Valsana Hotel & Appartements - Arosa - Building

C$ 563+

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Many great hotels we leave behind with a thought 'we could return one day'. We left Valsana with a thought 'we must return'. Exceptional: people, service, rooms, location, experience.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All the facilities of the hotel are absolutely great. We enjoyed our corner room with a beautiful view of both the lake and the mountain (the view is breathtaking and is definitely a highlight, the hotel is so close to the mountains). The room had a big TV which was connected to a loudspeaker in the bathroom, so you could enjoy listening to the music while taking a shower, there was also a nice retro-style record player with some old records. The fridge in the room had nice local soft drinks which were free of charge which was very nice. The swimming pool and sauna areas are great, we used it a couple of times, this time of the year it was really quiet and we enjoyed almost a private swimming pool. The restaurant has good food (we also had one dinner there aside of breakfasts), it's definitely worth to dine there at least once if you're staying. The food variety during breakfast is pretty much standard, but the products are of a high quality, they also serve great poached eggs with spinach. Overall, the hotel is very nicely designed and we would definitely come back once the occasion comes.
Cons: The hotel only offers ironing as a paid service, there is no way to iron your clothes aside this option.
6.7 Good
Pros: New and modern hotel. Good facilities and rooms are very nice and clean. Great location.
Cons: Service staff going through motion. Staff are friendly but competence evel needs to be improved. Restaurant Twist is very average and not recommended. Better restaurants in Arosa.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: - very nice facilities and attentive staff - food at the restaurant was excellent - very accommodating with any needs, particularly check out time. - good location, walking distance to the slopes and the station.
Cons: - squeezed orange juice at the breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was absolutely joyful, comfortable stay at this hotel. Truly speaking, nothing disappointed us. We will surely come back to this hotel for another short holiday. Thank you for your kindness and great service.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: nice design and warm athmosphere in the hotel, very friendly staff, nice food in the restaurant. room was very spaciouse and nicely decorated. spa area is clean and nice as well with different options to relax or being active in the gym area. we really liked that in arosa it seems you get the travel card for the gondolas, bus etc. included as of one night stay this was a very positive surprise to learn that this is included in the price. overall a great stay!
Cons: maybe selection for breakfast could have a little more variation. our balcony was directly attached next to the staircase so people using the stairs have a full view into the balcony hence we would have enjoyed some more privacy to really feel comfortable to use the balcony. Also one minor thing was that there was a welcome note in the room that was adressing myself as Ms und my Partner as Mr. given that my Partner is female as well this was quite iritating especially because then also the bathrobe for the spa was one male size and one female size etc. it was not a big deal but if the hotel wants to improve on their inclusiveness of LGBTQI guests they might want to be more considerate on how to adress their guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything- fantastic place
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was extremely comfortable, the staff were fabulous and looked after us so well. It was an excellent stay and we would recommend this hotel for its location and comfort
Cons: Maybe the menu in the restaurant wasn't exciting enough. We ate once and it was good food but having chosen once there wasn't enough choice to tempt me back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing place! Great stuff! Words can’t describe good enough how special this hotel is. We absolutely love this place and will be staying again and again!
Cons: Just perfect from the moment we walked, we didn’t like that we had to leave.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and the hotel staff were amazing. Thank you very much for making our stay great. The room was large, clean and comfy and the hotel facilities are outstanding. The spa and spa facilities are outstanding. The breakfast was great and all staff behaved exemplary. This is how a 5 star hotel should. Thank you to the staff and congratulations to the staff and management for how this hotel is run.
Cons: I think the drive up to Arosa from Chur is difficult. Better have an automatic all wheel drive vehicle, especially in the winter and be prepared for very steep turns (this is more like an advice for people and not related to the quality of the hotel). The hotel has great cars than can pick you up from Arosa and bring you to the hotel, free of charge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The mountain cable car.
Cons: The temperature of the spa is a bit cold comparing other spa in Switzerland.

The place is clean, inviting, and spacious. Great breakfast. Easy walk to town. Parking lots are close after you drive up and take out your luggage. Highly recommend!
7.5 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The room was well decorated but so small, it barely fit two people. It was quiet, however. With few staying in the hotel during the off-season, I wonder why they didn’t give us a larger room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Extraordinarily friendly and attentive staff. Finally a hotel without the useless Television.

