8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent parking good location for exploring area , good breakfast
Cons: Decor getting a little dated; no evening meal or food available on site but restaurants nearby
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room. Beautiful view of the vineyards. Lovely charming building. Fabulous little terrace to drink our wine on. Nice memories.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location as a starting point for traveling the nearby beautiful towns. Very comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Parking at front of the property, in abundance
Cons: 2 minor problems that we encountered: the curtains were not thick enough to prevent light from entering in the morning, and there were no TV stations in English
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice and super helpful. Breakfast was excellent! The view from our room was wonderful
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location...close to prime villages, but still away from crowd, very cute hotel. Strongly recommend
Cons: Nothing specific
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was on point. The hotel is the kind that we love with the more traditional setting. Would recommend it to anyone.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious, very clean and quiet. The bathroom was really good- well finished, spotlessly clean and with the bonus of a separate loo. The bed was really comfortable. We had a balcony which overlooked the hillside and the vineyards. The choice at breakfast was really wide- catering for all tastes and diets.
Cons: It is very difficult to find fault with the hotel. I should have liked the choice of a softer pillow and if being really picky, a larger bath towel. It is also a shame that the hotel doesn’t serve dinner, but there are restaurants in the village, although we were not overly impressed with the one we tried.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Modern hotel in the traditional Alsace style. Plenty of parking.
Cons: Expensive breakfast (13.50 euros)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel with a fabulous location in Alsace. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and bathroom were both very clean. Plenty of hot water when showering. Toiletries topped up each day. The small balcony was perfect for sitting on early evening to have a glass of wine and a bite to eat. The staff are so friendly although English is a bit limited but our French is the same. Even so, we managed and would stay there again and cannot recommend highly enough. It is in a fantastic location to explore the Alsace Wine Route.
Cons: There isn't anything to dislike when staying here.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent accomodation & faciilities. Great value
Cons: Perfect location but difficult to find from postcode, owner very helpful in guiding us to right place.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room, the idyllic garden and panoramic views exceeded our expectations. Nice spread at the breakfast for an affordable €7,5.
Cons: The narrow winding road leading up to the hotel can be a bit cumbersome (esp. with a mind numbed by several hours of driving).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A small, 10 or so room, rural hotel in the Vosges, run by a local family who also run an artisanal butchery in nearby Frelang, consequently the Alsatian charcuterie and restaurant dining room meat dishes are first class, with many types of game available. The owner is very friendly and helpful, wanting to make you stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast of local bread, charcuterie, cheese plus homemade preserves and patisseries is excellent.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marvelous location up the mountain, spectacular views, loved the piglets, goats and ducks. Great little restaurant too, and very kind staff. What more could you want?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location in Kaysersberg Valley. Not far from mountains
Cons: Good place to be. Calm!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really tasty local, traditional Alsace food in the restaurant, breakfast looked great but we didn't have time to try it. Huge room, with everything you need. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and mountains. Loved the donkeys, ducks, goats and pigs in the grounds!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Remote location but under an hour to drive to some of the most scenic villages in France .Excellent food ,all resourced locally. Very helpfull owners and staff.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Restuarant open on Sunday and the Decore of the Restuarant inside, realy wish they had spent that much effort with the Chalet rooms Restuarant Food in the Evening was very quirkey and so nice to see someone was thinking outside of the Box The Terrace overlooking the Pond and the Valley, with an option to Dine out if you wished. Staff and Proprietor were very friendly, good command of English and so no misunderstanding or was there, see below
Cons: What totaly peeved me off was that after organising prior to arrival and again on the day of arrival with the Patron a Celebration Gateaux for my Wife's 60th Birthday they brought out a pityfull Teensie Weensie one bite cake with a single candle, I felt so embarrased, it was as if that was the best I could organise for her Big 60, not impressed! and I felt very insulted! No Milk or biscuits for our Tea in the room and No Coffee on our 1st Day, No Fan in the Room, No Handle on the Shower Door, Warm Water for our 1st Night's Shower [arrived at 6:30pm] and a BIG NO NO for being Charged for our Tiny Dog to Sleep on the Floor in our Chalet. The term "May Charge for a Dog" is just so misleading, especially if they always do charge # To sum up I would say that the marketing ploy here is to fill their Chalets by offering cheap rooms and then to make the Business Work around the fact that people need to eat and drink, a water in our room was priced at 3euro and the restuarant pricing is based upon this model. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, decently sized room with balcony with views of the surrounding vineyards. Romantic hotel in a romantic, quiet town! Very friendly owner & staff. Delicious breakfast. The breakfast room doubles as a wine tasting room in which we were able to taste and buy their wine.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved that place! Very helpful and dedicated staff, such a lovely lady which we were having wine tasting with. It was pleasure to spend the weekend at the property. Surrounding very nice, quiet, tranquil. Wines were excellent, we bought 13 bottles afterwards:)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the vineyard were really helpful, plus very knowledgeable for the winetasting. Would recommend.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were made to feel extremely welcome in this spotlessly clean and intimate little property, located in a working winery and furnished to a very high standard. The staff - possibly the proprietors - were very pleased to offer interesting information on wine-making and local culture. They run short introductions (1 or 2 hours) on wine making. On this occasion we were able to stay for just one night and couldn't take advantage of this, but we are already making plans for a longer stay next year.
Cons: We couldn't find anything to dislike.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff - Tiffany. She could not have been more helpful. The location is great - in the middle of vineyards with lots of opportunities to walk and cycle.
Cons: Our room was rather dark and shaded. Being on the ground floor also meant we couldn’t open the windows. Next time we’d book a room at the front or on the upper floors.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is very pretty, convenient by short drive to several towns worth visiting. Staff was very friendly. Parking was convenient and free of charge.
Cons: The bed, bedding and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. There was no AC, only a fan. The room was about 27°/80°F all night. There were no bed sheets, only a heavy comforter, so this was not ideal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. From the check-in process, to the wine tasting we had an amazing time. Tiffany, the host, couldn't have been more gracious! She went through the wines with us patiently and made us feel welcome, while also speaking English. Even gave us recommendations on food in the next town over. Room was nice, bathroom was nice, bed was fairly comfortable. Hope we get the chance to come again!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is such a cozy hotel in the Vosges area. The rooms are elegantly decorated with French style. Host Anaelle and her mum provided good information for sightseeing and trekking to Lac Tuites, Lac Blanc & Lac Noir. Really wanna go ski in winter time. We also love the breakfast that Anaelle’s mum cooked for all guests. Simple but high quality.
Cons: They photo of hotel building posted on booking.com is not right! The really building are much better than the photo. Please change!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice, quiet place up the hill from Kaysersberg. We were simply passing through on our way from Germany to Paris, and it was an ideal location. We arrived after hours but the hosts sent us a text with instructions to let ourselves in. There was nowhere to eat that was open when we arrived (@ 7 pm) so we drove down to Kaysersberg (15 min. away) where there are many excellent restaurants.
Cons: The location is a bit remote, but quiet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Service
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were able to check in a bit early (noon) and then walk from the hotel to the start of the hiking path around several lakes in the area, which was perfect for our purposes. The mattress was a great firmness, clearly quite new (mid-firmness, and exactly as firm as what I use at home), great after being worn out from hiking. Quiet; thick walls and new windows. Clearly a well-renovated place. Lovely view of the back yard, with the windows open one could hear the rushing stream. Fromagerie around the corner, as well as a trout farm. Orbey is very close. We went to Kayserberg for dinner, which was an easy trip.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel and staff are great!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly personel (mother and daughter), lovely breakfast with fresh products, they gave good recommendations for visiting the area

