With a stay at The Kinmel & Kinspa in Abergele, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Abergele Golf Club and Pensarn Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff were friendly
Cons: Room was smaller than expected, a lot of external noise very early in the morning and no view due to location of adjoining building.
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and attentive. Food in restaurant was lovely but not much choice.
Pros: Room and spa exellent
Cons: Yery clean and child
Pros: The spa was pretty and the food at the brasserie was amazing !!! The outside areas also very nice
Cons: The bedroom was very poor, unpainted ceiling dirty bathroom with cobwebs... very noisy during the night as we could hear people’s footsteps upstairs and there conversation too Bed was uncomfortable and the bedroom window overlooked the front of the hotel (car park) not a big issue until you couple it with a footpath for people to walk past and also no nets or blinds to obscure anyone from looking in. Also carpet needed cleaning
Pros: Excellent choices and lovely room. Service very good.
Pros: Very good spa facilities
Cons: Poor and decor
Pros: It was in a lovely rural location. Very quiet and tranquil. The staff we very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was delicious.
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like. All was good
Pros: The location & garden was nice, room was clean & bed comfortable.
Cons: It appears as if a recent renovation has not been completed. The stairs from the lobby to the bedrooms was quite grotty and dated, and looked at odds to the rest - also this narrow stairs was the only access to the first floor, which was not ideal for carrying luggage. The lounge area was also quite dated. The pump powering the shower was very loud. Apart from that the stay was fine, the breakfast buffet was adequate.
Pros: Friendly staff and good food, really enjoyed the breakfast and their was a good variety of food choice. Lovely rooms. Great location. Great views. The swimming pool was lovely for a quick dip before breakfast
Cons: We booked 3 rooms and our keys very rarely worked, we had to keep going back to reception. My sister has multiple sclerosis and the lift was out of order for the whole of our stay, which was a nuisance for her having to go back and forth to reception to sort her key out. My daughter and I had very little sleep both night due to noisy guests in the next room.
Pros: The spa and low lit swimming pool very relaxing.Long hours open 7am till10pm lovely helpful receptionist in the spa. The hotel was spotless and room spacious with very comfy bed.Bathroom used high end toiletries Elemis very luxurious as well as in the spa showers. The outdoor lawns and flower beds were immaculate and a lovely setting for a wedding. The outdoor rattan table and sofas are spaced around the large lawned areas ,thus makes the area lovely and relaxing to sit out for a drink. The evening meal was delicious and I can highly recommend the Welsh lamb!
Cons: In the evening after eating our meal it was a bit chilly with a high wind so not able to sit in the lovely outdoor area. The tables at the side of the bar which you could sit at during the day were bring laid up for breakfast leaving only the sofa at reception to sit. Not very private as it is directly opposite reception so you sit listening to her speaking to guests on the phone. So another sitting space would be nice rather than having to retire to your bedroom early evening.
