I got there and gave my confirmation number. They said we have no cars. I said I have a confirmation number. They said we have no cars, and I should have called first.

They refused to honor the booking. They insisted they would not rent the car without the CDW, even though this kind of insurance is already provided on my credit card. They pretended the cdw was obligatory by law in Panama but it's not. Liability insurance is, but it was already provided in the quote. I rented a car successfully from Express, who do not try to scam tourists with hidden fees that triple the price of the rental.
