Pros:I liked how it was located within everything. 10 minute drive to the Monterey Aquarium and to delicious food. There was the Del Monte outdoor plaza right across from the Inn as well.
Cons:I think the necessities could’ve been better, the bed kept slipping and rolling around when you had your back against the headboard. The room smelled strongly of bleach so we had to get candles to hide the smell. And one of the towels had a big hole in it.

Cons:Staff was rude and the housekeeping staff did not close blinds and leave air conditioner on when it was 100 degrees. Upstairs bedroom was about 100 degrees all night. The air conditioner was downstairs and there was not even a fan to be offered by hotel. The only thing they offered was that I could check out. Even after an email to the general manager. Spiders in sky light upstairs bathroom. This was an overpriced room for what I booked.

Pros:The room was actually nicer than I expected. Great location too. 1 exit down from the 17 mile drive, we made use of that! We will probably stay here again on our next trip

Cons:staff was horrible as i arrived the lady already seemed unfriendly, no hello or anything the only thing she said was drivers license and credit card, when she read that i was from salinas she told me normaly she would have to recline me because they don't check in any locals becouse someone had a party there and destroyed the room. doesn't mean all locals are like that. and also the shower sink was clogged.

Pros:Location was nice and near most attractions. Staff was very nice and helpful. The office staff member changed our room when I notified him of my unhappiness and upgraded us to a two level suite. Great deal on aquarium tickets. They have a 2 day pass if you purchase at the office that is the same price as the aquarium ticket booth for 1 day. Breakfast was nice as it was included. Fresh fruit, baked goods, and even waffles.
Cons:First room was terrible. Torn curtains. Torn chair. Spotted lamp shades. Very disappointed. Pictures are deceiving. There is no view to speak of other than the street or the parking lot. The outside furniture does not look like the pictures. Outside fire area was never lit. Had the worst elevator. I thought that it would break every time we were in it. Had to use the stairs out of fear.

Pros:LOVE the fireplace in my room, it's real and makes just the right amount of white noise for a great sleep. Appreciate the microwave and minifridge, and the sitting room was nice. Outdoor firepits are a nice touch. A little too far from central Monterey for my liking, but I appreciate that it's so close to Del Monte Center with Whole Foods, movie theatre, restaurants.
Cons:Weekend rate is ridiculous, but this is the true across hotels. There were a few minor things that made the place feel low-rent that could easily be fixed (generic key cards, they make you put a parking permit on your dash, tiny lobby, elevator interiors are beat-up and outdated). The no late checkouts under any circumstance policy is dumb, but I kind of suspect the receptionist was just saying that because she didn't want to deal with arranging one for me.
