4.0 Okay
Pros: This property is in a fantastic location easy walking distance to town. it is right on the bay and has a great view with some seats to sit on to see the view. The beds were good and the bathroom was very clean.
Cons: The property requires A LOT of renovations to bring it up to spec. The dining table was very old and very scratched, the couches in the living room were incredibly old and didn't look fresh. Some improvements on dining suite and couch and the place would be perfect. The wifi also dropped in and out a lot so they probably need another router.
7.1 Good
Pros: A very good location, close to shops and a lovely view. Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Room and kitchen were ‘tired’ and the bed was very soft giving me a sore back. There was nowhere to hang clothes. Stairs up to our room were quite steep (we are in our late 60’s)

6.0 Good
Pros: Location was very convenient. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom was good. Receptionist was very helpful and booklet on walks, in reception, was very useful.
Cons: No where to sit outside or to dry washing. Felt like being in a car park. We had a ground floor room so would have been better upstairs with a balcony. Kitchenette had no hob so this limited cooking possibilities.

Pros: 2 bedroom was roomy and clean. Toilet was separate from shower which initially seemed like a good idea but with no sink in toilet area, hand washing was not convenient. No view but convenient location.

Pros: The location of the property was very convenient for access into the town centre. The room was was clean and the breakfast served was fine.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property and Sharon and Noel were very welcoming. The location is great, only a 5-10 minute walk from shops and restaurants. We had a balcony and partial view of the bay, which was lovely. The bathroom was completely modern and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection; the warm croissant was a real treat! Our names written on the chalkboard welcoming us was a fun touch

Pros: Banks House exceeded our expectations. Sarah was so lovely and a real delight. Our rooms were beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh croissants, fresh fruit and cereals. Would definitely recommend
