Pros: Beautiful old house, we had a pleasant, large room with a sitting area and a nice bath up a few stairs. Owner was very helpful and informative and gave my wife a mini tour which she loved. Arriving by car was not too difficult, we parked in a no parking area to unload our luggage and was directed to a parking lot 4 minutes walk away which was free. Ubeda is beautiful and on the edge of a lovely olive growing region.
Cons: Breakfast somewhat limited. No views out very old windows which could have let in street noise except there wasn't any, Ubeda is quiet at night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A little gem, an traditional house where the host shares 4 bedrooms and they live on the floor above, use of their lounge. Parking discount in a nearby car park, with ticket from host
Cons: Nothing loved it all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One stays in the owners OWN HOME. The level of care he shows to the proerty AND his guests is terrific
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful historical palace from 1700's. It's a piece of art itself, worth a prolonged visit, you will stay in an authentic room of ancient times noble family. The host is gentle and helpful, and if asked will suggest you the best tapas restaurants in town (and they are great). The position is central, you can't ask for more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the art and interesting rooms throughout the hotel. Our room was large and comfortable. We were able to chill out with a glass of wine in the courtyard. The delicious breakfast offered every kind of choice. Our host graciously explained about historical features of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There are only 3 rooms in this lovely hotel. The building is 250 years old, and the decor reflects that. The house has always belonged to the same family, and the owner lives in the premises. The room was huge, and there was a big bathroom with a tub. Breakfast was nice. A couple of minutes walk to the old town.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The two words that best sums up Hotel Ordonez Sandoval are 'authentic' and 'gracious'. The hotel is the family home of your host - and is furnished to a high standard with authentic family furniture. The building is a large professional person's house renovated in the 19th century. The rooms are large, very comfortable and elegant. This is not an ultra-modern new building thrown up behind an old facade; it is an old building that has been tastefully modernised. The complimentary breakfast was a good Spanish-style buffet and a great way to start the day. The hotel location is ideal - just inside the old town (so within easy walking distance of all the main sights) but lose to the Plaza Andaluzia (and its underground car park at which hotel guests obtain a discount). An easy walk with the suitcases.
Cons: Nothing - it was fabulous!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The antiques, the ambience, the welcome, the house, the location, the breakfast
Cons: Can’t think of anything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A authentic period home with original interior decor maintained and restored for us to enjoy. The host was genially proud of his heritage home, he was friendly, helpful and informative. The town a gem with many eateries and not so touristy.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent

