They lost my luggage. Tromso in winter without warm clothes is not fun.

Flight was delayed 3 hours. Pilot cancelled flight under 4 people volunteered to change their seats to economy from business class.

I couldn’t make it to the airport for my original flight due to bad weather; roads were shut down, buses and trains were closed. Since the plane wasn’t cancelled, I still had to pay $720 to change my ticket.

Last minute cancelation, though a substitute flight was found I could not pick my meal or seat. The hotel offered didn't have working air control or shower.

My seat was not the one I paid for, the crew was very curt, and the cabin was extremely warm.

Old plane with terrible business class seats - good food and service. Boarding was a joke with business class boarding last.

Flight was delayed slightly but was very smooth. It was a short flight but comfortable.

Little space and no pad provide for lie flat seats in business, Movies were limited and grouping very strange.

It’s a 3 hour flight they should offer beverages and snacks

The crew was great. Flight was over 2 hours late Economy seating is way too tight

It's a budget airline, so forewarned is forearmed. Yes, you pay for everything like carry-on, checked baggage, seat selection, but that's becoming the case with major airlines. Bringing your own snacks and entertainment on board is highly recommended. It's no frills, but the crew, the plane and the flight itself was great. If you want pampering go for a larger airline. If you just want to get from A to B in comfort and safety, Play is a great choice.

It is a low cost airline. Staff are courteous. There is no entertainment. Food is purchased.

Upon boarding, the people at the gate were extremely rude, there were no outlets on a 6 hour international flight, there was no entertainment, all food and drink was purchase only (even snacks), and my seat reclining function was fully broken. The only redeeming quality was the flight attendants were extremely nice. This was by far the worst flight I have ever been on in my entire life

I don’t know how international flights can’t have media screens to keep people entertained for the long flight. Ugh.

Typical experience for budget airline. Boarding from KEF required bus transit from the gate to plane, so if you had "priority boarding" it was useless as it was simply a free-for-all when getting off the bus. But still no issues with getting our luggage into overhead bin so not really a problem.

Was very apprehensive about flying Play, but the flight was fine. Nothing special, nothing horrible. Fair price to get from New York to Iceland.

I wasn’t able to check in online the day before or the day of because their web configuration or business model idk. I arrived an hour early and check was closed and there was no one around to speak to and eventually was told there was no possible way to get a digital ticket despite I had no luggage to check and would have easily made it through security to boarding and had to pay for a new ticket for $330 ontop of the $169 I spend for the ticket and then I missed my rental car for $305 because I only arrived at midnight instead of noon that I was originally intended. All booked through kayak. I hope there is some kind of insurance from kayak because this was totally preventable had I not been blocked by play air from getting my check in and plane ticket.

The staff was very professional, the places very clean. The legroom was a little bit tight but so worth the price of the flight. Very pleased! Next time, I want to book a stayover to explore Iceland :)

The boarding process was easy, the crew was friendly and the flight was very smooth. There is a limited menu the food was tasty, but you have to purchase everything. The cost of the flight was very reasonable but everything such as baggage is extra.

Play is a great budget airline. There are no TVs or chargers in the seat but there was more legroom than expected. Boarding and all staff that I interacted with were great. You have to pay for any and all drinks or snacks you might want on flight.

One small complaint: people in economy frequently were coming through the curtain to use the saga lavatory.

On time and crew were good. Our seating arrangements in biz class were messed up, separated us as a couple and bulkhead seating not good for long legs.

