Cons: Room needs some tlc Mould in the bathroom and a very musty smell. Breakfast was good but a little expensive
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Clean.
Cons: The shower in the bath. A proper shower is better as it is easier to get in and out and stand.
5.5 Okay
Pros: When making the booking I included dinner for both nights. On returning to the hotel on day 2 after being out all day all was locked up but entry to the accommodation section was possible. No staff around and when ringing a contact number was told the restaurant was closed. Why was I not told this at breakfast. Very poor service.
Cons: The lack of communication

Pros: The location with a car.
Cons: The shower in the bath instead of being separate.

Pros: A beautiful Manoir, Annie and Patrick were very helpful hosts . Breakfast was lovely
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The location of the property was excellent. Access is via a beautiful tree lined driveway. It has a very pleasant open vista and the property has been sympathetically restored. The Manoir is within a few minutes drive of Argentan, a lovely town that has lots of good shops and places to eat. It is also within easy reach of Haras du Pin (the Percheron National Stud) which is a lovely day our if you are of an equestrian persuasion. Also Chateau d’O which is also beautiful. There is plenty of parking which is within easy reach of the rooms. The room was cool and spacious with access to a shared kitchen and secluded terrace with barbecue which was fantastic.
Cons: Unfortunately my room was beneath another that had some thoughtless guests who made lots of noise for over an hour in the middle of the night. Some sort of soundproofing would help as I’m assuming the floor above is uncarpetted wooden boards They were dragging their luggage about and or moving furniture around, all this at gone midnight. I alerted the host as she was still awake and she said that she would speak to the guests at breakfast. This didn’t really help me as I was leaving early that day to go home. The availability of a kitchen was most welcome as I was able to entertain friends who were also staying nearby (we were all there for a funeral) I would have very much appreciated some slightly better equipment - decent cutlery, a good kitchen knife and a salad bowl or two in particular.

Pros: Staff were so wonderful. Food was superb, quiet location made for excellent rest.