Pros: By far the most charming and helpful hosts I have ever had the pleasure of staying with in 25 years of staying at B&Bs.
Cons: It was fantastic, utterly magical.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful. The room has a stunning view on the valley, the bed is one of the most comfortable bed we slept in. The room is very spacious with nice design elements and extremely clean. We had airco which was absolutely necessary this particular weekend in France. We went biking and Maurice, the owner, gave us great road recommendations. Edith, his wife is a brilliant cook, amongst being really friendly and was also great in giving us restaurant and winery recommendations. Ideal for a long weekend.
Cons: This will sound lame but cannot think of one thing that wasn’t up or beyond our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about this property - our room was huge, sat high up on the hill with stunning views of the valley, other hills and sunsets, spacious bathroom with large walk in shower, 2 sinks and lots of storage space. The toilet had its own room with sink. The room had a long couch, chair, table & nice stools and the most comfortable king bed ever! The breakfasts were fabulous - fresh breads, pastries, orange juice, homemade apple juice, coffee, meats, cheeses, yogurt and creamy butter. The hosts were very helpful (recommended hikes, restaurants, vineyards, etc.) and were just such friendly, genuinely nice people. We did not want to leave after 3 nights. Highly recommend this place (short drive to all the wine trail towns with no parking issues) and we will definitely stay here again if in the area!
Cons: Nothing; everything was perfect!

