Pros: This is a stunningly beautiful home. Peaceful and tranquil. Our room was beautifully furnished with a very comfy bed. It is a remote location, but that brings a wonderful stay, the dinner recommendations were excellent. Breakfast was so good, we didn't need lunch. It was served by a very smiley Marie, who is clearly very happy in her job as were all the staff we met. The grounds are exquisite and we appreciated the pool and hot tub. If you want somewhere different, this is the place. We loved it.
Pros: Family were welcoming and polite
Cons: Breakfast was slightly expensive
Pros: Everything, just beautiful
Pros: Lovely Chateau set in wonderful gardens. If you are into formal gardens and clever use of green planting and topiary this is a must see place. Breakfast was very good and although dinner was not an option, there was a bar and the owner was very happy for us to eat some food we brought with us.
Cons: A dinner option would have made the stay even more relaxing
Pros: Gracious owner & pleasant staff; gorgeous historic interior; extreme attention to detail in all amenities; beautiful, whimsical interpretation of historic garden style; extremely peaceful environment - wish we could have stayed a week to do nothing but sleep, read, & stroll the gardens!!
Cons: Everything was perfect; can’t think of a thing I’d change!
Pros: The owner was very pleasant and spoke excellent English. The owner also told us all about the history of the chateau and recommended places to eat. The room was amazing and we had a fabulous stay. Lovely home made crepes for breakfast too.
Pros: Fantastic gardens and excellent breakfast . A unique historical home. Small friendly ,family run chateaux and full of lovely old French antiques .This was a very romantic setting for our 40th wedding anniversary.m
Cons: Because the fantastic rural setting it was about 15k to the nearest good restaurant. They have a beautiful on site tea room during the day but nothing in the evening.
Pros: This is a very unusual and a very interesting, and a very charming place. It is really a stately home, rather than a small castle or palace. It is a very much lived-in grand country manor, so not at all pretentious in spite of its outward grandeur - a family home. But the grandure is certainly here. The site is a fantastic world class Italianate topiary garden with a terrific view on one side, and a dignified courtyard on the other. Suptuous comfortable public rooms, formal dining/breakfast room, very grand bedrooms, nice big baths. Charming friendly host and hostes. Awesome outdoor swimming pool Visiting Brittany is not complete without staying at this welcoming amazing place. Worth every penny !!
Pros: The size and furnishings of the room and the beauty of the surrounding property.

Pros: Loved the hosts here! We communicated even though we didn’t speak the same language! Lovely breakfast and quaint room...just what we needed after a long drive!
Pros: Very comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was simple - coffee, juice and croissants/bread with jams.
Pros: Authentic location! Very friendly people. Nice parrot that lives downstairs.
Cons: Nothing. Maybe there might be some additional breakfast options.
Pros: The place was really clean. It looked like we were the first people to stay after the remodel. It was the best place we’ve stayed in France. Wonderful host. Breakfast was extra but her homemade jam made it all worth it. It’s a bit out of the way but will return.
Pros: See comment above
Cons: Paying twice and having to spend hours sorting
Pros: The breakfast was very good for the price - and the décor of the breakfast room was beautiful .
Pros: Breakfast was served in the family dining room which was lovely. The owners were very welcoming and attentive. The room was very comfortable and had a view over the wonderful garden.
Cons: There was no bath. Limited selection of bread and croissants at breakfast..would have been nice to have had eggs etc. as breakfast was an additional 7 euros each. Antrain was dead..no restaurants open..the only one was shut on holiday. Only a supermarket, small shop and tabac. Nothing open in the evening for a drink or a meal..a real pity as the lovely is fab and well kept..we found this made it boring as no interaction with anyone. All the commercial businesses other than the ones mentioned were shut and looked like someone had left in a hurry!
