Pros: Amazing value for money hotel on the edge of a very pretty town. The location couldn't have been any better being easy to find but only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre. A nice meal arrangement with the hospital restaurant that's over the road. I can't imagine there being many better value hotels anywhere.
Cons: Dust on top of the wardrobe. I only found this because I needed somewhere to hang my motorcycle trousers. Other than that this place is perfect.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very old hotel, historical one in the heart of the nice city of Soest
Cons: It is just very complicated for elderly persons, since there is no lift and the stairs are quite sharp, but that's the inconvenience there are no solution for since the building is historically old
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room/suite with wonderful bathroom and enormous bedroom. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding . Excellent value and a beautiful town. We will stay longer next time!
Cons: Our poor German meant we couldn't speak much with the staff - our fault
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super comfy beds, wonderful food, fantastic wine list, friendly and lovely staff. There was wine and toiletries to purchase in the beautiful and large! room. The hotel is steeped in history (it's from 1304) All in all a perfect little place.
7.9 Good
Pros: Well kept hotel in a historic building.
Cons: WiFi was very weak.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast very good and the hotel's traditional, non-chain feel was much appreciated.
Cons: The bar was a bit dull given that a major feature of Gemany for us is pubs like Zwiebel, just down the street in Soest. Pilgrimhaus's drinking area was a somewhat uninviting by comparison which was all the more frustrating given the rest of the building's qualities.
7.9 Good
Pros: Originally we were booked into an attic room in the main building but was hot and cramped so asked to be moved. We were given an appartment about 100m up the road. No extra charges. Staff very helpful. Evening meal excellent.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Luxury room, large and well equipped. A lavish breakfast and good beer offering.
Cons: Being on 2 or 3 sites the layout is a little dis-jointed and the stairs to my room seemed to get steeper every time I climbed them.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very warm welcome and very helpful in storing and cleaning our bicycles. Very helpful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so nice and helpful
Cons: Parking
7.5 Good
Pros: Our room was a very good size. No UK TV programmes unfortunately. Shower very good although we were on top floor without a lift as usual. Dinner at this hotel was very good.
Cons: I'm afraid the breakfast was very bare. We went down at 9am bearing in mind that breakfast was from 7 to 10 we thought there would be a good selection available. Unfortunately, there was no selection and plates were empty and not replenished. Ended up with bread and jam! There is no parking at this hotel - you have a walk to a free public car park - so no security.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The main and maybe only advantage of the hotel is location. It is quite close to the ThermalBad- SolleTherme. 2) The staff was also very friendly and helpful. 3) The breakfast organisation was good and tasty.
Cons: Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with organisation. 1) NO SLEEP. I did not have curtains in my room, so street lightning lamps at night were disturbing me during sleeping, after that I could not fall asleep again. That made me very drowsy(sleepy) next days. 2) The Pillow was also of bad quality, friable and maybe old. It was very uncomfortable in use. 3) Sound isolation was very poor. It was possible to hear all steps on the stairs at night, talking of neighbours and neighbours snoring at night. 4) Swimming pool is very SMALL. Not comfortable to swim in the pool for 2 people, who see each other first and mb last time. 5) Time, when swimming pool and sauna are working, is very short. From 11.00 till 20.00! Thats quite uncomfortable, if you explore the city, nature or therms during the day and can't swim or enjoy sauna before sleeping, bcz it is already closed at 20.00. 6) Wi-fi was fine, but every 5 min you needed to make connection again. In general, I hope, that my feedback can be helpful for travellers and management of the Hotel, so they can take it into consideration and improve the organisation.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is extremely classic. The person in charge was very friendly and helpful. I was checking out late and they kept assuring me there is not a problem with it.
Cons: There is no direct public transport connection to it. But given its location in the middle of the town surrounding with tourist spot, that does not affect much of it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Evening meal - excellent, if a little large. Breakfast - again, excellent with a good choice. Service - very good, friendly, hospitable and helpful. An excellent hotel in which to stay and ear-marked for a future visit
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in the centre of the town within very easy access to shops, restaurants and tourist destinations. The rooms were clean and tidy with en suite shower. Overall, we had a very pleasant few days and would recommend it to friends.

7.9 Good
Pros: Nice hotel
Cons: Restaurant was poor in selection. We didn't find a steak dish menu. The food was not delicious. We were asked 3€ for a sauna, Though the hotel was advertlsed with swimming pool and spa facilities. We were charged 2,5€ as "Kurtax", so why 3€ extra for sauna? annoying...
7.1 Good
Pros: great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, great location.
Cons: Our room was in the old house (historic) number 237. This room was at the very top of the house (attic) and was subject to the afternoon sun. Because of this the room temperature was 30 c with no air con therefore we had to have all the windows open all the time but unfortunately the position of the room was directly above the outside bar and dining area and we were subject to noise disturbance until 2315hrs. If you want a cool peaceful stay then do not accept this room.

