The St George’s Hotels Radisson Grenada Beach Resort is found on Spice Island and offers a Caribbean experience with 1,200 feet of beachfront access at Grand Anse Bay Beach. It is about a 10-minute drive from Magazine Beach and Parc a Boeuf Beach. This air-conditioned hotel has 229 nonsmoking rooms and suites and is located only 13 miles from Point Saline International Airport.

The guestrooms at the hotel come with beds featuring pillowtop mattresses, plush duvets, and LCD televisions with cable channels. An iTouch radio is provided along with a coffee maker, digital safe, and complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access. Private bathrooms are in every room with a shower or a shower and bathtub and tiled floors. A private patio or balcony is also provided in all rooms. Business class rooms also come with complimentary breakfast every morning and a drink voucher each evening.

This hotel has nine meeting rooms, a 24/7 fitness center, and a free-form 300-foot pool with waterfalls. There is plenty of recreation on-site with sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing, tennis, and kayaking available at the hotel. Business travelers can also make use of a 24-hour business center.

There are two restaurants and two bars at the Radisson Grenada Beach Resort. Bamboo Lounge serves coffee drinks and light snacks with live music. Tradewinds Restaurant offers both a la carte selections and a buffet-style meal overlooking the beach. The Oasis Pool Grill is located in the middle of the pool with meals like pizza and fresh seafood. The Sunset Beach Bar offers cocktails and a full bar.

Pros:Great location on Grand Anse Beach, with a supermarket across the street. Staff generally were extremely pleasant and helpful.
Cons:Very limited meal options, subpar food. Open sewer running through middle of the property. Lack of hot water my first morning. Old style motel. Two-story walk up. Open hallways. Many rooms under renovation. Renovated rooms are Spartan but clean and functional. Don't know why rooms had a day bed in them, a total waste of space. Nighttime security seemed iffy. Extremely limited TV stations, 27 cnannels total. CNN Intl or BBC for news.

Pros:The Radisson has one of the best locations on Grand Anse beach. We stayed here while visiting our daughter who is a student at St. George's Med School. The hotel is only 10 minutes from campus and close to the airport, shopping and lots of restaurants. Our room, 311, was on the first floor, facing the pool. It was very convenient to walk out our sliding glass door and into the pool area. The beach is only a few steps away. The room had a mini fridge, coffee maker and teapot. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was clean and modern. Since we came in the "wet season", we were able to get a room for under $200/night. Similar hotels, like the Cobaya, where much more expensive.
Cons:The pool bar was under construction (the last piece of a complete refurbishment of the facility). Can't wait to visit again when it is complete.

Pros:We stayed here while visiting our daughter who is studying medicine in Grenada. The reviews i read were pretty accurate. The location is excellent we stayed in room 207 with oceanfront views on the second floor. The Resort has been recently renovated and my daughter who has been in Grenada for a year was of the opinion that this place was "run down" but when visiting us was pleasantly surprised at the caliber of the rooms and service!
Cons:Staff was generally good The manager Richard was excellent and took care of any problems with service. We did not have the all inclusive option and did not eat breakfast at the pricey buffet ($58 pp). We had dinner at the bar area once and the service was horrendous but to compensate the service was excellent at the same location. There was a server by the name Garland who was not very professional and bordering on callous. But Richard (the manager) took care of it. All the other staff was absolutely top notch!! Grenadians are generally very friendly and have the most beautiful and genuine smile!
