5.0 Okay
Cons: Price/value Waiter overcharged/no bill
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, restaurant, staff, rooms
Cons: No elevator to higher floors
5.8 Okay
Pros: The garden was amazing.
Cons: Dinner - a bit price, but we hoped to get at least the quality for it, which didn't happened. we waithed 1,5h to get our food (ther guests were looking around what is going on that we didn't get our food). When we got our dinner the rice was undercooked, when we returned it (aparently there was another table with the same problem), what they gave us back was even worse. The rice was only slightly better, the meat was much smaller and the vegetable garnish was smaller as well (from 5 tomatoes to only 3). So it was clear, that they only used what we returned them, instead of making new dish, and as we werent the only table returning them the meal, we could only hope that we got our plates, but I doubt that. We were so hungry at that point taht we ate it, paid and left to our rooms to get some more food. Breakfast - in was apparent that they prepare the same things every day, the ham stinked and was old, the pineapple was brown/grey and around fruits were all the small flies and wasps. Disgusting.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was perfect with wide range of variey. Staff was very kind and always smiling.Everything was perfectly clean, the room, the corridor the community areas...not even a dust piece :) Chef is the best, dinner was first class!!Restaurant service is very kind and professional.
Cons: Water pressure was very low.
7.9 Good
Pros: VERY NICE STAFF. WE HAD TO LEAVE VERY EARLY. THEY OPENED FOR BREAKFAST EARLY, SO WE COULD EAT.
Cons: WE HAD TO GO UP QUITE A BIT OF STEEP STAIRS TO REACH OUR ROOM, WHICH WAS NICE,BUT TOO PRICY.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Superb location
Cons: Dinner service cancelled without notice.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good breakfast. Nice view. Comfy bed.
Cons: The lady at the front desk was quite unfriendly. The main reason why we picked that hotel was because they were advertising sauna and spa. After a very long of traveling, we arrived 30 min before the sauna was supposed to close, the lady told us they had already shut down the facilities and that we would have to pay an extra fee - we even agreed, and yet it was impossible. Zero complaisance. The room was small, but with a nice balcony with a great view; the bed was comfy. I found some dark hair in the sink - not nice. The towels were of poor quality. Breakfast was good, with a nice view; the gentleman serving breakfast was very friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome family hotel, good breakfast and very friendly staff :) Our sincere thanks to the owners for making our stay pleasant!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: good location cozy place very friendly staff
6.3 Good
Cons: Really old, but clean. Not bad in total but would not choose this place again.
7.9 Good
Pros: Hosts were nice, accepted me arriving after 23:00 and offered to help with giving the key to the room. Breakfast was also offered at precisely at 8:00 in the morning and the coffee was strong. :) The area is remote and silent. You can enjoy a good night's sleep. I've also heared there are designated walking trails. I liked the old building, reminiscent of older days in the '60s and '70s.
Cons: There were no thik curtains in the windows. In the morning, I woke up earlier because of the light that came through.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, good location in a quiet village and very close to the bus stop, jakobsweg and the old monastery.
Cons: Everything was good.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location
Cons: This place was a shocker, everything in the building could have been bought in a 70s car boot sale. The toilet seat was broken, the balcony was unusable the tiles were still in their packaging, I could produce a very long list, but see no reason to as I have seen the owners responses and unprofessional behaviour.

Pros: Customer service excellent. They called me overseas within minutes after I made the booking to let me know their kitchen was being redone so they couldn't offer me dinner. Breakfast was good, filling and fresh. Hotel is 5 minute walk from the abbey and is in the charming old city center. The building was spotless. There is a large parking lot also. I highly recommend the Wachauerhof hotel.
Cons: The only suggestion I have is to make hot water available late at night for tea.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: All was up to our expectations. The restaurant, comfort, silence, location, weather, etc. Thank you very much for lovely stay!
Cons: We could have stayed longer.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Location to the Melk Abbey was amazing, we did not venture into the Old town because it was Freezing and raining. The Hotel Restaurant/Bar is under renewed management but made FANTASTIC food, incredible local beer and such a homely environment! It is a MUST to stay over for one night
Cons: Directions to the Hotel could be reviewed. We ended up walking over an hour to the hotel with our luggage as we were in transit to Vienna from Prague. It should have been a 5min walk from the train station to the hotel. No Taxi were at the station (understand - its a village). In correspondence with the hotel no taxi was available but upon arrival the ladies were very shocked and arranged a taxi (for the luggage more) for the following day
7.0 Good

