The Travelodge by Wyndham Las Vegas is located right off of Interstate 15 motorway and only three miles from T-Mobile Arena. The University of Nevada Las Vegas is four miles away, while SLS Station, the Monorail Westgate Station, and Adventuredome at Circus Center are all less than a mile from the hotel. This budget hotel is less than five miles from McCarran International Airport and 21 miles from Boulder City Airport. This hotel right off the Las Vegas Strip offers 100 smoking and non-smoking guestrooms.

Each guestroom at this hotel is air-conditioned and comes with complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access. Pros:Proximity to my destination. Proximity to convenience stores.
Cons:Stunk like weed frequently, it would seemingly pass through the walls. I know it’s legal in Nevada, but being allergic to weed really puts a damper on enjoying the stay in the hotel when none of the doors or windows are airtight. A lot of strange people. Advertised pictures were nothing like the actual room. WiFi would frequently reset. Rude locals.

Cons:Squeaky floor above our room was annoying as we could hear our neighbor walking around.

Pros:Bathroom was recently updated with new tile.
Cons:The room was very hot, as the staff turn off the AC to save the motel money. With July temperatures near 110 degrees, the room was very hot and took several hours to get to a comfortable level. Upon entering the room we encountered a large flying cockroach. It was too fast for me to kill, so we asked to move to a different room. The staff did help and moved us to a new room. The room was much better maintained that the first - less wear & tear on the carpet, etc. Still had to was several hours for cooling to make the room comfortable. You learn a lot about how poor rooms are cleaned/maintained when you have to look under beds and move furnishings to try to hunt down that speedy cockroach. Vegas is a very dirty place. The rooms in this motel are very dark, very dirty, very uncomfortable. Last comment - the continental breakfast included only bagels, oatmeal, and coffee or tea. There was no cream cheese for the bagels, and no milk or juice drink options - no fruit. It's a bargain motel, and you get less that you pay for at this place. The staff were competent, helpful, and accommodating.

Cons:The receptionist was allowing a poor homeless fellow to eat breakfast in the lobby. He made a huge mess of all the bagels and peed on the floor upon exit. Key cards also stopped working every day for both of us, despite keeping them away from cell phones or other radiation.

Cons:The room was smaller than what the picture looked like, the shower was gross, wifi was nonexistent, there were only 4 channels and the others were fuzzy, the outlet in bathroom didn't work and there wasn't a fridge.