9.2 Excellent
Pros: I can only concur with the other comments, characterful, full of antiques and aged splendour. Amazing value for money and you get to stay overnight inside a building that you'd ordinarily have had to pay money for a half an hour tour of.
Cons: Parking around the hotel isn't an issue but managing to get close enough to unload heavy bags was awkward though there was a festival on at the time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners live there and from the minute we arrived we were treated to the place being our home. The building and the rooms were delightful, and the atmosphere was great. Breakfast was excellent. The gardens and the public (family) rooms were lovely. I've stayed in the Parador before, but this will be my first choice on any return to Úbeda.
Cons: Nothing! I liked it all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing atmosphere in a 16th century palace
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room, spacious , atmospheric in all respects Location of the hotel in the old town perfect for sightseeing, discounted car parking very close to hotel. Tapas bars in Calle Real - very close Restaurant walking distance Cantina de Estacion - like being on the Orient Express ! Amazing food- great evening
7.5 Good
Pros: Tony and the owner were wonderful, welcoming and expert at helping us in and out of the VERY tight space in the garage. The Palacio is packed full of charm and we had a lovely though brief stay. Úbeda is a gret place to stroll round too, so many wonderful buildings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was as if the noble family still lived there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This whole experience was stunning. Rosa greeted me like an old friend, gave me her mobile number in case of need at any time, and told me she hoped it would feel like home. The building is gorgeous and furnished with real character. Rooms are just lovely and look out onto leafy courtyards - perfect for peaceful reading in the sun. Lots of nice touches, too, tea/coffee and snacks, a bowl of sweets in the room. This really felt like staying in a palace, a private home, and not a hotel. And that's very special. I was sorry to only be staying one night but this place is reason enough on its own to return for a second visit to Ubeda. Thank you!
Cons: If you really want a Corby trouser press and a 24hr reception desk this isn't for you. Otherwise this place is faultless.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The perfect breakfast in a building & your room (with its high coffered ceiling, chandelier & Juliet window) which feel like Spain of 100 years ago, with Rosa & Tony as your congenial & welcoming hosts.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rosa and Tony are both wonderful
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying here was a great experience. The palace and its furnishings are a treat. All that we had expected and more. Great atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Given that this is a clearly a very old building, we were not expecting much of the bathroom but it was spacious and very well equipped. The breakfast was excellent. There is free parking a couple of hundred meters away from the palace.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Great location, free parking on the street, spacious room and bathroom, very clean. The owner was as helpful as a friend, even walked me to the local churrería. Always gave advice on where to visit and best route to get there. I will definitely use this hotel again if I travel anywhere within easy driving distance from Baeza.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was travelling by bicycle and got there an hour before check in, I was leaving a. Orr to say I would return and the owner came out and checked me in. You could not ask for a nicer guy and the place looked brand new. Everything was so good. And being just a short walk to the center made the hotel nice and quiet!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in a quiet street with parking close by but a quick walk to all the sites. Spotlessly clean rooms and very comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Two of the nicest, most helpful hosts we met on a 25-day trip through Spain; very comfortable and modestly priced accommodations, adorned with the host's oil paintings; within reasonable walking distance of town and restaurants
Cons: We wish there had been on-site parking, but the street parking was adequate and free
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, only ten to twenty minutes to the sights, room was neat and tidy, very clean. Owner was very helpful ,thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be returning again this year.
Cons: Parking was a bit difficult but the owner asked a neighbor if I could park outside their house easy for a motorbike, I would imagine bit more difficult for a car.
Hotel Afan de Rivera - Úbeda - Building

Overview Reviews
A stay at Hotel Afan de Rivera places you in the heart of Ubeda, steps from Casa de las Torres and 3 minutes by foot from Casa Museo Arte Andalusi. Featured amenities include a safe deposit box at the front desk and an elevator (lift).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, nicely decorated room. Very convenient to downtown.
Cons: Free parking was a little distance away. The hotel could provide more info on arrival, where to unload and how to park. To just say no parking available is not sufficient.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location for the monuments and local restaurants. Lovely old house with antiques. Pleasant and friendly reception. Safe nearby parking
Cons: Breakfast could have offered healthier options, fruit, yoghurt, museli etc
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, very near all the attractions. Easy parking nearby. Friendly staff, old style hotel, but in a good way, lots of history in the building.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel in a medieval home in the spectacular Renaissance town of Ubeda. I stayed in the single room which is likely the most basic room in the hotel, but was very comfortable with European decor and a great bathroom. This hotel also had the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel, bar none. What stands out for me however with this stay was Lorenzo's INCREDIBLE kindness and helpfulness when this bonehead's rental car was towed (it was Semana Santa and parking was at hard to find in Ubeda, but I still should have known better). Lorenzo drove me to the police station, helped me pay the fine, drove me to the impound lot and waited with me for the police to come and spring my car. I never would or could have expected this, but I can't even begin to say how grateful I was (and still am). I had a wonderful trip traveling all over Spain but I think that Lorenzo's kindness is going to be one of my fondest memories, even if it was a result of my stupidity. GRACIAS LORENZO - I hope to stay with you again in Ubeda, maybe not during Semana Santa!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kind and hospitable hosts who provided an early breakfast when we had an early bus to catch. Very old and unusual building in a beautiful town.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stylish & old fashioned high quality service. Great location, comfortable bed, good shower - everything you'd want at excellent value. Really enjoyed the breakfast which was centred around artisan embutidos, jamones, quesos, etc. This may not be to everyone's taste or dietary requirement, but I loved it. Already planning our return.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Hair in the shower. Small tv. No window. No breakfast service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is so beautiful, clean and well managed, I don't think it gets more lovely then this. The breakfast was fit for a queen!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very helpful and considerate. The breakfast was delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jorge and his nephew, Lorenzo, were kind, generous and very friendly. The place itself is very interesting and the atmosphere was calm and cozy. The breakfast was the best I've had in Spain. It's not often that a 'single' room is as nice as the one at this hotel. There was a problem with my single bed, but I was generously upgraded to an available better room. I would highly recommend Hotel Afan de Rivera.