Pros: We stayed in the Lifestyle suite which was spacious and very well equipped, including a full kitchen with all the utensils needed to cook dinner. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was lovely.
Cons: We booked the Lifestyle Suite for three people and thought there would be a pull-out couch but it was actually a cot. It was comfortable, but slightly unexpected.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very comfortable, luxurious and friendly
Cons: The restaurants arrangement. There is no main dining room, only a few restaurants to choose from, and not all of them are open every day in the week. We prefered the old arrangement, with a main dining room with a menu that changed daily plus restaurants to hooe from.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, 5 mins walk from the ski lift and train station. A cute traditional hotel that was impeccably clean and friendly. We loved it.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Oliver and Edith, the owners, and their staff are wonderful - they made us feel so welcome. The location is perfect, a short walk to the center of Arosa but far enough away to be serene and beautiful. If you like smaller cozy hotels - you will love this one!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the food, view, hotel and the people operating it. The Schmid family does outstanding job, just like a fine swiss watch. Highly recommended if you want a cozy swiss chalet experience with a reasonable price.
Cons: The Spa was not running during the off- peak period.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is cozy and well structured. You have to try the jacuzzi after a day skiing. The breakfast and dinner were all delicious, you don't need any other place to eat, or to relish. The staff is very helpful. I would like to mention the care of the kindly owners, they will make any guest feeling like special frequent customers.
Cons: To leave! Was my first time in Arosa but not my last, we'll try to come back next season. I think the tracks are pretty good for ski beginners like me, but I have to say that I didn't like my performance, I'll try to make it better next time, and the stay at the Astoria Hotel does make it easier.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We come there for a relaxing in weekend and we had one of the best weekend. The hotel is very clean, the dinner was great and the hospitality was also good. We are considering to come back thrrr again during the winter time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The gluten free breakfast options were terrific. Very friendly staff and more than happy to accomodate.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We got an upgrade to a room with a balcony, with a beautiful view to the mountains. That was very nice and we really appreciated. The restaurant has different dinners throughout the week. We had the Chinese Fondue on Saturday. It was a lot of food, for a fair price for the region. The "Edelweiss" linens were a nice touch for Alps lovers. Location is perfect, bus nearby to the lifts.
Cons: I found it pricey, even for Switzerland. I had the feeling they are rushing you at the restaurant - service was OK, but we arrived a bit later for dinner and breakfast and they were already taking everything as soon as we got our food. I understand that in Switzerland people are "early birds", but we prefer to relax, take our time and enjoy - it's holidays afterall.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff and great location. Also excellent restaurant with famous meat fondue on Saturdays.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very close to everything. Great room view.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, the staff was amazing especially the man who checked us in. They were all super nice. The dinner was also delicious and the view at breakfast was perfect.