Cons: Unadjustable directional shower head

Pros: Very good breakfast
Cons: Rooms nog very bood isolated, I could hear the person in the room next to me snore. My room was in the old building.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool and al fresco dining
Cons: Bit expensive due to a booking mess up with friends. We booked 3 rooms instead of 2 and had to pay 79e for the empty room. As we collectively spent a lot of money there it would have been a noce gesture if they could have done something.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wifi Breakfast

Pros: very helpful and knowledgeable staff
7.9 Good
Pros: We were travelling home because my wife was unwell. Whilst staying at the hotel her condition deteriorated resulting in her being admitted to hospital in Soest. The man on the front desk was extremely helpful to us and went out of his way to ensure that my wife had food and drink which she specifically wanted. We are very grateful to him.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. We were staying during a particularly hot period so fans would have made it a little more comfortable at night. Staff and food was excellent.
Cons: Internet was very poor
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly and rooms clean
Cons: No tea or coffee available in the rooms was our only complaint
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located not far from the motorway. The parking is free The building seems to be of the sturdy German construction, located in a quiet part of the village. The check-in was absolutely great! No doubts there. We had checked in close to 9 pm and the hotel restaurant was slated to take the last order by 9 pm. She had informed them of our arrival and got them to wait!!! This is absolutely brilliant behaviour!!! Things went from good to excellent when we went to the restaurant. The manager was very generous with his time and went over the menu properly with us. The food was tasty, the local beer was brilliant and the service was superb; one cannot ask for more. The rooms are spacious. There is an ante chamber with all the cupboard and then one enters the main room. It is carpeted. The bed was very comfortable, there were packs of haribos waiting for us :-) . The room was very clean. I liked the lighting. There is a fridge in the room. The wet room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was decent and the check out was smooth. The hotel offers a lot of activities, they have some understanding with the local gym, swimming pool, golf course, etc etc. Unfortunately, we had not realised this and had to leave early in the morning, but we look forward to returning and staying there for a few days next time. I wholeheartedly recommend the Hanse and its staff!
Cons: There was some issue with the TV signal, the quality of the images were not that great. May I request the hotel to look into it, please. Apart from that, the stay was perfect.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice service and a very good breakfast.
Cons: At the reservation there was information about the 24-hour reception. Despite arriving at around 10pm, I had to make some calls to get the room key and the reception was closed.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly English speaking staff

7.5 Good
Pros: The garage do the bike was secured
Cons: Nothing lovely and friendly
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The position is excellent, approx. 200m from railway station and at the start of the pedestrian shopping zone. I have stayed there before and would probably again.
Cons: The room was not made up or cleaned for 2 days. Not acceptable. Its not that I am dirty or untidy but, to come back after a day out and find an unmade bed etc!
7.1 Good
Pros: Decent location to explore the town. Large garage area to securely park the motorcycles.
Cons: The hotel like the town is a little run down & could be better. The garage is around the rear of the hotel with a walk around to the front & then 4 flights of stairs to climb is a task when carrying bike luggage & bike gear. The room I had was ready for a refurb. But others had rooms already refurbished. Their is a bar under a number of rooms so be aware of noise from this.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Centre of Soest. Close to the train station.
Cons: Not a negative, just a note that sat-nav is not great at finding the hotel due to one way and pedestrian streets. I parked in a nearby car park.
7.5 Good
Cons: There is no parking space
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Continental breakfast was adequate with coffee refills if required. The hotel was in an excellent position for the station and for the shops and restaurants in Town.
Cons: The only down side we could think of was that there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room or in the hotel other than what is served at breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was very nice, bathroom roomy but mirror had light right where your eyes are so a little difficult to see.
Cons: The mirror

5.4 Okay
Pros: The location, the staff
Cons: The room to the street, no AC, no mosquito-nets for the windows, the carpets, the sloppy renovation work, the shower-head, the non-functioning lamps, the air-quality in the whole building
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a great location and a good hotel.
Cons: Often not enough staff to fill all the need.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The building looks great from the outside and it was quite busy on arrival. Car park had plenty spaces and check in was good. We asked to see the menu for the restaurant but were told it was only a buffet this evening with only 4 options. We were disappointed and left the hotel to get something to eat. We chose the hotel due to there being a restaurant on site. Bedrooms modern but ok
Cons: No restaurant food available apart from 4 options for buffet. Bedrooms were needing a good clean. There was a large spill mark on the wall next to the bed, see photo. The shower curtain was also dirty and had soap scum marks on it. Extra pillows would have been a good choice and also the use of a thin sheet due to the extra hot weather conditions as we had to take the duvets off the bed.
7.1 Good
Pros: We were able to go in the room very early (around 10:30) and an extra travel bed for the baby was foreseen as requested. First not so friendly when we arrived so early but it was announced with the booking with intension to leave the luggage in the hotel. General, good hotel with all basic needs.
Cons: After 1st night I received a phonemail from the hotel that we only booked 1 night and not 2. It was a big argue and phoned back to rectify there mistake. Not so friendly. No apologies. Staf is speaking German even you speak English to them.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Also there is nice hotel garden you can relax or work or whatever.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, good shower.
Cons: No air conditioning, pillow too soft.
7.9 Good
Pros: Accurate description of the room. Great location close to the motorway.
7.5 Good
Cons: They asked me to pay for our stay that night to avoid a queue in the morning which I did, only to find out that they didn't include the drinks we put on our room I had to pay again
8.3 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was great, and the locations was good
Cons: nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: With ample free parking the hotel is situated opposite the walls of the old town and you can reach the centre on foot within 5-10 minutes. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: The room was extremely small - more suitable for one person and the décor was 1970s brown, although I think they were updating some of the rooms.