Cons: Parking difficult
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Great location. Excellent price. Fantastic to have the use of a pool with an excellent bar too.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: For a Spanish hotel, this was extremely quiet. The door fitted properly, which helps, and the TV noise from the bar didn't reach us. The breakfast set-up was simple and decent value. The bed was comfortable but it did have nasty sharp corners on the legs which were almost designed to catch your shins as you moved around the room. As other reviewers have noted, the rooms are small (smaller than they appear in the wide-angle lens pics). However - there was so much plastic waste built in: The soaps and shampoos, which could have been in a dispenser, were in hard-to-open sachets (truly impossible with wet hands) and if you didn't use them all, the rest would leak away - wasted. Vast amounts of plastic, from the sachets to the plastic bags on each water cup would be thrown away. This really is not tenable or sustainable, and would put me off returning.
Cons: see points about plastic waste
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent customer service, especially for the morning breakfast. One of our guests is celiac and they went out of their way to even clean a toaster for us with gluten-free options. The bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable. Bathroom was large and everything needed was supplied. Also, there was AC in the room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room and shower, the food and the staff. Superb location.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our bedroom was nice and big. The bathroom was on a first level and you need to go down some stairs to reach the bed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was big. The hotel is well located, close to Ubeda's main places to visit. .
Cons: You need to go down some stairs to reach the bed from the bathroom; this is not a problem by itself but if you have mobility problems could affect you. Breakfast was very basic.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very very nice...feeling like family... breakfast great .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: nice location and very nice hospitality
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Right in the centre of this beautiful old town. Historical building that has been very well developed for modern accommodation. Comfortable, spacious room with good air conditioning. Friendly and helpful host and hostess. English speaking hostess. Private, secure parking close-by for which it is well-worth paying the extra. You can stop outside the hotel to check-in and unload. The host will then take you to the closed garage. Surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops so perfect for exploring the town and having an evening out.
Cons: Difficult to find, even with Sat Nav. Some of the no entry signs in the centre of town refer to people with no right of access so you can ignore them to find the hotel. There is one sign to the hotel but more would be useful. And this is an old town so you need to feel comfortable driving through narrow streets. Wouldn't be that easy in a big 4x4 or a limo! Shower over the bath in our room worked well but the bath was incredibly slippery. Could easily be resolved with a non-slip surface in the bath. Wi-fi a bit weak in our room but only to be expected in an old building.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was very good. We have the room above the street so it was nice to observe some activity below. It was near all the historic monuments and the tapas restaurants.
Cons: The parking was a little stressful because there was no parking along the street so we have to park quite far at the parking lot. We had to check out in the rain so it was challenging.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great very central . And the owners where really helpful by telling us what to see.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cosy hotel. Very nice rooms. Frienly staff. Perfect location.
Cons: Nothing

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, the room was clean and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and we were lucky to get a parking spot in the hotel carpark. There is a public carpark a short walk from the hotel as well. Baeza is a really lovely place to visit. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and we had the best (free) tapas of our whole trip! During July and August it is very quiet with hardly any tourists. Of course it's hot, but so are Seville and Cordoba and they are still busy during the summer months. We loved it and will definitely be back.
Cons: Nothing, all good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. Huge bathroom with excellent water pressure. Soothing views to the cloister from your room. You can also enjoy them at the bar.
Cons: Nothing to comment.

Pros: Central location, close to monuments and restaurants. Hotel parking was cheap and staff was friendly. The rooms was clean and the air conditioning worked like a charm.
Cons: Wi-Fi didn't work. Parking spaces are very limited (about 15x for 80+ rooms), car park access is quite tricky and you can end up scratching your vehicle quite easily.

