
I wish Alamo could have just replaced the tire, because the van I got in exchange from Enterprise was an ancient, dirty Grand Caravan with absolutely no modern features such as a backup camera, Bluetooth, or even USB. Not Alamo's fault but man that was a buzzkill for the rest of the week. Also, the line at the airport was just ridiculous.4.0 Mediocre

Despite having a reservation, had to wait in line at counter for over 45 minutes, as three agents were handling all rentals for Avis, Budget, and Payless, and none of the three seemed to have cars ready. After finally making it out to the garage, had to wait another 30 minutes because the car assigned to me was not ready—over an hour after my scheduled (reserved?) pick up time. Received a hybrid vehicle and did not appreciate the engine cutting off at every stop and the lack of power on the road. On return, only one guy was on duty trying to check in all the cars being returned. This operation is a joke; avoid it at all costs!Ace

Usually when the rental company states that they are off airport, there is a statement that there is no shuttle to their location if that's the case. Well, this rental company is so far away from the airport that it would have cost me $40 to get there by taxi. No shuttle. And when I called, they said they "could" return me to the airport when I brought the car back. I doubt that would have happened. So, from now on, I will only reserve cars from companies that are co-located at the airport or that explicitly state they have a shuttle. Lesson learned for me. I ended up renting from a company co-located at the airport, by the way. It cost me an extra $30 from my ACE rental but I saved the round trip taxi fare and the time. I had to provide ratings, by the way, in order to have my review published. I never went to ACE.10.0 Wonderful
