Pros:The rooms, although small, fulfilled out needs. The staff were friendly, spoke a useable amount of English, and kept our rooms very tidy. The location is amazing! It is a 2 minute walk to a 7 Eleven which is a great place to get a cheap breakfast, tasty coffee, and withdraw cash. It is a 4 minute walk to Keikyu Kamata train line. This line is roughly a 10 minute trip to Haneda Airport, and 30 minutes to Shinagawa station on the Yamanote line. This makes getting to various wards in Tokyo take anywhere from 40 minutes to 1hr. This isn't bad at all, especially if you take the trains during off peak hours. A cab from Shinjuku Golden Gai to Keikyu Kamata train station at 3AM is about $80, which isn't bad if you are used to big city prices like NYC, SF, Boston. If you are looking for late night partying, you should stay in a hotel closer to central Tokyo. However, if clubbing isn't your thing and you want to travel by subway, this hotel is perfect. My girlfriend and I mostly went on day trips to various Tokyo wards from 10am - 11PM. 13 hours is plenty of time to spend out an about. We had a great time at this hotel and world recommend to anyone.
