8.3 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional coffee, basic breakfast, tasty dinner with varied dishes served in an elegant restaurant. Bathrobes and slippers provided in the room. Warm water in the indoor pool I think this hotel is a good option for families with children.
Cons: Unexpectedly small room, definetely not 18sm as stated on the site. We had to keep our luggage under the bed. Old and broken furniture. Hard to fall asleep because of the noise from the river in front of the hotel. Hard to relax at the pool because there were too many kids.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: 1. Access to the thermal pool ( don’t forget a headcap) 2. Excellent breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The outdoor hot thermal water pool was great. Rooms comfortable, free drinks in fridge. Excellent hotel service.
Cons: a bit busy in holiday period
7.9 Good
Pros: Really nice swimming pool. A bit a pity it opens only at 9:30 in the morning, as a swim before breakfast could have been great
Cons: Not easy to find the parking ... should probably be better highlighted, that the entrance to the big parking is also hotel parking.
6.3 Good
Cons: The cost for lunch and dinner
7.9 Good
Pros: Good Location, with large parking and friendly staff. Room was comfortable and with complete amenities (including bathrobe).
Cons: Very crowded pool area, SPA would cost extra (15€ per person), breakfast room was very crowded and noisy.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The rooms are tooo hot! And the temperature does not go down even if you change it. Impossible to breath:( the rest is good though
6.3 Good
Pros: Swimming pool is great, the surroundings and the old village is great, friendly staff but only the receptionist speaks english.
Cons: Old hotel, facilities from 30 years ago, awful food.
7.9 Good
Pros: Thermal baths and spa area are spectacular. Kneipp pools with Finnish sauna, too! Loved being able to enter the thermal pool both days even we stayed only night. A great advantage to staying at the hotel.
Cons: Booked a room for 3 (3 single beds) - it was very cramped. Was sure I'd booked a larger room... Didn't like lining up for the buffet dinner and only one dish appealed - will go out next time.
7.9 Good
Pros: All the staff we talked to were very kind and helpful. There are some nice walks in the area that make the return to the hotel nice. The food is plentiful and good at both breakfast and dinner (with gratis white and red wine on tap). The pool is nice and can be tiring for other folks due to the heat.
Cons: After three nights of ZERO air conditioning during a warm spell, even after contacting the staff about the lack, three separate times, there was nothing appreciable done- only excuses by various folks when we told them so. Having to pay for towels (3Euro per person) for the pool is not common for what we have seen. Considering we booked4 months in advance and requested a room with a balcony, bath and a good view, we had none of the above, or even an offer of upgrading, only when we brought this to management did we get some understanding. At that, we got a terrace room with a large, unclean, unfurnished terrace. We hate to complain but there was reason, it was like the entire upkeep staff were two months late on everything...
Balneum Boutique Hotel & B&B - Bagno Di Romagna - Building

8.6 Excellent (644 reviews)

7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel looks nice in general and breakfast is quite good. Staff was friendly and location was perfect for us.
Cons: They say it's a boutique hotel and that's why rooms are different and etc, but in reality the quality of some bedrooms are poor (not only the style). My room was super small with a tiny bathroom, whilst my friend's room was more spacious and much nicer. My parents stayed in a room that had no aircon and was unbearable during the day (it was like 35 degrees). We booked standard bedrooms and I understand they are simpler. However, I believe there's room for improvement.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good choice of cereals at breakfast. Very clean room and bathroom tastefully done.
Cons: A couple of hooks in the bathroom would be useful to hang wet towels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is clean and the staff very friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it was just really good
Cons: A sign visible from road by a driver would be good. sight of costs for meal would have been good but the costs were fine
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I know the hotel is a spa hotel but It should have a swimming pool for children, and all included.
5.4 Okay
Cons: I booked this hotel due to spa however it was closed for “cleaning”
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The room was cold as well as the entire hotel including breakfast room despite minus degree outside. Breakfast was just "sad". Atmosphere was rather dark as hotel was completely empty (other hotels in town were busy).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location. The room was nicely furnished.
Cons: The keys for accessing the rooms should be replaced by badges.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place has personality and a lot of charme. Every detail is arranged to create harmony. The staff is attentive, warm, and very professional.
7.5 Good
Pros: Position
Cons: I had to leave after the first of 2 booked nights and for the owners there was no possibility of refunding. They told me this is not possible with booking.com This was not confirmed by booking.com. The hotel was ok but nothing special

6.7 Good
Pros: The quality of hotspring.
Cons: There is not a parking lot for the guest.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful thermal pool, beautiful place, very nice and smily staff!
Cons: The room was quiet small but it has everything! Very big bathroom!
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good for some items (homemade pastries for example) and average on others. SPA was easily reachable from our room without having to exit the building. SPA was nice, thermal pool with all sorts of bubbly goodness for back and limbs. The "cave" was a high temperature steam bath which helped get rid of toxins and was very relaxing. The property seemed well equipped for massage and other SPA related necessities but we did not use them so I cannot make any comment. It is important to know that all thermal water is as nature offers, all the best for your body and soul. Air conditioning in the room and bathroom was nice. Little safe was also available along with mini-minibar. Surroundings were very quiet and rest came easy.
Cons: Size of our double room was just enough for us to move around with the suitcase open (we had to use the only chair to keep suitcase open and off the ground) - other than that I cannot say anything negative.
