Pros:Free Illy coffee in the morning was a nice touch. Location of the hotel in relation to attractions was great. Easy access to the trolley.
Cons:The rooms weren't very sound proof. We could hear the conversation of the people next door, and any time the train horn or boat horn went off we could hear it very loudly (even on the 21st floor). The hotel restaurant was being renovated.

Pros:Loud hallways with zero insulation. In the morning I counted the doors slamming from maids....are you ready...143 times in a three hour period lying in bed. Do the two know how to leave a door ajar. It is hard as the doors open in a awful direction. But I literally heard every single noise from 8-11am. I felt it I farted, you would hear it 14 rooms away, major design flaw. Insultstr the hallways and tell the housekeeping staff to stop letting the doors slam every time they enter a room.
Cons:No insulation.

Pros:This was a great hotel and a great value! I enjoyed my stay in the staff did a nice job cleaning the room each morning. The room was very well-equipped and the hotel had a nice lobby, great bar, pool and fitness center. My room even had windows on two sides giving me great views and a feeling of openness. Only low ceiling heights, a tight. Anthropomorphic and carpet as opposed to wood floors keep this hotel from being one of the very best. It has a great boutique feel and killer location near downtown and the French quarter.

Pros:Nice interiors and free bottled water. They have good beds though, that was a plus.
Cons:Very poor facilities, in this day and age, no free wifi is just not OK, its a dealbreaker. Its not like they are not charging enough for the room, plus wifi does not cost a lot anyways! And whats with the $45 valet per night? Do they wash your car and paint it?? We thought it was fleecing as they knew that parking is an issue around that neighborhood. Overall just OK place, not worth the effort to stay here.

Pros:This trip was my first time to the south, and the staff at Le Meridien were very polite and professional. Everywhere from the bell hop during the day, to the bartender at night, to the front desk reception. The in-room service was excellent, the food and wine hit the spot. The location was a bit farther from the convention center then I anticipated but it was nice to have a little stroll to and from the conference to the hotel. I really like the decor at Le Meridien. The pool and gym were fantastic!
Cons:I did not like how expensive the in-room service fee is. I was charged $4 fee plus another $10 fee, both labeled as in-room service fee's to order dinner up to my room.
