If not for the concierge this hotel would've had a lower rating. The first night we had no heat in our room and it was 40 degrees outside. The floors were bumpy. We had to move rooms (with 3 kids 8 and under this was pretty disappointing). Upon moving to the new room we found the curtains to be broken and couldn't be closed all the way. There were several employees who were not very interested in doing their job well as evidenced by their general inattentiveness. Location was good though
Cons:The shower curtain was too short to stay in the tub while showering. There was a smear of something on the nightstand when I checked in. There was a low rumble that vibrated my bed slightly. The Bistro did not have Tequila but they made me wait 5 minutes for the bartender to return to tell me that when I told them I wanted a Margarita. They had no cow's milk at breakfast, only almond milk. I left a list with my name and phone number at checkout about these problems, and they did not call me. I am a Titanium Elite member.
Pros:It was Christmas and they did not have enough people to do housekeeping. Our room was not cleaned Christmas Eve and supplies like toilet paper and. Ups were not replenished. Not enough towels. I understND THT WORKERS HAVE TO celebrate Christmas. its management’s responsibility to ensure that clients are satisfied.
Pros:Very nice Hotel. Comfortable accommodations for the one night celebrating New Year's Eve. Everything would've been perfect but the staff clearly isn't trained enough to handle transactions. Upon arrival/check-in, I was asked for my credit card again which has been charged twice now for one room with a one night stay. Extremely inconvenienced!
Cons:Last Thursday 12/31/15, I purchased the room from hotels.com with a reservation Number. The employee, whom I had called an hour earlier and spoke with on the phone, was unaccomodating and her only answer was "a new credit card is needed for incidentals". She could not give me an answer as to why a new card was needed she just repeated herself. Ultimately, I have been double charged!
Pros:Hotel Clean, bed comfortable, and location were all a plus.
Cons:We didn't get the room that we reserved. We reserved a King and got a queen. Shower head would not stay put. We had to hold it in our hand most of the time while using it. We also were in a room that had an adjoining room; not a good idea. We could literally hear their entire conversation. Wall must be paper thin.