6.0 Good
Pros: We can recommend a delightful Italian restaurant in the town who welcome dogs with open arms!
Cons: I think there needs to be more clarification on what pet friendly means. If your dog is happy to stay in the hotel room with his hotel-provided bowl, paws wipe and treats then this could be the place for you. Ours suffers separation anxiety and as responsible tourists we don't leave him to whimper, bark or claw at the door. Other than that he is a beautifully behaved and well travelled toy poodle and our touring 3 and 4 week hotel experiences across Europe over the 4 years of his life have been excellent as we always book dog friendly hotels accepting that he will not always be welcome in the hotel restaurant, but when that is the case, a table will be set aside for breakfast, usually in the bar. This was to be an exception. When I was instructed not to enter the empty bar with the dog by the barman, and told " a small breakfast " could be delivered to our room as "putting a table in another room would turn that room into a dining room" by the hotel owner, my husband and I didn't exactly feel welcome . Further discussion with the owner revealed that he signed the hotel up as "dogs allowed" although he did say dogs are allowed in the bar, so there appeared to be some miscommunication between hotel policy and staff. Next morning, as we paid the bill, after my husband had breakfasted alone in the dining room whilst I walked the pooch, we were told a table had been laid up for us outside of the dining room area but by that time we were leaving.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We could not fault the hotel, facilities or the excellent customer service that all the staff provided. We booked a massage as an extra and the masseuse was wonderful.
6.3 Good
Pros: The view is great, the hot tub is fantastic.
Cons: The Maitre D' approached me and my son on our way to the restaurant disapproving our outfits, and especially the fact that we were using the slippers provided by the hotel. Mind you we had been hiking all day from Lenzerheide and packed only what we could carry, so not much in extra clothing and especially NOT extra shoes. Bottom line, he is perfectly within his right to suggest changing and try to preserve some standard the establishment may have (or believe it has), where he fails in my book is when he does that in such a condescending manner, with an air of contempt and a sneer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a corner suite with balcony, all around us stunning views on the Alps. As soon as they heard we were vegan, they bought almond milk for our cappuccinos and the chefs especially prepared us vegan 3 course meals. They offered free charging for our Tesla. The rooms come with free roaming of most of the Arosa’s facilities, including the cable cars up to the mountains.
Cons: -
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a gorgeous property with large comfortable rooms, fantastic views and an amazing spa and sauna area.
Cons: The only thing lacking was a tea kettle in the room. That’s it- everything else was perfect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was great
Cons: Food options were quite limited and expensive
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, in beautiful and quiet location. Very good if you want to go skiing. The hotel has a shuttle bus that takes you to the lifts in just a couple of min. Rooms nice clean and spacious. The breakfast is excellent.
Cons: The Grand Restaurant did not live up to our expectations in the evening. Service was good but the food was not as good as you could expect. Wienerschnitzel too thin and dry, polenta souffle to dry. Salmon was good and the beef as well but it was the combinations and the menu that was a bit strange to us. Still OK though.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I did like the friendliness of the staff. We felt welcome in a big family.
Cons: The room temperature was very high and the humidity very low. Only option to regulate is opening the windows.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The very cosy and mountain like decoration, the very nice staff, the comfort of the bed, the very good breakfast, the bus to the ski lifts, the wellness center that was very relaxing with an outdoor sauna with windows on the snow
Cons: We had a suite but the « salon » part was a bit limited (not that confortable) and there was a fire place with no fire. Also bathroom furniture could have been more generous. Finally water should be available for free all time, not only at the arrival
10.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast and dinner were marvelous. Life piano music and great wines . fine gastronomic disches from and bright cook. very friendly and professional staff 10/10

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with the best Swiss products...the hospitality of Yan , Alesia and Alexandra was very heartwarming and efficient. Arosa really uplifts your spirit, your cardiac health, and mental alertness giving you a genuine time and space for overall wellness.
Cons: Nothing to be sorry about.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Really all good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location, about 3 minute walk to the lift, 3-5 mins to the train station. Very close to every important "landmark" in quiet Arosa. Room (single-bed) was small but sufficient and functional. Shower was hot and bathroom clean. Skiis and boots are locked away safely in the ski cellar locker boxes provided for every room. Helpful and competent staff!
Cons: The gym is only equipped with cardio which i feel like is unnecessary given that one gets all the cardio from skiing/hiking/snowboarding etc. I would have liked to see some weights. Also, the stepper was unusable for me (1.85m tall) as my head was touching the fairly low ceiling. Floor of ski cellar was kind of humid and ~smelly, but that's ok. Maybe I was too early (7.30 AM) but there was no eggs of any sort at the beginning of breakfast time. Unfortunate for early bird skiiers.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, very friendly and welcoming staff, clean room, plenty of hot water! English was not a problem and we also got arosa card - all was perfect. We enjoyed our stay there. Thank you!
Cons: Room is clean and well kept, but feels a bit outdated. It fits though with overall hotel atmosphere. So it is not really a complaint as everything worked fine and room feels bigger than expected.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great :)
Cons: Due to feast outside in the main street, the first part of the night was very noisy outside
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to the lifts and the town centre. Warm boot room. Friendly welcome and helpful service. Fair value.
Cons: Bathroom in 109 is beyond tiny because of the lift being next door, have to step outside to dry off
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good staff!! Everybody very helpful for everything we needed. Very nice, cosy rooms and top location!