Cons: Parking options.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Garage access a little difficult.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location very good.perfect for sight seeing. Good bars nearby.
Cons: The car park was too tight for a large car. Scraped on entrance Should have warned me local parking nearer would have been better option.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast buffet decent but a 4-star hotel should offer freshly-squeezed juice (especially not orange juice from a machine dispenser). No complimentary bottle of water. Shower is located in the bathtub which does not contain an anti-slip mat or anything to hold on to when exiting the bathtub. Both the closet & safety deposit box are placed in an awkward position which gets very little light. You are basically fidgeting around in semi-darkness.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great building (who doesn't love staying in a palace?) and a very comfortable room. Location was perfect for me - 10mins walk from the bus station, a few seconds' walk in the other direction to a lovely local bakery for excellent simple breakfasts with the locals, 2 minutes to the main square.
Cons: Somehow in the process of turning this into a hotel it's become rather corporate. Yes everything works efficiently, but the place rather lacks personality. Bedroom furnishings were very bland (though the bathroom was lovely). 9euros for breakfast is a bit cheeky, too (I declined, my 2 euro option at the bakery was perfect).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old building with lovely antique furnishings. Incredible interior atrium. Room was spacious and elegant.
Cons: Nothing! We loved it

Pros: Great setting - central architecture of the dining room. Location next to town center. Great breakfast. Quiet room.
Cons: Parking not available (but public parking nearby).
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel building was a former palace. When you look up the ceiling at the reception, you will be back to the time when the city had been flourished.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is the best
Cons: bar or tapas area would be nice
7.9 Good
Pros: The actual building itself
Cons: No window in the room, only on the corridor of the court yard. They have no credit cards facilities so only cash is accepted≥ . Only Spanish speaking was available.

Pros: Breakfast was good Spanish style not hot but everything fresh and tasty The ancient house is fabulous When we arrived the owners son was having a birthday lunch, we were immediately invited.
Cons: I have no criticism at all

Pros: The Palace is astonishing. The atmosphere is so beautiful that we felt that we could live all our life there. the staff is very kind and warm. the bedroom and toilete were great and everything was so clean. The breakfast was also great. we felt that the price was cheap for the beauty and excellence of everything. we will come back for sure. Thank you so much for the beautiful moments in the Palace. Heinrich and Joana Stammen
Cons: everything was perfect. Perfect.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location and is comfortable but not four stars.
Cons: This hotel does not deserve the four stars displayed and does not represent good value for money.

Pros: Super refurbishment of an old convent. Stunning atrium over the old cloisters.
Cons: Parking is a distance away- OK if it is fine!

Pros: Modern hotel within a medieval setting
Cons: Difficult to find parking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly. Location. Underground Car park in plaza Andalucia- get a reduction from hotel when check in !
Cons: No English speaking tv channel - we wanted to hear about the disgusting mess the UK government were making over the horrible Brexit.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect (aside from a dodgy shower head). The three different members of staff on duty during our stay were all very nice indeed. The pool is perfectly cool for a hot July and the bar service great. Great location too. Free parking close by but we opted to park a short walk away on the edge of town. Would definitely return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: .all
Cons: Only remark - they did not serve proper coffee at breakfast although they have the espresso machine
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Recently built / renovated hotel. Receptionist was very nice. Room was very clean and neat. Lobby was also very nice - and they even had a fireplace with real wood fire going (it was a rainy and cold day). They should mention that there is a free parking slot in 20 meters down the road. In the old town there aren't many free parking places.
Cons: Our friends did not have water bottle in the room as we did. Why? The shower head in our room leaked water - no big deal. Mentioned that to the receptionist when we checked out. Breakfast wasn't excellent - we missed vegetables (salads, tomatoes, cucumber etc) and eggs + bacon. But for this price we kinda expected that this might not be the best breakfast. It was ok and the breakfast room was again very clean. We had rain early in the morning and we could hear the water running down in the pipes so the building was not perfect - but this was not a big issue either.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very kind and usefull. The room was nice and comfortable. Also the cleanliness of the hotel was very good.
Cons: The Hotel doesn't have private parking. Although public parkings are available nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed, friendly. Didn't try the food.
Cons: Outdoor pool was miniscule, ok to cool off but not for a decent swim.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Only stayed for one night and I will definitely come back here for a longer stay and enjoy the pool which looked very tempting !
Cons: We would have liked to see more fruits on the breakfast table

Pros: The location was excellent and the staff very competent and friendly.