Cons: "It wasn't at all clear that checked baggage was not included. This added a surprise extra hundreds of dollars to our trip. But the flight itself was fine, seats were too close when reclined, but everything was on time and efficient."
Pros: "The crew was very nice and helpful."
Cons: "I wish that a snack or small meal were included with the flight."
Cons: "My regular sized carry on was supposedly too large and had to be checked. I was not prepared for this as it has never happened on another flight"
Cons: "After paying for 2 seats next to each other, Iceland Air decided to change the aircraft and reboked us on regular seats. I am 6ft6 with bad back therefore booked the extra legroom seats and want to have my wife next to me to assist me with putting the carry-on lugage up in the spaces above. We ended up sitting 3 seats apart, I was in the extra legroom seat but in a middle seat,so I could not put my feet in the isle to prevent leg cramps. When we boarded the flight from Reykjavik to Boston I notified the stewardess and she assured she would help, but I never saw her again and no one came to our help. Also when we entered the REK airport after flying from Amsterdam we were not notified to keep our passport on us, as we needed to go tru another checkpoint. My wife had our pasports and went to check some shops, while I was reading a newspaper. After noticing that I could not go to the boarding area for our next flight, I was able to locate my wife and we barely made it to the gate in time."
Pros: "Getting off the plane but even that wasn’t fast enough"
Cons: "Extra legroom seats are no different than normal seats. No meals served - everything is cash only except drinks. Flight attendants were rude. Bathroom was leaking - the sink and toilet weren’t working and when I told the attendant she walked in flushed the toilet and walked out w/out addressing issu"
Cons: "My flight was delayed, I missed my connection flight and now they lost my luggage. Staff are very friendly, but they can't do much to help me. Icelandair is doing OK in handling the situation, but let's see...I am still in an uncertain situation"
Pros: "The crew was amazing and the service on board was above and beyond. Boarding fast and orderly and the seats are super"
Cons: "The boarding had no organization what so ever. No food service either."

I'm Canadian. I have the unfortunate experience of pretty not having the choice to fly with them. THEY ARE TERRIBLE.

NEVER TOOK THIS FLIGHT. LUFTHANSA CANCELED THIS FLIGHT WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. We were rerouted through Chicago on United airlines with a layover of five hours and then on American Airlines to St. Louis. The United club lounge in Chicago is good but there is no shower unlike Bangalore 080 lounge

Plane was old and the persons chair in front wasn’t easy to move up so he had it back most of the flight including during meals. The touchscreen was not working well and selections weren’t good. First time on a flight I really had a hard time finding something to watch. The crew was great and without them, it would have been a bust. Pilot got us there in record time.

Everything was fine except that the ground personnel in Toronto wasn't able to operate the jet bridge, so that everybody was stuck in the plane after landing for 40 min, so I missed my connection.

Flight cancelled then rebooked. Waited hours for help. Customer service lady at airport (who was great) gave us seat upgrade. When we got the the gate to board, gate crew was rude, they switched our seats back to economy and made us and one other couple check our luggage. Dozens of other people with bigger bags weren’t asked to, just us and a couple other foreign passengers. When we boarded the plane, there was plenty of room in overhead storage AND our upgraded seats were empty the entire flight. Awful experience and we missed an entire day in Amsterdam because of this.

They have more than 4 hours delay, and broken all my bags

The full flight boarded early, and then we sat on the tarmac for a long time waiting to get our plane de-iced. The crew was professional and pleasant, and the flight was pleasant overall, albeit slightly delayed. I did not use any of the entertainment options.

Very short flight so the limited space and lack of entertainment were no issue. Crew was friendly and the flight was very punctual. Baggage claim in Prague was lightning quick.

Simply the best way to get nonstop to Europe. if you’re lucky, there’s clear skies with views of Arctic or the aurora at night.

Not much leg room. The person in front of me had her seat reclined throughout the flight— made it very difficult to get up. Staff was excellent and worked very hard.

Fruit and cheese platter was dubious quality. The edges of the cheese pieces were dried, plastic looking. Old.

Terrible experience. Air canada is the worst and Kayak website is also not transparent.

Cancel because of maintenance issues. rebooked next day and then the replacement plane 3 hours late.

My flight was great but my inbound flight from Toronto to Sault st Marir delayed more than 2 hours and we had to change the airoplan.

This was a fraudulent transaction. Kayak was at fault for accepting a stolen credit card. Kayak needs to change their verification process.

As is pretty much the norm with Air Canada now, we left late from the gate (45 minutes late). This is my 12th flight with AC in the last 12 months and 10 of those flights were either late or cancelled. AC essentially has a monopoly in Canada so they have carte blanche to charge exorbitant rates now and give poor service, with no repercussions.

I did not like the fact that our bags went missing

Free ear adapters for movie screen and a snack with a beverage.

Airport staff super friendly. Even put us on an earlier flight because we arrived early.

A 2 hour delay because they couldn’t fit some oversized cargo in the small hold doors of an Embraer! Surely they know the sizes before attempting to load it?