Pros: Exceptional service. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. We had dinner in the restaurant each evening and it was all wonderful. The bar is very cosy with a lovely alpine atmosphere. There is a bus stop just near the hotel which goes to the station and mountain lifts. Also, it is only a 10 minute walk to the rail station.
Cons: The only very small irritation was the pillows in our room. They need renewing but I am sure that if we had taken the trouble to point it out to the staff they would have changed them for us.

Pros: 1. Quiet, calm and nothing around there. 2. Staff, especially Sina-san. 3. Simple breakfast is included in the room price.
Cons: A distance from the station "Langwies" is not so far, but have to climb the road. No signs of the pension and/or guest houses near by the station.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location itself is great! Easy accessible road to the train station. I loved the views. Could upload more pics. Many thanks for having me! :)
Cons: No such things
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and they picked me up and dropped me of at the train station and calcualted the times I would need to leave to get to my flight on time. Sina made the kitchen and all snacks and beverages available. She gave me a map of the ski slope and was avaialble to receive my luggagee when the airline delivered it. Amazing!!!!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic restaurant and cleaning service. Cosy ambiance and great that ski passes are included in the rate. Great food, good facilities and super convenient that the shuttle brings you to the piste.
Cons: We were a large group and check-in and check-out was a bit of a hassle as they got confused quickly. With large groups they prefer if you book with them directly. Check-out was not possible early in the morning even though we had to make our train.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great dining hall and lounge great pool very comfortable room
7.9 Good
Pros: Really nice hotel, good location, good breakfast served- over all really happy
Cons: Sofa bed was not very comfortable, would have prefered a double bed instead
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The facilities and service for children were excellent. A staffed activity room was on hand through meal times and evenings, and the facilities on site included go karts, trampolines, tennis and football, pool, and craft activities. Service was excellent in every area, and particularly in the restaurants
Cons: Some of the room fixtures were a little dated
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Family run hotel with great facilities. The spa facilities and pool were excellent. Splash time for young children clearly stated in the pool area. (4.30 pm - 6.00pm) Relaxation room and the view of the alps was breathtaking. Nice touch to have herbal tea served while relaxing. Additional bonus was the complimentary transport to and from the train and ski station. The upgraded rooms are very nice, and one of our party struck luck with Room 535, what a view!
Cons: The hotel is just off the main road and less than a 10 minute walk to the main Gondola station. The public path wasn't cleared of ice and you had to be very careful when taking the short cut up to the main road.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, great food, great wellness centre and all round a great place to stay when in Arosa
Cons: Nothing...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Booked a single room but got upgraded to a double as it was the off season and the hotel was quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable but the pillows are of no use. They are massive with very little head support. As part of the deal we had full use of the leisure club, free lift pass for the cable car and the local train. This was an excellent bonus.
Cons: We went out of season so not much was open in the town of Arosa, but that isn’t the hotels fault. Also, the off season is when Switzerland does its road works, so the prepared for that, again, this is not the hotels fault, just something to be aware of.
7.9 Good
Cons: Reception staff were not as helpful as they could or should have been after I shared I had an injury and I asked about location of medical centre and information from hotel for purpose of my insurance claim to get some refund on unused ski pass.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Just nice view and Swimming pool with kids after our Skiing.
Cons: Little bit too high price then Quality. It could have better Breakfast. Every morning thought is this today, or yesterday??
7.1 Good
Pros: Very good food and a really nice bar.
Cons: Our room was nice and clean but a little old fashioned

Pros: The location and views are stunning! The rooms are vary spacious, comfortable beds, lovely showers, also has a mini fridge!
Cons: No coffee maker in the room. The front desk staff happily gave us one each morning if asked, only to be charged unexpectedly for them at checkout. The playroom needs better lighting.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Super convenient to have the little ski school for kids right in front of the hotel.
Cons: The only downside is that there is no swimming pool.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room is surprisingly large, the sauna is a bonus, and the restaurant serves good food / breakfast. The views from the room and hotel windows are also lovely. Overall a lovely stay.
Cons: The location is a bit far from the main station, but the buses are free during the day, and it's easy enough to go hiking/skiing from the hotel.