Pros: The very cosy hotel based in a beautiful little village. We loved that the village was a lot less touristy than many of the surrounding villages, and was walking distance to some exceptional vineyards in the region. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. Accommodated our lack of French language fluency by speaking English to us. We booked a comfort room and we had a 4 night stay. They told us we had accidentally been put in a regular room and offered to put us in a comfort room. We didn't know the difference because our room # 21 was cozy, nice large bathroom with soaking tub. We had a small balcony overlooking the village and vineyards. To us it was a comfort room. They adjusted the price. We would never had known. We appreciated the honesty. Disclaimer: we booked last minute as we had spent a horrible night in an Airbandb property we had to leave it was so awful.

Pros: Beautiful hotel and great service! Spa was amazing. Best message my husband and I have had in a while. Breakfast was very nice with lots of options.
Cons: Disappointed that both restaurants were fully booked. No space for hotel guests. Definitely need to book way in advance, which wasn't possible for us. We decided last minute to drive to L'Hotel Chambard. However, plenty of other great restaurants nearby.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms, nice location, very comfortable.
Cons: Parking usually full. The gourmet restaurant need to book couple of days in advance or you won't get a table.
6.7 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable, shower was nice. Balcony with a view on the vineyards. The Winstube restaurant was very pretty, food was good and the staff was nice.
Cons: Service and staff at reception. We booked this hotel for our first wedding anniversary and we were so much looking forward to it. Unfortunately the hotel staff managed to taint our special occasion. We have an electric car and one of the main reasons for us choosing the hotel was the fact that they have a Tesla charger. It didn’t work and they told us on Friday - 2 days before our stay. There wasn’t enough time for us to find a different stay and we were not offered any other solution. Cancellation was of course not an option since we were so close to the arrival date. I had to ask for some kind of compensation (they didn’t offer any themselves) and the hotel came up with 2 glasses of aperitif (€ 7.00 each). Considering their non working charger caused a few disruptions to our trip, that was definitely not a fair solution. In fact, we arrived 2 hours later than expected which meant we couldn’t enjoy the spa or the village on Sunday evening. I at least expected some kind of discount/a free spa treatment/a discount off the meal (since it was 7 pm when we arrived we had to have dinner there and didn’t really have time to have a look around). After this first issue with the charger something else happened. After dinner on Sunday, we asked if breakfast was included in our booking (since I couldn’t access my emails/booking.com app) and we were advised that no, it wasn’t. Only when we checked out on Monday morning we were told that we did have breakfast included in the room rate! But it was unfortunately too late for it. When I asked for a refund, the manager (I believe) came forward and said they could still serve it to us even if the breakfast was officially closed. When I said we didn’t have time to enjoy breakfast, they said they couldn’t refund us as we made the booking through booking.com. They then offered a breakfast box which we also had to refuse as it was not adequate compensation to what we had actually missed out on (€36.00 breakfast per person).

Pros: The location of the property is wonderful, stunning little historic village at the bottom of some vineyards. The staff all spoke english impeccably and were exceptionally helpful. There was absolutely nothing to fault with our stay at this place.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Central town location. Excellent bed.
Cons: Awful communication. Arrived to check in at 2pm and no one was around. After an hour of trying we got in touch with the owner who informed me they wouldnt be able to check us in until 6 pm. Apparently if checking in on a Tuesday you need to arrange a 'check in appointment' prior to arrival. I have never had this. No apology for making us wait in motorcylce gear for 3 hrs in the heat wave. And the worst is that they lied about agreeing with us a check in time and sending us an email the day before. No email was received. Another couple checking in the same day were in the same situation; they were also told they were emailed but this email was also not received. Good apartment but I would never stay again. This really soured our honeymoon. (stayed in 11 different places around Europe and this was the only place that let us down).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was amazingly comfortable. Towels hung on heated racks. Neat and cozy and warm. This is a lovely place to stay right in the middle of town. I will return and highly recommend this place. The breakfast was beautiful. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. A warm, comfortable, intimate atmosphere.