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect - 10 minute slow walk to the Melk Abbey - main attraction in the area. Also 15 minute slow walk from the Danube river where boat cruises are at. Restaurant and shops are all near by.
Cons: There was nothing not too like .. except maybe the bed was too small. But, I did order room for a single person. Also, bathroom was sort of small with towels that felt really cheap.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Very pleasant and polite staff. Location is also very convenient. Wellness area is small but very nice.
Cons: Room equipment is basic, even for 3* hotel. Minibar fridge was completely empty, carpet on the floor was full of stains, although clean. Breakfast was very poor and actually the weakest point of entire stay: no any warm dish, only few types of ham and cheese and cold, hard boiled eggs; limited offer of sweets and fruits.

Cons: There is no/hardly any ventilation in the bathroom. The window is not fully covered/shield in the bathroom. If you are tall, others can see you from the other building. Prefer more privacy. No Kettle/Tea bags provided in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They offered to choose 1 room out of 3 available rooms. Actually the room was upgraded. From the room chosen, Stifft Melk was seen from window! In breakfast, they have choise of warm meals on demand. I ordered tuna sandwitch, and it was accepted my child and he finished his sandwitches! (Typically my child doesn't like to have breakfast, so it was really surprising for me that he finished it) They have own coffee roastery. Cake was also nice.
Cons: For me it was not a problem, but the parking space was very narrow.

Cons: Rooms are NOT air conditioned as we were lead to believe - most disappointed! Pros: The Garden The Breakfast The Location
6.7 Good
Cons: Got stuck in Vienna traffic at 5 pm - pulled in at around 8:45 - and not a soul around. You’d think it was after the bars close. Thank the lord an employee was near an out building. Pros: Position with a view on the abbey and Danube. Large parking lot
Cons: The breakfast was not fresh. The beds are very old and the room was very hot. Windows are very deep inward in the roof wall and the air does not circulate much. No airconditioning, no ventilator, no fridge, no free water. Welcome very cold, no information about the area was given to us.

Pros: Staff were unfailingly helpful. Within minutes of arriving (early) I could check into my room, I rented an e-bike and had maps of the local beautiful Wachau valley. Facilities far exceeded my expectations and included a pool, jacuzzi and sauna all available in my great value standard package. Cannot recommend enough!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: By far one of the best accommodations I stayed in during my 5 day ride from Passau to Wien. Beautiful building, very friendly staff (who speak perfect English and tolerated my dismal German...) Dinner in the pub was excellent and the breakfast was beyond compare. The room was exceptional - warm, quiet and very comfortable. Well worth the trip!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I came to Emmersdorf with my motorcycle, so the location was good for me. Nevertheless it is close to Melk so for visitors of this nice city this location is OK as well. And from the first moment in the hotel I felt I would spend great time there. The staff is excellent, huge restaurant includes street space, room itself which I got was fabulous, with big bathroom and two badrooms, and finally the indoor spa was great after eight hours riding. Breakfast is of higher standard as well, sometimes not seen even in 4* hotels within Europe. 10 from 10 :-) and I am sure I will try to repeat this experience.
Cons: nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, the staff courteous and helpful (knowing a little German will help), location was great. Peaceful and quiet area, great place to relax.
Cons: Unfortunately, the room we were provided had the distinct smell of cigarette smoke and the ashtray on the balcony was overflowing with butts. We don't smoke so this was not to our liking. This was odd but we needed a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine in our room. So I went to the bar to ask to borrow a corkscrew. The bartender in the restaurant only had 1?? Had to bring the bottle to the restaurant to have it uncorked.

Pros: Close to the highway, but still quiet, so ideal location for transit.
Cons: Rude staff at breakfast, the room’s door did not work so we we couldn’t close it, the shower’s door was also wrong. Not 4 star service at all.
