Pros:Standard high quality four seasons service. nearly every employee asks how you are doing, is everything meeting your expectations, is there anything they can do to improve your stay, etc etc. One small mistake was made by a wait staff person (they forgot chicken on a salad) - it wasn't a big deal to us, but he acknowledged it, apologized profusely, had his manager come apologize, and they comped our meal which was very nice. very comfortable bed.
Cons:- shower leaked onto the floor, sink faucet handle leaked water - aesthetic was rather drab at the hotel - didn't feel like 'palm beach' - no color, no pattern, no quirkiness or preppy style...faded olive umbrellas, exterior of building facing the beach looked run-down, pool was function-only (not much to look at) - location is good if you want beach-access but pretty far from the hedges and billionaires row that is quintessential PB - lots of kids in the pool. We were there in early January when school is out so this probably skewed the ratio but the first day we walked out to the pool it had lots of kids in it. We were hoping for something a bit more relaxing/serene as we were taking a vacation away from our own kids for a few days of R&R. - gym was in the basement...wish it had been with a nice view overall it could be great, but just needs a facelift in terms of design

Pros:From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave they make you feel like royalty without any stuffiness. They go above and beyond even bringing our dog treats and realizing that my wife was pregnant brought us a cupcake with blue and pink frosting along with a bottle of non-alcoholic cider to our room. Herna at the front desk was a delight.

Pros:Very quite and relaxing place. Great ocean frond location with residential area(mid rise) residential surroundings. Attentive service in understated aesthetically pleasing surroundings. Beachfront bar/coffee shop a great place for lunch but very limited menu. Restaurant more than adequate but not outstanding.
Cons:Hardly anything. You need a car to get around but you must use valet parking,at inflated rates,though the parking is on the sides of the hotel close and easily accessible.

Pros:The hotel was great. We booked it through KAYAK at a great rate for a room with a limited ocean view. When we arrived we were upgraded to a larger room with full oceanfront views at the same rate. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Pros:The hotel property is right on the beach, and the beach staff is friendly and accommodating, periodically bringing guests complimentary smoothies and frozen grapes and oranges. The pool area is lovely and well-kept, as are the dining rooms. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious. The breakfast buffet, though expensive, is delicious, ample and very fresh.
Cons:For a hotel of this caliber there was some unevenness in the staff. On certain days at the beach, the staff was available and responsive; on others they were entirely absent, and it was difficult to get anyone's attention. The outside dining areas, though lovely, were crowded, and every morning we had to wait 10-15 mins to be seated outdoors. When we first arrived, no doubt because we booked a "bargain" room through Kayak ($500/night as opposed to the $1,000 rack rate on the Four Seasons website), we were given a room with a direct view of the beach bar kitchen, together with smells and noises from the vent. We asked that the room be changed, and it was, though again we were given one of their less desirable rooms. I suppose most unfortunate was that when we asked, on our last day, for a late checkout - even offering to pay something for the privilege - we were told, icily, that the hotel could not accommodate us - not even for an hour - because of our "room category" (meaning, no doubt, the "cheapie" Kayak rate). The hotel was quite clearly not full, and as an experienced traveler, I know this would have been an easy accommodation for the hotel to make. Instead I left with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.