Pros: GREAT LOCATION, ON THE SLOPES, BUT NOT IN THE TOWN, IF THAT'S IMPORTANT. FOOD VERY GOOD, STAFF CAN BE A BIT STIFF AND FORMAL, BUT DEFINITELY WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

Pros: I liked just everything, the staff is extraordinary, the cleanliness unbeatable, the food delicious. The location is the best you find in Arosa.
Cons: Just nothing, everything was gorgeous.

Pros: Clean, huge balcony, warm, equipped, Marty very nice host.
Cons: A bit old, 88 steps to get to the main street, barking dogs and noise from neighbouring units.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Roomy cozy comfortable appartment with excellent facilities. Living room with well equipped kitchen, bathroom, twin bedroom. Swimming pool with amazing view. Good transport links.
Cons: Verbal directions from bahnhof (Google maps didn't work well) Wifi not included.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money, friendly and helpful staff. The pool in addition is a plus. Kitchen is fully equipped, with even a coffee machine. It was very convenient for us as a family
Cons: The spring mattresses in the bedroom need a change and it’s poorly soundproofed
7.9 Good
Cons: beautiful views in the Swimming pool area, the sauna. The location is perfect
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Even though we were not warned that building work was going on, the comfy apartment in an excellent location with a swimming pool(with an amazing Alpine view) made the stay really worthwhile.
Cons: Reception not 24 hrs Sauna and swimming pool shuts at 700pm You might struggle a bit if you can’t speak German
6.7 Good
Pros: The pool has stunning views and the sauna provides a good place to relax after a day of skiing provided it is open. The rooms are a good size for a stay in which you don't want to live out of your bag. Although our microwave/ oven were broken, we were given access to another room which was empty to use the oven.
Cons: Although the adds are in English, the language isn't spoken at the hotel. Unless you are fluent in German I would not recommend staying as it is extremely difficult to communicate with the staff. Also had to put the sheets on the beds when we first arrived which was unexpected. If you are arriving by train, especially in winter, access is difficult as the long steel road covered in ice makes it difficult to access.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is perfect. Walk upstairs to grocery and main road - bus to lifts.
Cons: Very dated and wifi did not work well.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good price, nice kitchen, nice swimming pool and sauna

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast buffet. Evening meals exceeded our expectation. Good location not far from ski lift. Owners were very friendly and helpful with local information, arranging ski passes, taxi etc. etc. Staff were friendly and the rooms, dining areas and bathrooms were very clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfekt...the wonderful Panorama from the Restaurant to the Mountains something unique and breathtaking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent host, very personal - owner's daughter helped me to clean the surprise snow off the car we experienced on Sep 8th 2019. Great breakfast with a superb view of the mountains, overall good value, would come again, highly recommend especially if you are looking for the "personal touch".
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The whole team of Hotel Hohe Promenade were excellent hosts at all times. Fulfilling customers every wish and request. The public area, rooms, bathrooms were of recent decoration and very good taste in a contemporary styling with a touch of local materials. Warm colors and ambience in shades of beiges, warm grey and some natural wood features. Everything was absolutely clean, nice and tidy. We appreciated little things like the hand sanitizer station at the entrance to the dining room. I never made the fabulous experience before, that our car was cleared from heavy snow in the parking without even asking for. This is indeed what I call "going the extra mile". Thank you very much for having us in your Winter Wonderland Arosa. Beat & Hannarong Christ, Zürich.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very familiar atmosphere. You feel right at home. Excellent food and very friendly and courteous staff. You are not just a number but a personal guest of the host. Most of the guests I've talked to are regular customers and I can say with certainty that I belong to them now.
Cons: There could be more parking for cars. The few places in front of the hotel are always occupied and you have to park your car in a public car park which is a lot more expensive. But I can not blame the hotel operator as there is simply no room left for more parking.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleased with this hotel. Perfect for couples. Very clean and cosy with a Beautiful view of the mountains.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a family run hotel where all the staff were extremely gracious, kind, pleasant and helpful. It was spotlessly clean and had every amenity in a modest not lavish way. It was a good mix of the interesting old and renovated building. Breakfast was good and supper options were offered such as soups, pasta, spratzel and wines, some local, and beers. The sauna and steam room were excellent for additional payment. The ski room was on the same level as reception, no stairs when fully kitted out! Good heated boot rack. The position was very good for a short walk to the ski lifts and in particular for the children's ski area. We felt most welcome here and would readily go back. Thank you to all the staff!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly family run hotel. Near ski lifts, ski school and places to eat. Nice breakfasts and evening meals snacks in the stubli. The Arosa Sunna IPA and the Roteli cherry schnaps are highly recomended!
5.4 Okay
Cons: Some members of the Staff (the receptionist mostly) seemed to be disturbed from the presence of new clients, being unfriendly and colder then the snow outside. For the internet they give u passwords that expire before u leave the hotel. When u ask another password they look angry at you. If u have 2 gadgets u need 2 passwords.. but you are afraid to ask for the second... And of course, the breakfast is a 2 star quality hotel: no salads, no hot food (with the exception of boiled eggs) and for the veggies ...u can forget about breakfast. I payd for a double room (single use) to get a big bed and i got a big bed but i could sleep on 1/2 of the bed because the other 1/2 was not set up with bed clothes (this has NEVER EVER happend to me before).
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Wifi requires a code per device you use. We got two codes of which one didn't work. Getting a new code was a challenge and worth a discussion instead of a friendly conversation. Being seated at the breakfast table and then moved again was also quite special. Rooms are noisy. Locationwise is quite far out of the centrum. There is a bus which cost you 3 CFH at night, free during the day. The ski slopes/lift are in walking distance.