When you a stay at Hotel María de Molina in Ubeda, you'll be in the historical district, just steps from Alfareria Tito and Ubeda Town Hall. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect - many sites were merely steps away! The best water pressure ever in the shower
Cons: The air conditioning could not keep up - however it was over 100F so that could be why.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Looking forward to a hot bath after day of sightseeing, water Luke warm.In the morning water ran cold in the sink.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, beautiful room. Very confortable.
7.5 Good
Pros: Ubeda has a lovely old town when you find it, they really do maintain the area well. This hotel is amongst the old architecture and fits in beautifully. The receptionist was great and explained how to get in and out at night when they lock the front door, we found a restaurant called Bar El Mano nearby where we possibly had one of the best meals of our life. The breakfast is possibly a bit pastry heavy, but maybe I was just lucky
Cons: Unfortunately I have had to mark the hotel down for the bathroom. There was a large oval bath, as this is a large if slightly awkward shape bathroom, so could be fantastic , but the shower screen was very rusty and there were cracks in the tiling , sealant etc all round the bath area. The bedroom needed a little attention around electrical sockets, which was a shame as amazing view over the square and large room.
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent location and friendly personnel
Cons: No Inter in the rooms end though it was advertised in their web site. Also, the international in the reception was very weak and working intermittently The water in the shower was either too hot or too cold, I could never make it work properly
6.3 Good
Pros: Location!
Cons: Could not get hot water in the bathroom; just lukewarm.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Thés wap e feta on thé place with noise in thé night
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness of room.
Cons: We weren't offered any cooked breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Historic building . Stall very helpful and good breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful small hotel in former private home that an integral part of this enchantingly preserved and restored small , mostly Renaissance town. Quiet, historic, without too many tourists (in October). Somehow the tasteless touristy intrusions of 21st century have been restrained or kept out completely—unlike so many other towns in Andalucia. Fine breakfast.
Cons: Nothing to not like. Furnishings a little worn, but that just adds to the atmosphere. We found street parking, but imagine parking might be challenging in high season.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great little hotel !

Pros: Superb location, fantastic buildings - the photos do not do it justice !
Cons: Small car park so be prepared for on street parking which is plentiful and close by. If you have a big car you will find the narrow streets by the hotel a challenge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel, with an Italian style - centrally located with private parking. Fantastic pool, fabulous food and such friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like about this hotel and would highly recommend it to visitors to baeza.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is good/excellent unless you want lots of cooked food.
7.9 Good
Pros: Perfect location in the old town. All facilities are available. Bar, restaurant. We stayed in room 310 which was excellent. Also in town are plenty bars and restaurants. Great stay.
Cons: Parking is difficult. You need to walk about 200 meters. There is a small garage available that requires good parking skills and costs €16,50 a night. Service in the restaurant is fine. The quality of the food was not so good. The lambrack was fat and the tuna too well done.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was excellent in the central part of the old city. It was a large hotel with a nice courtyard and pool and big room and bathroom. The buffet breakfast was very good. Two good thing about the dinner was the wait staff and the house wine by the glass.
Cons: I hardly slept because I was itchy in their bed. Unsure what was biting me. Not mosquitos. The hotel is in very narrow streets of the old city. We couldn't get the car to the hotel door and the man at reception was very unhelpful with directions. I asked about the hotel parking which I requested on booking.com and he told me that parking was 16 euros and then told me the name of the street to park in near the hotel. When I was struggling in the hotel doorway with the bags as my husband couldn't turn into the street so we unloaded the bags and I took them to the hotel. Then a woman realised what was going on, spoke good English and kindly showed my husband the hotel car park. At no time was there an offer to help with the bags to our room etc. One towel in the bathroom. Air conditioning worked in one section of the suite (not the bedroom). We also ate at the hotel, their fixed price menu. Not great. My entree was meant to be King prawns on spinach with egg. It was a big serving of soggy spinach with an egg and small prawns that I would guess had been frozen. Main meal was lamb in it's own juice. It was slow cooked lamb covered with really bad gravy. Dessert was meant to be a flan with baileys. It was like a creme caramel with a very mild baileys flavour. No wonder we were the only guests in the restaurant.
7.5 Good
Cons: The room had a bath in place but only the shower worked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good with a wide range of dishes. Spacious room and very comfortable. Nice swimming pool in courtyard. Very central to visit this old town.
Cons: No particular dislikes.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The pool closed at 8pm and opened at 11am. We had assured the 4 children they could swim at the hotel - unfortunately, we checked in right at 8pm and check out is 12pm. If we had known the pool closed at 8pm - we would have arranged to arrive earlier to take advantage of swim time
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful building, friendly staff
Cons: Pillows were too hard but that's personal. Very badly isolated in terms of noise (water and voices)
6.3 Good
Pros: The architecture and the bed.
Cons: A/C was unusable because of the noise it made. Elevator door didn't work properly. No desk/work space in the room. Poor lighting in the bathroom.

