Appenzell Inn

Appenzell Inn is located just around the corner from Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado. The Swiss-inspired inn is less than a mile away from both Fall River and Stanley Hotel which is well-known from its appearance in the movie, “The Shining.”

The 36 down-to-earth-chic rooms feature hip decor and cozy furnishings. Guests can choose from triple rooms, deluxe king rooms, king studios, two-bedroom chalets, two-bedroom apartments with a balcony, standard king room, double room, studio with spa bath, and king studio with a sofa bed. Wheelchair accessible rooms are available. All rooms are kid-friendly. Pets are not permitted inside of the hotel.

Rooms and suites all feature high-speed wireless Internet, flat-screen televisions, microwaves, coffee and tea making facilities, minifridges, plush bedding, spacious bathrooms, complimentary toiletries, air-conditioning, a hair-dryer, iron, and daily housekeeping services. Larger suites add a kitchenette, spa bath, fireplace, patios, deck areas, and mountain views.

Free parking is available onsite. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel grounds. Guests can unwind in the spacious indoor pool and hot tub. There are two ponds and extensive gardens throughout the property.

A complimentary breakfast is served each morning in the dining area. There is a seasonal restaurant and pub which serves creative and healthy dishes for lunch and dinner, as well as a drinks menu. Guests may also dine at the many nearby highly-rated restaurants, such as Mountain Home Cafe, Antonio’s Real New York Pizza, Vino Giu, and Notchtop Bakery & Cafe.
