Pros:Location only
Cons:Stairway to 2nd floor reeked of urine, room was barely adequate-window curtain was dirty and looked moldy, door was misaligned which made it difficult to close, bathroom tub looked dirty or dingy, water was slow to go down, the wall next to tub had really bad water damage where there was mold and it was peeling off. Had to wait until almost 5(4:50) for a 3:00 check in. It was definitely NOT worth the cost I paid. My friend had a room with a leaking toilet and management’s solution to her was to say to put another bath rug down-I was in her room and heard him say it! Another friend was put into a smoker’s room and when she asked to be moved, there were no rooms available, so she had to move to another hotel. Frankly it was the among the worst places I’ve ever stayed and I most likely will never choose another Ramada/Wyndham if this is an example of how they run a business.
Pros:My room was clean and the facilities were adequate. I had read negative reviews and expected the worst. I'm not the most picky traveler, but I didn't find anything major to complain about. It was clean, staff was helpful and I enjoyed my stay. Overall, I'd say there were no significant negatives during my stay. (I mention a couple in the "cons" section, but only to give detail in hopes the management is reading and would fix the small issues I experienced!)
Cons:Just a couple of comments on things that weren't perfect on this trip.... 1. There was a vending machine next to my door and it was a bit loud with guys stopping in to get stuff until around 10 pm. After that it settled down, so wasn't the issue I had anticipate it might become. 2. The waffle machine was broken at breakfast and the other offerings were pretty slim. The staff member looking after the breakfast area was on the phone the whole time I had breakfast and inattentive to the overall cleanliness of the area. The floor was sticky...perhaps a juice spill and it would have been cleaned up by a staff member with more pride in their work.
Pros:The location and amenities such as a microwave and mini-fridge in the room were nice and appreciated.
Cons:Unfortunately, the King Suite did not live up to expectations. We stayed at another Ramada location that had the whirlpool/Jacuzzi tub so we thought we knew what to expect. However, this locations tub was smaller and only one jet worked. Additionally, it had some exterior cracks. Also disappointing was the bathroom/toilet area. The toilet was cracked and leaked on the floor whenever it was flushed. The room also smelled a few times of marijuana, most likely due to the neighbors (who had adjoining interior doors connected to the room). Although there is a nice restaurant directly connected to the hotel that I was excited about, it is not enough to bring me back to this location. My husband and I were thoroughly disappointed.
Pros:The guys at front desk was very nice
Cons:It was not clean at all. Bed shirts had stains on them. The bathtub was nasty looking. Smelled like cigarettes.
