The hotel room wasn’t clean, we found beer cans on the floor & stains on the beds. The air vents were rusty & the whole place smelled of mold. We did not stay, we left & booked a room down the road. Staff was rude when we alerted them of the issue.

Pros:Great place! Free breakfast in the morning and they had storage inside for bicycles so we didn’t have to leave them on the car. That really worked out well. Shuttle service to the ferry and right on the beach. All for really reasonable prices.
Cons:Not really anything. The rooms aren’t luxury, but they were very clean and comfortable.

Pros:The location was convenient for taking the ferry over to the island. Nice view off balcony.
Cons:This hotel was somewhere I would expect to pay $50 a night. Outdated color schemes, dark and gloomy rooms. There was a bra inside of the fold out couch which tells me no one had changed the linens in it. The breakfast in the morning was not very appealing inside a room with no windows. The pool and spa area looked like a basement- the water was gross looking. Call me crazy, but for $250 a night, I expect a very nice hotel! I would not recommend staying here.

Pros:The view from the room was the only good thing.
Cons:The staff was incredibly rude. Couldn't connect to the wifi from my room and when I brought it up with the staff, they became defensive and arrogant. They didn't bother listening to my concerns. They also weren't helpful when I asked them about ferry times to Mackinaw Island. They rudely told me that they didn't know and that I should look it up myself. The breakfast was awful, not much to offer and had stale low-quality food. They also didn't have enough food for the guests. The rooms could have been cleaner. Found stains on the sheets and towels. Not all of the lights worked. Overall, a terrible experience and won't be staying here again.

Pros:Loved how spacious the room was! The view was beautiful...right on the water, with the Mighty Mac as the backdrop! Great location...plenty to do around the hotel, as well as on the Island. We will definitely come back!!