Pros: Staff is friendly, clean hotel, nicely situated, breakfast is super, restaurant next door and perfect for our dogs!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the clean room, good view and a good breakfast. Staff was very nice and the location is perfect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable rooms.
Cons: Bit of a walk, but free shuttle makes it very convenient.
7.9 Good
Pros: Thumbs up for the flexibility regarding the breakfast. There was a trailrun that day and the hotel offered breakfast from 6.30am instead of 7.30am! Excellent service! Our room was clean, no doubt. But given the price, we would have expected a bit more. A small TV and it was quite dark in the room, otherwise all good! Staff was very friendly!!
Cons: For the price, we would have expected a bit more. The hotel doesn't have any pool nor was the breakfast outstanding. The room was quite dark and the mainlight did not spend too much light.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, good breakfast buffet, very friendly people
Cons: The bathroom could be a bit more spacious
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice bedroom and bed. Breakfast and the breakfast area were very nice as well. Good views. Free shuttle to the train station/ski lift between 8:00 and 13:00
Cons: They simply didn't do the bed one morning, but cleaned the bathroom. Not a big deal, but given the price per night, it doesn't feel too nice or makes sense... The location is not that great as it requires going up and down a hill to reach the lift and it can be slippery. Ski room it is large and nice but it doesn't have boot dryers and at times remains unlocked..
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, very good location
Cons: Breakfast was poor
9.2 Excellent
Pros: this place is very friendly, has simple but very comfortable rooms, a very nice breakfast, and a good restaurant. It's located within walking distance from the gondola (although you might want to take their shuttle if wearing ski boots and carrying skis).

Pros: Amazing location, friendly staff.

Pros: The location of this hotel is fantastic, right near the slopes and ski hire is just a few minutes from the front door. The view from the bedroom was also magnificent.
Cons: Was a little tired in parts.

Cons: Bed was too short for 1,95m height
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is located at the top end of town with breathtaking views of the mountains. We were there in mid June before the summer season started. The walks at that end of town were magnificent.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, old fashioned in a very pleasant way. The huge balcony alone would almost be worthwhile going there. Very friendly people. Are you a lover of Wine? you should defintely choose Alpensonne and have dinner there.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: View from the dining room is something special, great breakfast, friendly welcoming staff, let me use the sauna room to change in on my last day. Close to the piste when finishing up at the end of the day. Suprised the hotel wasn't busier
Cons: Bed was a little soft for me, and the room pretty warm.
