Pros: the room was cozy and the owner very welcoming and nice
Cons: the location is a little strange especially if you arrive by night
Pros: The place was recommended by some people we know and it was just as they described it. Very forthcoming host and good location - only a short walk from the city 'centre' and the great fortress! Good price value!
Cons: There were no shortcomings! Nice rooms and a good working air con which you'll need in summer ;) also the outside area was nice to sit at. We picked up some Bulgarian breakfast where the host recommended us to go to and had it on the porch. Fantastic!
Pros: The staff was super friendly, flexible and helpful
Pros: Very good big shower, everything very clean, we could park our two motorbikes safe at the owners house
Pros: Every single thing
Pros: I spent 10 days in Bulgaria and I must say it was the best room I booked. More than a room by the way, it has all the comfort you need! Just perfectly clean! I really appreciated the woman who welcome us, me and my girlfriend, and gave us information about the city and where to eat. True human relationship before all. Real nice experience!
Pros: Perfect Stay ! Great place ! Big rooms. The places recommended for dinner were perfect.
Cons: Either you walk 5-10 min to the city center or you go by car. Was not a big issue.

Pros: The mattress and the pillows were extremely comfortable. There were two pillows for every person. It is something that you can't have in most hotels in Bulgaria. The coffee machine at use in the kitchen is something that we appreciated. The veranda is a nice place to have your coffee. There is a fully equipped kitchen which you can use.
Cons: The bathroom got flooded when we used it. It's a good idea to have a curtain.
Pros: Clean rooms, nice personal, good place, fully equiped kitchen.
Pros: I liked almost everything,Quiet, comfortable,Clean,Excellent service personnel.....
Cons: It's a good hotel and you will feel calm and comfortable
Pros: new furnished room, friendly and helpful owner Very close to Belogradchik fortress
Pros: The location is good, near to the Rocks and the center. The host was super nice and friendly. It was very clean. There is a nice yard, where guests can enjoy a few drinks in the evening or their morning coffee, kindly provided on property by the host. Strongly recommended!
Pros: Close to the fortress, close to the city center, friendly host, good room, close to everything we needed for a one night stay
Cons: the shower was placed in the middle of the bathroom, the water remained on the bathroom floor, also creating a strange moisture smell
Pros: The room is nice and clean. I was offered a parking space which I did not expect.
Cons: It was somewhat noisy but it is not the hotel's fault.
Pros: Quiet, peaceful location and the Fortress is stunning.
Pros: Very nice place. Super clean. Close to the centre and the fortress and there is a cafe nearby. It had everything that you could possibly need and the lady who welcomed us was so nice. She waited for us and was very welcoming even though we were quite late. I would chose it again if I need a place to stay in Belogradchik.
Pros: Very close to the city center and fortress. One private parking spot available. The staff was very polite.

Pros: Very good location! The rooms are clean and bed very comfortable! Highly recommended!
Pros: One day before the arrival, the owner warned us that there is a problem with the heating at Bedrock, so he proposed to relocate us in another guesthouse, Drakite, which was very cosy, warm, well located and clean. Very kind and helpful staff, very good value for money.
Cons: Everything was OK
Pros: Perfectly located in Belogradchick at the end of a street. Rooms are simple, but all you need. The kitchen is perfect, everything you need, glasses, pots, pans, kettle. 1 hob and a big oven. We cooked twice there. The swimming pool is small, but very nice, the garden has fresh peaches and plums. The owner is very helpful.
Pros: Friendly staff, fast check-in, perfectly clean
Cons: Room ceiling light was a bit strong and no nightlamp (very very minor point; it didn't really bother us)
Pros: A room almost in the city centre, big kitchen and dinning room, swimming pool also available.
Cons: To the kitchen and swimming pool you need to go trough the street. There was no pan and only huge pots.
Pros: Clean comfortable 1star guest house. Nice kitchen, garden, bbq place and pool. Recomrnded
Pros: Very clean and tidy. Good place for a short stay.
Pros: Beds were very comfortable, which is very important for elder people. Kids enjoyed the pool. It was also great that we took the studio, where there was enough space for us and the kids.
Cons: Lack of easy access to the magnificent restaurant "Pri Ivan" near by - the short trail down there is steep and unlit and you have to move a much longer distance or drive.

Pros: You can take a tour on 4x4 jeep around the mountains and cliffs for a very reasonable price, very recommended.
Pros: Nice sightseeings
Cons: Impossibility to shut down the heating. Too hot inside the room
Pros: Good heating, comfortable bed. There was even a towel on the floor for the feet after the shower, which is very useful !
Cons: The only "bad" thing is that the router was a bit far from our room so sometimes we lost the Wi-Fi connection. But it's not a big deal.
Pros: Excellent value for the money and very friendly and helpful owners - if you have any questions or doubts - just ask them and you will learn all you want to know. The house is located at a walking distance from the castle. Free public parking is available on the street.
Pros: A family run guesthouse. The son speaks perfect english (he worked as a translator). They were helpful with finding things-to-see in the area. All in all, a very simple but also very nice place to be. In general: Belogradchik is very much worth a visit! The rocks are amazing, the little town itself gives a bit of insight in everyday life in Bulgaria.
Pros: a clean and quiet place to rest. good location to visit the rocks. good wifi connection.
Cons: I went cold, even though the heating was on all day, it does not heat the room.
Pros: The owner is very friendly, rooms are clean and large, wi-fi is fast, air conditioning works.
Cons: lack of glasses or mugs inside.
Pros: Everything is ok.
Cons: No reception desk.
Pros: I found this place last minute and it was absolutely charming. The owner was incredibly kind, and accommodating. I felt relaxed and at ease here and would gladly return. It's also right within walking distance of Belogradchik rocks which offer excellent breath taking sites. I 100% recommend a stay here.

