No hot drinking water at least got small kettle.
Awful, unclean, super difficult staff to deal with. Spiders in the bed and mold in the bathrooms. Loud at all hours of the night. Would not recommend at all.
This room was a budget options so we not expecting anything fancy. In normal circumstances I would say that it was OK and you get what you pay for. We were not allowed to check in early but that’s only because they were full so totally understandable. Their cafe was nice and air con for waiting. The window opened on to a brick wall but again, not unusual as it was budget accommodation. The location was great, on Silom road near street food and you can hop on a bus to get to the far end for metro. Shower was a separate cubicle and large. All very clean. Bed was rock hard but we left before sleeping in it due to a family emergency.
The WiFi did not work but even worse it was showing that it was working. I had just arrived in Thailand just for overnight before flying on to New Zealand and hadn’t bought a SIM as I thought the WiFi was functioning and had no idea my mother would be taken ill. As a result I did not receive an urgent email or WhatsApp message from home until hours after it was sent that my mother was in hospital with only hours to live. I was panicking and unable to contact my family. The reception staff didn’t offer to help in any way other than to suggest I visited Starbucks for WiFi. They need to fix WiFi or remove it from their facilities list so that people are aware! I asked if they had a separate one for their own use that I could urgently use and they said no. They didn’t even offer to help with a taxi to the airport or let me use their landline which I would have happily paid for so that we could contact home/buy tickets to return to UK. I gave up asking them for any help and ran to Arena Tailors shop opposite who connected me to their WiFi and rang the airline, spoke to them in Thai and established there were seats and we could fly home immediately.
Staff are friendly and helpful Near lots of massage parlours and food outlets. A 10 minutes walk from bars and skytrain. Good value Clean, fridge in room, nice Shower, tv in room
Internet in my room was at times slow and patchy. Also you have to connect everytime you leave and come back. Plastic glasses in room. No coffee making facilities apart from hot water near the entrance No complementary water and no communal water fountain No soap by sinks in room Walls are plain white with no pictures. Just one picture would be nice!