Pros: Classy historical building. Great view. Silence. Charming town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a gem: beautiful building, very tasteful communal spaces and absolutely stunning views. Very well run by very friendly and caring people. Restaurant on site (not open every day) offers very good menu. We also liked the breakfast. All round one of the best places we have ever stayed at.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Beautiful Rennaisance building with a historic feel. Wonderful view looking over valley. Pleasant and helpful staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Exquisite hotel, wonderful views, friendly staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming hotel and we'll placed in Úbeda.
Cons: For improvement purposes I would recommend longer Breakfast time by 30 more minutes.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect complete with spectacular far-reaching views across the valley. Set in a quiet position yet only a few minutes stroll from many of the fantastic buildings, cafe's and bars that Ubeda has to offer, it made for the ideal place to stay. We arrived in August so temperatures were in the high 30's but being able to park the car right outside the door meant that getting from car to room with luggage was easy. We simply left the car where it was and did the rest of our exploring on foot. Free parking for the duration, so happy days! The small but perfectly adequate pool was a welcoming site after a day's ambling around and most of the time, it wasn't busy. Talking of cooling off, the water cooler located in the foyer was a nice touch. Great for refilling water bottles before venturing out and In addition, adequate A/C meant that all areas of the hotel - including rooms - remained nice and cool. Although we didn't eat in the hotel, the menu looked tempting and the restaurant itself - with outside tables overlooking those great views - appeared to be busy.
Cons: While this was a good hotel in terms of location and value for money, the room although perfectly adequate and clean was a little tired and needed a little updating. There were several cracked tiles in the bathroom for example and one of the light switches was somewhat worse for wear. In addition the pool and terrace area had some gorgeous planting but was sadly a little overgrown and a couple of the poolside tables had also seen better days. All that said, it's nothing that a handyman couldn't 't put right with just a few hours of time invested . Get these finer details right and this hotel has all the makings to be one of the best in the area.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable room, very spacious, big bathroom, very close to the town center, there is a terrace with a nice view, a small swimming pool, paid safe parking, although there are plenty of spaces outside the hotek
Cons: The receptionists don't know English, but we managed to understand each other, we room next door was with a shared door, maybe not isolated enough and we could hear everything the people were talking,
7.1 Good
Pros: A nice roof terrace and swimming pool. Good location a few minutes walk from the old town centre.
Cons: No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Both restaurants were closed on the Wednesday evening that we stayed. You had to go down to the ground floor to get drinks if you were on the roof terrace, there was no bar service.
7.9 Good
Pros: Easy to find, very nice room and amazing terace.
Cons: Our room faced the road where all trafic in and out drives by + the lights lighting up the facade were outside our window.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The place is ok, but I expected more of a 4 stars hotel
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast buffet was nice quality & decent choice but the coffee machine coffee was not good - you can buy a freshly made one at the bar for 1.25€ The bar prices were reasonable and there is a menu of snacks available throughout the day It is a about ten minutes to walk to the main old market square where there are plenty of places to eat & drink and if you want to visit the old university & cathedral which are beautiful.
Cons: Restaurant is only open at weekends not during the week, which is when we stayed but there is plenty of choice within easy walking distance. I fancied having dinner on the roof terrace but couldn't.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good selection for continental breakfast - a few warm items. Roof top pool was a 'forgotten' bonus after a long hot drive - especially as we were allowed to use it even tho we arrived a little bit after it usually closes - Thankyou - Would visit again
Cons: Nothing really to dislike - my main item on my wish list is tea/coffee facilities in the room but a lot in Spain now dont seem to cater for that.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a superb location, just on the approach to the town, with views over the countryside. It's about a 10-minute walk into the town. There is plenty of free parking just outside the hotel so we had no need to use the hotel garage. The staff were friendly and check-in was super quick. The room was spacious, had a very comfortable bed and a good shower. The aircon was reasonably good but we needed to ask for an additional card so that we could leave it on for a couple of hours in the evening as the temperatures were so high. The hotel has a small swimming pool on the roof and a lovely terrace where you can relax and look out over the campo. It's just a pity that there is no bar on the terrace as it would have been a nice place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Excellent hotel at a very reasonable price.
Cons: Everything was good. Our one small complaint was that the pillows were very hard even though the bed was comfortable. And, of course, the absence of any service on the terrace.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: good, i missed the hot selection due to not looking properly, my wife and kids all found it though and really enjoyed it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view from this hotel over the Vista is incredible and no other hotel in Baeza could possibly have a better view. The hotel is stylish and clean with helpful staff. It is in a convenient location to the Old Town and the restaurants of Baeza.
Cons: There is a restaurant on site but it only serves breakfast (an excellent value European breakfast), it would be great to be able to enjoy a meal overlooking the vista, however there are some great options only a few minutes walk away.
7.5 Good
Pros: The view was amazing and the location to town made it easy to walk and see all the sights.
Cons: The decor in the rooms was very dark and outdated.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing. Double bed in one area and a further part of the room with a sofa. There was a balcony opposite the bed and a big window opposite the sofa. And there were pillars!
Cons: This isn't really what I didn't like, but worth noting. Ubeda is quite big. In the end we drove to the central parking in the Plaza de Andalusia to have a look around. Parking was definitely a bit iffy near the hotel, but we did find somewhere for free. Biggest moan was no chairs on the balcony. We improvised. Once again this is probably our fault, but our satnav took us on a merry dance. There is a street and a plaza, but you need to be in simple Andalucia.

