I made the mistake of booking at a location that wasn’t at the airport. Cost us $35 for a taxi. Due to Covid they wouldn’t pick us up. That’s lame. Shuttles run. They would have gotten 5 stars otherwise.8.4 Very good

Car was great, very automated check in process, appreciated the drop off on the way back to the airport.Cons:
Noticed after reviewing the bill that we were charged an extra $18/hour when we returned the car 2 minutes past 2 o'clock. Nothing was said about the charge during the closing process (just slipped in). Not very transparent.10.0 Wonderful

Staff were the nicest ever in a car rental location. We had free shuttle pick up downtown and drop off at airport. Car was a bit a late in being available but they bent over backwards to fix this including offering a bigger car for no extra charge and not charging us for an extra day on top our weekly rate. We opted for a smaller car that was returned while we were there and the staff member put a priority on getting it ready - she said she'd clean it herself if needed. No hard sell on anything, no hidden issues like not driving on gravel in Nfld (Budget/Avis - impossible in Nfld). Even showed us how they assess damage - we've never had anyone doing that before.Cons:
Car was about an hour late but staff went out of their way to rectify the problem. Lack of rental cars in St John's during the busiest tourist season is common for all rental agencies.10.0 Wonderful

Staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, customer-focused ... even made sure we got a ride home after we dropped it off.Cons:
The computer program seemed to have a mind of it's own - but the staff person knew just how to make it cooperate - but it did make it more time consuming than it should have been.8.0 Very good

We waited about 25 minutes in line at the Thrifty desk in the terminal, only to be told we had to catch a shuttle to an off-site location to check in. The listing should clarify whether the rental agency is the terminal desk or off-site.7.6 Good
