The stone-built Varnous Hotel offers warmly decorated rooms with private balcony and has a bar with a traditional lounge area. The lakes of Mikri and Megali Prespa are 7 km away. Vernous rooms feature stone details and have iron or wooden beds. They come with a TV, mini fridge and hairdryer and they offer lake, garden and mountain views. Guests can enjoy a drink or a hot beverage by the fireplace of Varnous or they can sit in the garden featuring wooden benches and tables. The town of Florina is 45 km away from the hotel, while the ski centre of Vigla is at 27 km. Free private, on-site parking is available and free Wi-Fi is offered in the common areas.

Pros: They obtained gluten free bread for my breakfast. Friendly helpful proprietor, speaks English.
Cons: No complaints. Would have liked to have been closer to the centre of the village.

Pros: The location, with views of both lakes and mountains is stunning. The guest house is comfortable and decorated in traditional style. George the host is very helpful and suggested both places to eat and visit. There is a short walk to a very pleasant village square.

Pros: Small but pretty and fairytale looking hotel, few km away from lake Prespa. Our room was in the upper floor and had a balcony with view toward the lake. Hotel has nice breakfast room and small garden. Owner is very kind. At the time of our stay (1 night) we were the only guests in the hotel, but still Mr. Christos offered us coffe and breakfast.

Pros: Very nice hotel, located in a large traditional greek Prespa building. Rooms are very nice and the Furniture are adequate. Breakast more than sufficient. Welcoming from the owner was timely and careful.
Cons: The shower doesn't have curtain, so the toilette gets easily "flooded", just easily improvable!

Traditionally built To Petrino Guesthouse is situated in scenic Agios Germanos 7 km from Lake Great Prespa. It serves a traditional breakfast and features rooms with free Wi-Fi and views to the mountain, lake or the village. Featuring wooden floors with local rugs and a patio area, rooms at the Petrino include a TV and fridge. Each has a private bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer. Some rooms feature a fireplace or a balcony. Pies, traditional pasta soup, cakes and other local delicacies are included in the breakfast that is served in the dining room or in the rooms. Lunch and dinner can also be prepared upon request. Taverns are within a 3-minute walk from the property. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can offer information on local activities such as boat tours and bird watching. Vigla Ski Centre is 27 km away and the town of Florina is at 50 km.

Pros: Wonderful host, breakfast was lovely every morning (coffee, bread, fresh fruit, omelette, etc.) , large spacious room with a fridge and private bathroom (large shower!). Everything was clean and tidy.

Pros: Quiet location with the sound of the creek flowing. Very near nice hiking trails. There is a cafe and one of the best restaurants in the area less than 5 min. walk. Breakfast was great every morning (egg, Greek pastries, fruit and coffee) and the woman running the house is absolutely amazing and sweet! They even helped arrange a taxi to get to Psarades and other areas.

Pros: Thomai and family are exceptional hosts, who've done an amazing job renovating this traditional guesthouse and keeping its features. Rooms are fantastic and breakfasts are home cooked and incredible.

Pros: We loved the locstion, layout and style of room.Excellent facilites Great extra spaces, balconey off room, shared living areas and beautiful outside seating areas. Lovely helpful and friendly host. Amazing breakfast! We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Overall fantastic.

Pros: The guesthouse and rooms are beatifully restored. The village is a traditional Greek village. Great breakfast in the guesthouse. Ypu can have dinner there or eat good food in the restaurant nearby.

Pros: We liked the atmosphere of the old traditional house, along with the decoration and the perfect breakfast that was served near the traditional fireplace made our accomodation idyllic. As for the staff, they were smiley and willing to help us, as they informed us about the village and the region's activities. Definitely recommend it.
