The current climate with rental cars is terrible! To pay over $200 for a one day rental is crazy. Especially now that i have to fight with my KIA to get it covered. This is outrageous but I needed to get home to FL from GA...very disappointed in the industry as a whole.Reviewed 12 Jan. 2022

Rate screwup!!Pros:The fact that AVIS offered a discount to AARP members.Cons:After the agent put in the AARP code, the price jumped from $320/week to over $700!! He promised to fix during the rental pick-up process, even called the manager in our presence who promised to adjust the price to the AARP discounted rate, but he never did. When we returned the car the $700 price was still on the invoice and we're still fighting to get it fixed.....two days later!!! Terrible!!