7.1 Good
Pros: Modern furniture in an old building. Good price for money taking into account that breakfast was included
Cons: The room was extremely cold even with the heating on. The bathroom is not separated from the room so you get all the humidity in the room when you have a shower.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast average.
Cons: Hotel tired and grimy, paint peeling and badly sealed tiles, broken lights, jets on jacuzzi were filthy. Water went from hot to cold in shower which you have to hold by hand. Not a suite by anyone's standards. Whole hotel could do with a wash and repaint. Receptionist surly and not friendly. Expensive for a hotel that is below the standard of any I have stayed in.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location for exploring Baeza, quiet, within easy walking distance of the bus station.
Cons: Lighting in room was inadequate.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly situated near the city centre. Small pool which was great for cooling off after a day spent sightseeing. Baeza is a great base for visiting Ubeda, Cazorla, & Baeza itself. The rooms were very good & spotless. It’s an old building with lots of original features, but with modernised rooms.
Cons: The bathroom was a bit disconcerting.....too many mirrors & clear glass to be private.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were helpful and friendly. Car parking was easy in the street just along from the hotel. The room was quite quirky with the bedroom on a mezzanine level.
Cons: No room safe. Bath took ages to fill because the only means is by using the shower rose. TV controller was defective and couldn't be used.
