Loved the short/no line. Wish there had been smaller and more fuel efficient vehicles available, but was glad to have something to drive! Staff should act like it's the first time, every time when someone rents a car as they seemed to assume I was familiar with the process when I was not. I made my questions known and got answers. Was also a little nervous about the oil change light being on in the car when I picked it up. Didn't have any car troubles on my trip though so it was ok. Pros:Very!! Our flight didn’t land until 6:20 and I didn’t get to the counter until 6:30, but they waited for me! They called on our layover to verify we were still coming - and they usually close at 6:00 I think.Reviewed 1 Mar. 2021

Cons:we were shocked by an extra charge for my wife who never drove the car that almost $150 more than price we were quoted. Your site tries to sell the insurance but never gives the impression that there will be large hidden charges. The car was not carefully washed especially the rear bumper which left dirt on our clothes after we loaded suitcases We will not use Kayak againReviewed 5 May 2017

Cons:Didn't expect Hertz to still have a car with over 36k miles. Thing was hard to drive. Counter pick up was kind of slow going. Next time I'll pay full price and use my Gold membership to see if it's faster.Reviewed 4 Apr. 2017

Poor customer servicePros:Car was good.Cons:They first gave me a car that wouldn't start. Had to go back down to the counter to get another one. Then there was no one there when I pulled into the return area. I looked around for instructions, and there was a sign reading "leave keys in car and put contract in box".
