Pros:The location was great. Less than 10min walking distance to the beach and downtown area. Everything was clean: sheets, bathroom, floor etc. The room was way better than I expected. It was a little small, but it was just my boyfriend and I so it was perfect. I definitely would come back
Cons:Check in is at 3. We got there 3:30 and the room still wasn't ready so the woman told us about 30min, so we just walked to get some beer. Come back 30min later, I asked if the room was ready and she said 10 more minutes. We're a patient couple so it was whatever, but I can see where that could be aggravating.

Pros:This hotel is by no means a luxury hotel...however, I have stayed in room 119 twice and I love it. The bathroom is small but updated, same with the room. The linens were nice (though the beds could use a heavier blanket added). The complimentary bathroom supplies were of good quality and a nice touch. The location is great and it's decently quiet (though you can hear the footsteps of the person above you).
Cons:I had called the hotel at 11am the day of my reservation; I requested room #119 and asked what was the earliest check-in time for that room. I was told that it should be ready by 12pm since it was empty, but it may take until 1:30pm at the latest. I told the girl on the phone that I would be arriving at around 1:30pm. I arrived to check-in at 2pm, my room was NOT ready and when I asked when it would be ready the rude and sloppy looking front desk girl turned around and spoke with some women that were sitting down in the breakfast dinning area. She then turned around and told me it would be ready at a little after 3pm; the ladies that had been sitting down got up and headed to clean my room... As I explained to her that I had called at 11am and was told it would be ready earlier, I had made an appointment around the time frame she had given me over the phone. She offered no apologies and gave me attitude when I request to go ahead and check-in so when I came back from my appointment that I could just go straight to the room. This is the 2nd time that I have stayed in this hotel...check-out time is at 12pm...and even if you ask the front desk for a wake-up call at 11:30am house-keeping will come and wake you up at 10am by knocking on your door. OR they won't even knock, but instead just open the door and walk in when you are in bed!!!!!! This happened to me this last time, she apologized but still to be woken up hours before you need to, and having some stranger barge into the room were you are sleeping make is mortifying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF?! It is clear customer service training doesn't happen at this hotel...and unfortunately do to the rude front desk and the house-keeping barging in whenever they feel like it, I don't think I'll be back....which sucks, because I have to rent a room in SC about once a week and I like the cleanliness, location, price, and overall look of the room.
