I do not recommend this hostel for women who travel alone, because the street is super dark and empty at night, and I was afraid to be late. the reception staff does not speak any English and they are not friendly, that is, if you need directions in the city you will not have it. they ask to leave the key in the rececao because they clean the room (the keys are not in a safe place, and if by chance someone picks up their key by mistake, they do not take responsibility for their belongings) we left the key and the room was dirty, she dropped the bathroom trash on the floor and did not remove (cotton swabs, dirty toilet paper, bed poorly spread). the breakfast is horrible, it pays to take it somewhere else. We traveled to whole Thailand and all wonderful hostels, but this was horrible.

The location is nice. First, you can get easily to any major landmarks. Secondly, the hotel is situated in a very quite street so you are away from the buzz of Bangkok. The hotel looks very cosy, bright and comfortable. The problem is that it only looks like that.

Wifi didin't work in the room. The connection is good only at the reception. The bathroom is so small that you can't even turn around. And if you bend down, you will definitely bang your head against the wash basin. There was no shampoo or shower gel, just soap and toothbrushes. The breakfast was so poor that it's better not to pay for it when booking a room in this hotel. It includes toast and coffee. You have to pay for the fried or scrambbled eggs. Moreover, there are some restrictions on using AC. For example, you can't set the temperature lower that 23 degrees Celsius, which I find very weird, considering that the hotel is in Bangkok, the city where it's always hot

I liked EVERYTHING, the place is perfect to stay in Khao San Rd area, is super quiet, just 10min walk to Khao San Rd. The staff is awesome, very helpful. They have washing machine you can use very cheap, and hang the clothes there, it's so useful!! Also they make very nice coffee, the rooms are very comfortable, big and super clean, everything is so nice in this place!

I would just suggest to the owners to add a security box in the room. Like you can find in many hotels now.

    The room was very nice

They have a NO GUEST POLICY and you have to pay 300 in order to have someone visit you.

Some staffs are kind. Near to a nice riverside restaurant. Walking distance to Khaosan Road. Near to 7/11.

Almost staffs never smile or say hello back when I say hello or good morning to them. They look so angry especially the lady who stays in the frontdesk at night. Hotel locks the front door after midnight and we had to ring the bell and wake her up to open the door for us, she looks so tired and never smiles so we had to feel sorry for waking her up, Which normally not happens in a hotel which says it provides 24hrs front desk. No lift so we have to walk up to 4th floor everyday. Breakfast was so basic and over priced (one cup of coffee or tea, 2 slice of toast with one packet of jam and butter, and one yogurt). With that price, we could have 2 Pat Thai in Bangkok street. We had to leave our room key in the front desk, which means our room power is out while we're out, so recharging batteries was impossible and we had to come back to hot room after spending sweating times in HOT Bangkok. Even the hotel says it provides room cleaning service daily, our room was half cleaned only (No bedding nor washing glasses, just empty trash and towel changed) We booked one more night as our flight is after midnight and we needed a place to take a shower and repack our luggage. As we checked out a night earlier and said we want to smoke and wait our taxi in a smoking area of the hotel, one staff says 'smoke outside in the street' which is not kind.