Pros: The location was great within the village and the room size was large compared to others in France.
Cons: The WiFi in the rooms was not good
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Right in the middle of tiny Riquewihr, these lovely apartments were perfect. We stayed in the modern design apartment, which was on the top floor. Supercomfy bed, great shower. A nice breakfast was served in the next door Brendelstaub, which has the same owners. You pick up the key from there too.
Cons: If you are in fit condition like us, the apartment on the top floor should not be a problem. However, if you have problems walking, this may not be your best option.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The incessant music piped through the street!!!! Dreadful? Dreadful!!!

Pros: Great location. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was very nice. The staff was very friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: A bit more fresh fruit at breakfast would be nice. The rooms are clean and spacious but decoration is very basic
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: I had booked the room for 2 people in Best Western Hotel & spa le Schoenenbourg 14 to 16 August. We came with a kid of 8 years old. The staff told us we couldn't stay in the room with the kid because it was small size (only for 2 people). Then we asked if we could pay extra for the kid. They refused. We asked for another room. They refused. And they also said that we couldn't cancel our booking. So we were not able to stay together with our kid and were not able to cancel our booking. The staff were arrogant and unfriendly! The manager (he even did not tell us his name) forced us to sign a paper that we are informed that we cannot stay together in one room. The only thing he cared about was his personal safety and not clients with the child! He did nothing to solve the situation. He told us he didn't want to take responsibility if anything... We asked a receptionist if it was possible to change the room the next day she said yes. Due to hot season almost all hotels (family rooms) in Riquewihr were booked. I found the small hotel on the other side of the village and stayed there for one night. My wife and daughter stayed here. Next day the staff changed the room but to our suprise the new room was the same size and even without balcony which the first one had... Unfortunately we had to stay here for one more night!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. was located in a nice quiet village in good location on the wine route.
Cons: We like everything. Maybe need to ask guests coming on motor bikes to share the space of a car park as there was not enough parking space for the cars
7.5 Good
Pros: The fact that the hotel used to be an abbey was special. Most of all the rooms were clean, the air-conditioning worked very well, and the service was friendly in general. Breakfast was very good too. Check out at the reception was quick and very friendly indeed.
Cons: We arrived late in the evening around 9pm and were not greeted well by reception. We got the impression that reception was not aware of our booking and had to wait until the reservation was found.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, great breakfast.
Cons: Limited eating facilities in the village. Of the two restaurants one was fully booked, the other managed to give us a table after much discussion. Very expensive meal.

Pros: Beautifull buildings, very big room and bath.
Cons: The room was dully decorated and not very cosy. The parking was overfilled later in the day so we were lucky to arrive early.

7.5 Good
Pros: We stayed on our way home from Italy to England. The parking was very good & safe, we could see it from our bedroom window. Staff pleasant & helpful. Plentiful seating in breakfast room.
Cons: Breakfast was basic, no gluten free bread for people with coeliac disease. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Room a bit dark, no ceiling light. When we arrived the owner said the local restaurant was closed on Tuesdays so we would need to go into Kaysersberg, 2 miles away, most everything there was closed also on Tuesdays. We managed to get a basic café meal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Conveniant location with garage for bicycles
Cons: The fact that the manager at the front desk was alone to serve all customers...waiting time
8.8 Excellent
Pros: They made a phone call for me because of language challenge and request from another lodging. The place was very, very clean! I saw a person two consecutive days cleaning the front and back of the television in the breakfast room.

