Pros:The location is great. It's on the western edge of town, and just across the street from the lakeshore. The woman working in the office was very polite and helpful when there was an issue with the booking. It felt very safe, and most of the room seemed clean- sheets, sink, etc. Older, but generally comfortable furnishings.
Cons:The wifi was awful. The signal didn't reach most of the room at all, and where it did it was very weak. While most of the room felt clean, there were two exceptions- the windows and window sills were filthy. All sorts of grime and dust frame the beautiful lake view. The shower was also full of mildew- ew. Wash your windows and window sills, scrub your showers, and maybe get a better router or a range extender, and I'll definitely be back!

Pros:THe owner was kind. The pillows were NICE.
Cons:THere was no bathtub (not advertised when I booked). There were two measly thin bars of soap and no shampoo (I was doing very hard, dirty fieldwork and a real tub with sufficient soap and shampoo would have totally changed my review.)

Pros:Location was awesome!
Cons:Motel very dated (light fixtures had duct tape holding lens cover on)! Not very clean. We brought our own blanket in because we didn't want to get under cover! Just a general overall "buggy" feeling! Will NOT stay there again!

Pros:I did like the location and the person running the placed seemed very friendly.
Cons:This room was not very clean and the building is in need of repair. The floor on the corner of the bathroom looked like it was being pushed up from below. The room was very dirty, the windows and A/C unit allowed the smoke from the smokers bench into the room.
