Pros:I have stayed at this location many times on business and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Any issues are taken care of. The Cookies and Popcorn in the evening are always welcome and a very unique plus. Rooms are comfortable and spacious enough. The manager at this hotel is one of the best at Hilton properties.
Cons:Main complaints are the Internet needs logging in sometimes several times a day, though this seems to afflict other Hilton locations. The Fitness Center is small (one treadmill, one ski machine, no weights). Lots of workers stay here slamming doors, talking in hallways at all hours not paying attention that there might be other guests trying to sleep.
Pros:Great Staff! Very friendly to not only me, but also my son. He loved staying at the hotel, and helped accommodate us as we first stayed 4 days, then 2 more days and then 1 more. Helped us stay in the same room and helped us cancel one night because I booked the wrong room and let me rebook so I wouldn't have to change rooms. Check in was easy. Breakfast was good. A little variety, so it wasn't too bad. The rooms were clean. We got the one with the fridge and microwave. Would recommend if you have kids. Saved us money going out and buying one thing at a time. Staff was very friendly. Front counter helpful. I think I saw the manager there all day! She works hard and was very good at helping us out and even helping out her staff. The cleaning staff answered any questions we had and even gave recommendations. Kitchen staff was always working around the food to make sure everything was correct and filled. Other places they usually just leave the food and leave it alone until end of breakfast. Office very nice and clean. They also had a hotel laundry room (1 washer/1 dryer) that helped us out a lot. Didn't use workout room. They also had hot coffee and water in the lobby, which was great. They also had FREE COOKIES AND POPCORN everyday at 5 PM!!! That was my son's favorite thing.
Cons:Main complaint would be the internet. For some reason I had to log into the internet about 3 or 4 times a day, which was a drag, but it was not that big an issue. The pillows are VERY soft, so if that's not your thing, then might want to bring your own pillow. Was a little pricey, but this is probably one of the nicest hotels you'll find in Edenton. As you can see, very MINOR complaints. Great hotel!
Pros:The evening receptionist. Her name was Patricia. She was so helpful in helping us get accommodated Fri evening 8 Aug. She was funny and had great cookies! Made our stay very comfortable. She was concerned and conveniently solved our problems.