Pros: Very clean and spacious rooms. Lovely terrace and garden. Very friendly and helpful couple running this B&B. Perfect and quiet location for visiting Alsace and the wine route. Both French, English and German spoken. We highly recommend this place.
Cons: Everything was good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I spent three absolutely wonderful days at Le Clos Des Raisins and can only recommend this B&B. It is located in a small, calm and picturesque village - however, it is still very central and in the midst of other absolutely stunning and beautiful little towns and villages. The B&B is a true oasis and the hospitality of the owners can hardly be beat. We were welcomed very cordially and equipped with many helpful tips for the area. The breakfast was amazing and especially the countless homemade jams a true treat.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Very quiet and lots of privacy. The pool was excellent. There is a sauna and showers near the pool. The scenery is just marvelous.
Cons: Kitchenette is really small with very limited cooking functionality.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice place. Fine room and fine pool. The place it a little quiet. No extra facilities beside room and pool. Nice host and service when you need it.
Cons: Missing possibility for breakfast.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice swimming pool with both shadow and sun. I was nice and quiet, calm atmosphere and a friendly host.
Cons: Our apartment was clearly one of the oldest, with only a very small and simple kitchenette, which made cooking and doing the dishes a challenge. For the rest is was okay: the apartment was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower very spacious. Except the small kitchen nothing was really wrong, but the price level would have suggested a more up-to-date apartment. The WiFi was almost impossible: no reach for some of the time, and when connected very slow. So I used my 4G network to connect and made my own hotspot so that my wife could read the newspapers on her tablet.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location in the middle of the vineyards, the buildings, the spacious accomodations, and the pool area surrounded by old trees were all wonderful. The kitchen in our apartment had everything you needed to prepare small meals, and sitting outside just in front of the apartment with our morning coffee and a view of the vineyards was heavenly! We left our car at home and brought our bikes on the train, but even so, Kanzel Residences was easy to reach from the Colmar train station - as were restaurants and shops in Beblenheim, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé and Kaysersberg (no need to bike on the major roads, there are excellent bike paths through the vineyards which allow you to avoid traffic).
Cons: The only thing less than perfect was that we had no WiFi access in our room during the stay - we had to go to the reception area or close to the pool. Caroline and Serge tried their very best to have this fixed, though, but it was apparently a major technical problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent an amazing weekend in one of the apartments! Absolutely mesmerizing location! All employees ver nice, approachable and professional ! I will definitely book again!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was arranged perfectly with a lot of attention to the details. Very welcoming place. Highly recommended.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Caroline, our host was most friendly and welcoming. She helped us booking restaurants and was around to answer any questions we had.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: - Carolina is a great host. After we arrived we could immediately enter our appartement, no unnecesary paperwork. Carolina showed us the appartement. - The appartement was soo nice. Big kitchen with everything you need. Big bathroom and nice terrace. We stayed with just the two of us. I believe we had one of the bigger appartments though. - There was also a great pool. Water temperature was perfect! Not too hot and not too cold. - A very good bakery nearby. Also a little supermarket. - Overall: defenitely reccomend!
Cons: - Nothing!

Pros: Fantastic location right in the heart of Turckhiem. Wonderfully quirky little hotel, with great decor. Somebody has an eye for oddities and curiosities.
Cons: We visited when is was in a bit of a heatwave, so the bedrooms were very warm. But fans are in all the rooms, just not aircon.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old building with lovely decor. Our room was spacious and had a fan which was very appreciated in the heat! Great location in the heart of the beautiful old town with a large free parking lot a short walk just beyond the city gate (with its resident storks) Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Nicely decorated common areas. Breakfast was lovely - mostly sweet options (multiple types of cake and tarts, croissants, muesli and yoghurts) but also some cheese and cold meats - highly recommended!
Cons: There are stairs but they are carpeted and not too unpleasant to climb
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, lovely old style and beautiful bar/lounge for drinks in the evening. Great family room. Easy parking in the little square just outside the hotel. Fab restaurants round the corner. Perfect for a few nights on the area.
Cons: Quite warm rooms but lots of fans provided. Breakfast was lovely but very nutty if you have allergies.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Old hotel with beautiful atmostphere and good location.
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: It’s a very old style hotel very Cousy and felt Quite comfortable with exception of some basic things which if improved would make it a pleasant stay.
Cons: The bathtub is missing a curtain and a hook to have water fixed on top of your water. Instead you make everything wet. I believe this is very French style which is a pity because the customers are all international. We stayed with some friends in 3 rooms in total. It was the same in all rooms. The curtains of the room facing to the front are not blocking the sun so you wake up with a lot of son in your eyes, very uncomfortable. The breakfast was quite poor, no Diversity of pastries.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff Very quaint village
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beauty room, good breakfast, excellent staff
Cons: No elevetor to carry the luggage to the 3th floor... no one offer to help us. Extra Money ask for 30' late check up

Pros: Nice and interesting hotel. Great location.
Cons: I do not understand that breakfast is not included in booking price.