Pros: The guard man, it was clean, the view.
Cons: First of all, what you see is not what you get. Very dissapointed in the lack of assistance from the employees, only the guard man was great. All the terraces were closed, outside jacuzzi closed, we didn't know where is what, almost felt like in an abadoned hotel. The utilities were there, but not functional. The pool was for small children, sauna was not included in the price, almost nothing worked. Let me tell you about the breakfast, basically I have more food in my kitchen, not to mention the fact that I asked for a second cup of coffee and they didn't want to serve me, even though the breakfast was included and coffee was in the breakfast. This is for sure not a 4 stars hotel, overly priced.
Pros: The hotel looks great and the staff was very nice with us. There is free private parking with a security man beeing present all the time. The facilities in the hotel are good and the view is amazing. Near the hotel we discovered there is a place where you can take a ride with a hot air balloon (We found out about this during the morning of our departure, so we weren't able to go, but I think it would be a nice experience) I believe we will return to this place.
Pros: Location Free car park
Cons: Hotel was not at all fully booked but we were given a room with no view of the rocks and aircon was not turned on. BUT we had no hot water in the evening , after complaining it was switched on in the morning. Roof terrace that was for viewing rocks was locked
Pros: We liked what it was advertised- swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), nice breakfast, comfortable and clean rooms. Which turned to be false. They’ve recommended a good restaurant- Ivan, which I’d recommend as well.
Cons: - outdoor swimming pool wasn’t working - indoor swimming pool was dirty, small with heavy smell on chlorine - a lot of mold in the bathroom, where not everything was functioning properly - not a double bed, but 2 singles one to another - price was not corresponding to what’s been offered - breakfast is a joke - bunch of very cheap stuff I wouldn’t recommend staying there for the price you pay (again price is not high, but you rather get a very bad value for money)
Pros: Location is central.
Cons: Ice cold pool with tiles falling off, gym equipment was broken, dead fish in the fish tank, air conditioning barely functioned, patio closed for renovations, room in empty hotel had a 2nd floor view of the parking area, etc, etc
Pros: Breakfast was delicious and great location, close to the major sights in the area.
Cons: Nothing really comes to mind.
Pros: place is great, staff is very kind, view is amazing.
Cons: its not a new hotel, but maintained properly
Pros: Location is perfect and you will have everything that you would want.
Pros: The view. The housekeeping ladies. Breakfast was ok.
Cons: Carpet in the room was dirty. The spa zone is small and not working good.

Pros: The location was great! (a valley surrounded by mountains) The host didnt speak english (just a few words) but we understood eachother just fine. We are a five member family who staid only one night.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like!
Pros: View, very relax area
Cons: did not get our request for double bed. we were check in with only single beds
In the town of Belogradchik, a walking distance from its centre with shops and restaurants, Family Hotel The Rocks offers accommodation with cable TV; free Wi-Fi is available in all areas, and bicycles can be rented on site. All units come with a private bathroom. Some rooms are air-conditioned. The apartment is additionally featuring a balcony, a seating area, and a functionally equipped kitchenette. There is also a restaurant with a terrace on site, serving Bulgarian and grilled dishes. The reception is opened 24 hours a day. Belogradchik Rocks Formations is 1 km away. A bus stop is right next to the property. Public parking is possible on site for free.
Pros: Family hotel is comfortable, clean and has rooms spacious enough. They also have a restaurant that works for dinner and probably for breakfast as well. Ok for a few days.
Cons: We were very dissapointed because we booked a room with airconditioning, but lady who worked there, told us there isn't any available. We saw some guests who had air con in their rooms, so probably you need to check if there is really air con in your room when you book it, because it is possible they simply advertise all rooms have it, but actually most of them don't! We chose another room at last which looked a bit colder (but without aircon), but still it wasn't fair we didn't get aircon, since we had a small child and it wasn't very comfortable for him in the middle of summer.
Pros: It was clean and the spot were good.
Cons: The bed was awful!
Pros: Owner allowed us for late check-out. Good location near to bus pick-up/drop-off point.
Cons: Travel during end-November. Remote control for air-condition (heater) was not provided. Need to request from the owner. No toiletries, kettle, glasses/cups provided... only provide shower towel and toilet roll. Hotel standard should provide the basic toiletries. If not, it should classified as guesthouse rather than hotel.
Pros: Great location. The room was small, but clean and tidy perfect for night or two.
Cons: Everything was fine
Pros: Family Hotel The Rocks is solid budget accommodation. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The hotel is very close to restaurants, the bus station (200m) and within walking distance of the fortress. There is a restaurant on ground floor providing adequate evening meals. I preferred and recommend eating at Tavern Markashnitsa in the next street, heading towards Tourist Information.
Cons: I have no complaints about the hotel.
Pros: Great location. Close to city center.
Cons: Uncomfortable parking. No side bed lamps. Bed too tough, almost unable to sleep on. Not to mention the pillow.
Pros: I came at 21 but it was not an issue. Lady was waiting for me. She was friendly and brought me to my room. Also it was possible to checkout when I want.
Pros: Value for money was okay, close to everything.
Cons: Lady at the reception was quite rude since we spoke Englisch. Only when one of us switched to Bulgarian, she was slightly more polite.
Pros: Very good location. The rooms are nice and clean. There is a good option for dinner.
Pros: This place is very near to the city center and the main attraction - the Belogradchick Rocks. It's nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. Great for people who're mainly outside and get a room just for the sleep.
Cons: No private mini-fridge. We had to wrap the covers ourselves. Only one towel per person (no hand/face towels). The trash bin was hard to open (it was only one, in the bathroom).
