10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of Beaumaris. Suite was excellent, very comfortable, spacious and clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I spent such a relaxing week in Ty Anne. The suite is excellent; comfy bed, cosy couch, spotlessly clean, home from home and, to top the lot, the best view ever. I could have stared at the ever-changing view for the entire week. Jean and Lisa were such welcoming hosts and thought of everything I might need. Nothing was too much trouble. In fact, I felt more like a family friend than a paying guest and still they respected and valued my pricacy. The beautiful town of Beaumaris is right on your doorstep and has everything you need. Excellent. Excellent. Excellent
Cons: Absolutely nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant breakfast. The room was excellent, with great views over Menai Strait and Snowdonia, and superb facilities. Jean and Lisa were very welcoming and looked after us brilliantly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very welcoming & friendly, they accommodated to our needs & made sure we had everything. The place had a very rustic vibe to it with some modern touches tastefully placed around the room. The views were superb!
Cons: The shower floor & the on/off button needs some renovation/cleaning. Towels could perhaps do with replacement as some, although were clean, seemed like they have been in usage for a long time eg. One of the towels had what seemed like a permanent stain. Having said that, this was not off-putting as overall everything was clean and tidy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location, stunning views, beautiful rooms. Lisa and Jean are lovely people and make you feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here. Theresa and Andy, Oxford.

Pros: The host was absolutely lovely and made our very short stay extremely enjoyable, we needed to arrive much later than the check in time and she was very accommodating about this, the rooms were lovely and clean and had everything in them we needed, the beds were comfortable and the decor was nice. It’s the little touches here that really make it, hot water bottles if you need them and bits and pieces in case you forget anything. Pros: Elaine was very welcoming and gave us an interesting history of the beautiful house. It was very peaceful and relaxing with fabulous views of the well-kept garden, the Menai Straits and the Brittania Bridge. The decor was very tasteful throughout and the room was well stocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and Elaine brought us fresh milk!! The shower room was nice and clean plus the shower was quite large with lots of different jets for a variety of sprays and shower heads for those that fancy a real power shower. Elaine's homemade muesli was truly delicious and nourishing also Geoff's cooked breakfast was well-cooked with fresh, decent produce. It was just perfect for a relaxing stay after a very stressful time.
Cons: Nothing!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, very friendly and genial host, superb location. Nice spacious room with fantastic view over the river, Plenty of space to sit inside and out.
Cons: If I had to be very very picky then the shower in our room hadn't got enough power and therefore wasn't particularly good but, as mentioned before, this would be the only and very slight criticism.

Pros: Comfy bed, view and superb breakfast. Owner lovely
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: I love the location which has fantastic views over the Menai Straight. The building is very beautiful inside and out with lovely gardens.
Cons: The dining rooms need an update and although breakfast was delicious the dinner was disappointing.
5.8 Okay
Pros: View of the property at the back side. Quite and refreshing
Cons: My expectation was high as it said 5star. But it did not look 5star Style inside. Out side location is really beautiful. 2nd day bed was made tidy, but not changed.

Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Fantastic looking hotel in a fairytale location...
Cons: En-suite door needed addressing, maybe some staff training needed... and possibly extra staff...
7.1 Good
Pros: The building is beautiful as is the grounds. The location is fantastic also. The room was really nicely decorated and the showers in the turret was a nice feature.
Cons: The receptionist was rude and ignored us on arrival. A simple "sorry I'll be with you shortly" would do. Also I paid extra for a room with a sea view but only got that view is I stood in one particular spot anywhere else I only got the car park. The extra charge for the "sea view" was not worth it.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location and bedrooms
Cons: Hot tub not working and a bit untidy as the gardens hadn’t been tidied up from the day before; empty glasses scattered around the grounds.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Duchess Suite has view of the Menai Straits although the bath tub takes front and center. Afternoon Tea was very good. Breakfast included and full Welsh breakfast was nice except for black pudding. Substitute local 'glamorgan' sausage for that. Bar food was also good.
Cons: Didn't change towels daily - ok for bath towels but not for facecloths.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful location. Staff were so lovely. Rooms were gorgeous. I think it could have been cleaner. That would be my only problem but it wasn’t that bad but for the money your paying I would have expected a better standard.
Cons: Cold water tap in bathroom was hot. Never ran cold. Bathroom could have done with a better clean. More attention to general cleanliness in room and hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, attentive staff, friendly dragon and gorgeous gardens
Cons: We wished we’d booked to stay longer
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Restaurant staff were friendly, and helpful. Evening meal was nice enough, but 2 elements on the menu, were left off the plate. A special mention about Jessie, the barman, most pleasant.
Cons: The hotel was shabby, had an odour in the public areas, and needed a good clean. Used tissues in the entrance hall, on the table, near a vase of flowers, were there all day. Our room was filthy. There was a large stain on the chair in the room. Carpets need replacing, it also needed dusting, and bathroom ceiling and walls need re decorating. It was a disgrace. The sheets didn't fit the bed, and the window was so small, we had an executive room, with no view at all!

Pros: Hotel had character and staff were friendly. Car park was useful and the staff let us leave the car there later on the last day.
Cons: We had originally booked a room for the 29/30th and wanted to stay an extra night. The hotel said there was no availability but we managed to book on booking.com. at a higher rate. (The hotel did apologise for this and upgraded us). In the evening we booked a table for dinner but had to wait 45 minutes before the food arrived. Portions were also a bit small and we were not offered any compensation for the wait.

7.0 Good
Pros: the breakfast was very good, although I didn't find the fruit and yoghurt till after I had had a cooked breakfast, as it was hidden behind where you make your own toast, this could be more available so you have it first.
Cons: The hotel is situated right on the front at Beaumaris which is excellent but is getting a bit tired now and in sore need of a re-vamp. Our room which I paid extra for as a sea view room was quite small and dark. The mirror on the wall was out of line with the dressing table, so next to nigh impossible to sit at the chair and see into the mirror for hair drying etc.

Pros: I have stayed here several times and the location is ideal as I have family nearby. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the WiFi worked well!
Cons: I thought that the breakfast at 6 GBP per person was a little on the pricey side but was generally ok.

Pros: Lovely clean comfortable room, great shower, fantastic view over the menai strait. Breakfast served in a very pleasant dining room with the same views, and food at breakfast was very good.
Cons: Our only slight criticism would be the attitude of the waitresses at breakfast. They weren't especially welcoming.
