It started with the room key not being correctly keyed. You need your room key to get into the parking area for which there is a daily charge I didn't notice on the website but I digress. Once we got into the hotel room there was a mysterious stain at the front door when you open it. My room was 719 in case anyone can do anything about it. Then on the bathroom floor there were hairs already there-I have long hair do I am familiar with my own daily shed but this was there when I first walked into the bathroom. The toilet seat was being held on by one screw-my husband discovered that one! Also the shower took a really long time to heat up so you either wait outside the shower or dive in and pretend you are in a cold water plunge pool-yes, I had the water cranked all the way to HOT but it was still lukewarm 5 minutes in. I also found the location to be a blessing and a curse. It is right in between two stadiums so whatever game you were going to it's perfect but the hotel room didn't seem to be soundproofed so excessive road noise or engine noise can plague you from the highway above.

Pros:The room was a lot nicer than expected with an awesome view of PNC Park. But the one thing to stood out even above my feelings about my room was Angel at the front desk. I’ve been in the hospitality industry my for over 30 years and she hasn’t forgotten that customer service is what makes a person’s stay superb. Thanks Angels.

Pros:This hotel has so much to offer. The rooms are great. The breakfast is solid. The location is unbeatable.
Cons:The staff is not helpful at all. I would even argue they go out of their way to keep from helping. Need transportation? Just contact uber. Want to use the shuttle? Sorry that is 3.1 miles away but if you want to go to the casino here is a $20 voucher. Need your bill printed out? Well we are really trying not to use paper.

Pros:We recently stayed at the Hyatt Place North Shore on a family vacation to Pittsburgh. It was located in a convenient location for walking to many of the museums and local attractions. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was included with the stay. We'd definitley stay there again if we were in town.

Pros:Location was absolutely perfect. Close to PNC and Heinz stadiums, bars, restaurants, the river walk. It was great. Breakfast was complimentary buffet. It was good not great. They ran out a things later in the morning but tried to quickly restock. Parking onsite was pricey but convenient.
Cons:Bathroom was a little dirty - previous patrons hair on the inside of tub Beds were terrible.Both beds in our room were so soft that we almost rolled into each other and the plastic covering on the mattress was very loud any time anyone on the bed moved. That meant that all night long when someone turned over it woke others up. Unfortunately due to the sound and extreme softness we did not experience good nights' sleep. Double charged for my room and manager was not responsive. He left at the end of the shift without returning my call to rectify the situation. Still working on resolution.

Pros:It was great to be able to walk where ever we wanted on the north shore and even walking downtown too! We loved the size of the room and what came with it as well. I enjoyed being on the higher floor as well.
Cons:Our room was right beside the highway, we heard cars all night long, we were on the corner right next to road. We didn't like that there were no vending machines because drinks and snacks were overpriced at the front counter. $5 dollars for 2 bottles of water.

Pros:Only 100 yards to PNC Park! Great room with first class breakfast! Very accommodating staff. Great shuttle service.
Cons:$22 per night to park was a downer but the hotel shuttle will take you anywhere in Pittsburgh so you don't have to drive! Location right next to elevated interstate bridge. With HVAC off, it sounded like cars were coming through the room! But with a/c running, could not hear traffic. Will definitely return.
