9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good as always. Staff are very good and friendly. Look forward to my next stay.
Cons: Room 12 a great little room but finding a used cup and saucer in the bathroom sink was a surprise. Neither rubbish bin had a liner in so didn't use them. Only free electrical sockets under the desk are difficult to access. All minor observations. Food starter olives and breads; served with only one type of bread normally four. Main meal ready before starter finished steak was dried out under the hot lamps. Not the best of my visits but will use again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a lovely place to stay, excellent value for money. A beautiful view with excellent facilities, it was great to have a pool with a proper deep end to do some swimming! Staff were super friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay I’ve been recommending it to everyone :)
Cons: Superb, no complaints
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A very nice hotel with helpful staff and lovely food. Our initial room hadn’t been prepared, but the staff changed us instantly to a better room without excuses or asking us to wait while they sorted it. Basic customer service, I know, but still nice to be treated as a valued guest. There are comfortable places to relax and a great view from the balcony.
Cons: Be prepared, as it is an old building there are a lot of stairs.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and welcoming
Cons: The bar and restaurant were both pricey
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bar food was not to bad. Breakfast was a little sparse on the first day , I don't think there were many quests. Sunday breakfast was fine.
Cons: The room was cold for the first 2 nights, we did report this but nothing changed until someone one else mentioned it on our last night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely stay good room very clean nice friendly staff and good food
5.4 Okay
Pros: Staff did their best but hotel overrun with families for the weekend. Not our idea of a relaxing weekend break.
Cons: Breakfast was inedible, bar was overrun, gym was overly busy. Not the fault of the hotel but had Kayak provided them with our contact details then they could have warned us and we could have changed our plans.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food from the bar, reasonably priced and tasty. Complimentary room upgrade very welcome.
Cons: Only the two singles = double bed idea. Google maps idea to drive several miles down a one track road in the dark. Better to leave at junction 22 of M5 and travel on bigger roads except for the last mile.

Cons: The room we had on the top floor was very tired. The bathroom in particular was not very good. The tiles a grout around the bath & toilet was in a really bad way. There were animal scratch marks on the door.

Cons: Noise from road outside
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Warm atmosphere and staff made us feel welcome.
Cons: We only had 1 towel in our bathroom which I think was an oversight rather than anything else.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast, meals / bar
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location, great food.
Cons: We stayed in the Kingfisher room. This was 1st floor, (no lift) with old single glazed windows that offer no heat or sound insulation. Even worse the room was next to one very noisy large roof top mounted kitchen AHU, though this did go off at 9pm and didn’t go back until 11am. When that went off there was still annoying noise/ frequency coming from other locally mounted units throughout the night. When we were first shown into the room it was cold, the windows were open and the main radiator off. During the night the heating was off and you could feel cold & draughts through the single glazing. Check out was at 11am and the staff knocked on the door exactly at 11am, as we were just about to leave. Yes it is an old building, but secondary glazing or screening can be done to help cold and noise. Offering rooms next to such noisy HVAC equipment at the same rate is really not fair or acceptable. We paid regardless but won’t be back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the little extras you got included in the room. Sweets, nuts and bottled water. Breakfast was brilliant too, got to order what you wanted.
Cons: Room was a little to warm, not too much of a problem though as we turned down the radiators
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was fabulous. The supper and breakfast were delicious.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast (the best Eggs Benedict ever!). Very comfortable room and very friendly staff.

The room was gorgeous, very tastefully furnished and with a super comfy bed. Great bathroom. All immaculately clean with proper sized towels! Magnificent breakfast. 7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly service and convenient location for Bristol Airport
Cons: Steep steps - (couldn't be helped)
5.3 Okay
Pros: convenient location. Nearness of a restaurant.
Cons: Corridors were dark and cold. Rooms very basic
7.3 Good
Pros: We only stayed one night and arrived late but the reception was welcoming and had a great night's sleep due to the absolute silence and nice cool room with a big bed. The view from the restaurant was stunning and we almost wished we could stay longer.
Cons: On arrival at 1.30am we didn't expect so many steps up to reception. It is not as close to the airport as we had imagined.
7.0 Good
Pros: Excellent hotel. Good breakfast. Clean and well fitted room.
Cons: If you book don't stay in Room 5/6. Right outside is the kitchen extractor which comes on early in the morning. Very noisy.Hairdryer in room not working.
6.7 Good
Pros: the best bit only 15 minutes from bristol airport. the room we stayed in was a little tired and could be redecorated. i've had better food in similar style hotels. staff very friendly, pleasant location in countryside
6.4 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and overall good value for money. Food in adjoining Sidcot Arms was very good.
Cons: A rather dingy bedroom. Lighting in the room is very poor. Could have been cleaner. We checked in at almost 4pm and the room was not ready for occupation despite the online information saying that rooms would be available from 2pm. We were then allocated another room.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast - friendly staff. Close to Bristol Airport
Cons: Poor shabby room, room was cold, shower was weak. No facilities for smokers - just a bucket at the end of the car park!
6.4 Good
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Good supper, excellent breakfast.
Cons: Kids sofa bed uncomfortable.
4.8 Okay
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: Car park not well lit at night. Shower did not work properly. Designated smoking area a complete joke - One parking space was used in the car park with a broken umbrella on a table again difficult to find. This space was about 25 yards from the hotel, yet there is a decked area that is on the outside of the hotel which could easily have been used especially as other premier inns that we have stayed in have more user friendly smoking areas set up. Even a member of staff looked embarrassed and agreed that it was in the wrong place. There was no atmosphere and the guy who booked us in had a habit of talking at us and not with us and had a look of a disapointed sales man who had just lost a sale! The view from the bedroom window was non existent - a 4ft wall with trees imeediatley behind left the room dark
7.6 Good
Pros: Staff very helpful
Cons: Bar shut at 11pm
