The personal at the front desk in Manaos was awesome, I have never experience anything like that before, the person who attended me deserves to have a promotion I still remember him, very educated, kind but overall he could put himself on your position
I don't think anyone actually reads these comments, so I won't spend much time on this submission. If you want to talk, you know how to reach me. The D/FW manager of Avianca (self-identified), Juan Calderon, insisted I buy an onward ticket from San Salvador even though I have diplomatic status in El Salvador and live here. It cost me $1,393 and Mr Calderon would not let me make the ticked flexible so I could get a refund. He went out of his way to be rude to me. He gave me seat 32K -- windowless window seat in the last row and did not offer to let me upgrade even though there were plenty of seats. I have flown well over a million miles in my life and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I would like a refund on the ticket I was forced to buy. Just awful!
Avianca flights to Galapagos and back and well organized and on time.
No comfort at all. You should add at least 1 meal or a bottle of water. I wanted to buy one sandwich and everything was gone.
It is better at the jfk than my home country. It was very easy and everything was on time.
There is no food. There is no in-inflight entertainment. The seats are cardboard. The airline is a living hellscape.
No complimentary snacks, food, beverages (even water) blanket and pillow on a 6 hours long flight (economy comfort). A low form of nickeling and diming. Lost a recurring pessanger over a soda. Will never fly Avianca again.

Flight departure late. Got late in Colombia making us take a different flight next day. Avianca airport crew messed up my ticket so when a I got in Brazil I didn’t have a ticket for my destination. Had to buy a new ticket out of my pocket.
Avianca: you pay for a high-end flight and you fly like a low (very low) cost!
Very bad. Boarding was a caos and pick up luggage took more than an hour. There was no entertainment on board.
La aeronave estaba averiada, 4 horas adentro con diferentes problemas técnicos pero igual querían volar.
They are a mess. It appears they hired a third party to staff their check in desk and simply did not train them. I will avoid flying with them in the future. It took 50 minutes for them to check in 3 parties on front of us. On the way back. It took just under one hour for our luggage to show up...

The plane was fine and the crew was very nice. Even though we bought our tickets eight months in advance and had seats reserved, they changed our seats. Instead of being in seats 7E and 7F, we were separated and put in two middle seats away from each other. When checking in, the attendant put us in an exit row together, but 10 rows back from where we had reserved. But you have to be younger than 60 to be in an exit row. So when everyone else boarded we were moved to last row 33, right next to bathrooms.
Fiquei de pé um tempão para embarcar. Apesar de ser grupo 1 e ter prioridade e cadeira premium.Ficamos retidoa e os outros grupos entraram antes... Vai entender este método uruguaio de embarque. A Gol precisa aprender comfazer desembarque. Está anos luz atrás em organização. Os comissários são muito atrapalhados.
Os passageiros ainda não estão habituados a respeitar o embarque por grupos, que é a melhor maneira de embarque, na minha opinião. Então faltou pulso para impor a regra de embarque e desembarque às pessoas.
A Gol melhorou muito desde a última viagem que fiz, muito bom, aeronaves bem conservadas, tripulação cordial. Gostei.

The crew was doing their best on an old plane needing updating. Chairs that creaked and wouldn’t stay in position. My tray table was unusable as was on-board entertainment due the audio needing usb earphones (that were not provided). Prior to boarding in Toronto and despite being scheduled for a wheelchair and assistance, we were dropped off by clubcar without a wheelchair which I found myself by a gate. Due to no boarding gate assigned at that time we waited and when it was, it subsequently was moved from 64 to 95. No help could be found so I pushed my husband’s chair to that furthest gate in the airport at the highest speed possible for a 73 year old. And by that I mean I ran. It was a very stressful experience.
Wifi wasn't working on one of the UA flights after boarding.
Leg room was lacking. Legs crammed into seat in front.

the plane was old. the wifi didn’t work. the entertainment was boring and dated. the charging ports were impossible to find. i was mostly ignored by flight attendants that had no problem speaking to the man beside me. i got two drinks the entire time i was on the plane.
Crew was not very helpful. They forgot to serve me coffee and had to wait for a long time.It looked as if they were not very happy with what they were doing.
The flight I was connecting with waited for me even though my 1st flight was late. I really appreciated that.
The seat is too hard and my back and bottom are having servers pain
There was no lounge for passengers waiting before boarding the aircraft at F65, so passengers are just sitting on the floor or just spread everywhere the premises before boarding.
Great crew, friendly. Found the trip long just sitting with no onboard entertainment
