10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable. Fabulous location with each room having a great view on the Peña.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Service and view of Pena de Bernal from bed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Toni, the owner was a delight! She was on site and helped us plan our next few days into the mountains. She had lots of great advice, (including sending us to a tour of the cheese factory and farm tour of Flor de Alfalfa). Her property was spotless, beautifully charming, and impeccably adorned. She also hosted a wonderful meditation at 9 am that was very inspiring. All the staff were great too. The location on the hillside across from the Pena del Bernal (giant rock) was perfect. I don't think you would want to be on the other side of the valley, as the view would not be nearly as fabulous!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was just beautiful. Very quite and peaceful and with a excellent view. Very comfortable.
Cons: Only that we could not stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love everything about El Cantar del Viento. Can't wait to go back....!!!!!!! Just a magical place. And Tony is the most adorable host...!!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Toni was an excellent host. She accommodated to my physical needs as I had hurt my back two days before our stay. This was a true USA comfort stay in Mexico. The attention to detail is phenomenal. Super clean, great view, delicious food, best micheladas, and welcoming staff. They really go out of their way for you. The pictures do no justice to this gorgeous hotel. Don’t think twice about it, just book it!
Cons: Loved everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a beautiful place! Great view, I was sleeping like a baby, wonderful breakfast and lovely people. 10!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The wi-fi was good. The host was very friendly. We stayed at this hotel during our previous trip to Bernal (4 years ago), and we will stay there again next time.
Cons: An extra pillow or two would be appreciated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed my trip. I came with my family, and the service was fantastic. It's in an unbeatable location, and to be quite honest, my room *divided into two different rooms* could have hosted more than 3 people.
Cons: I would have preferred stronger shower pressure.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location. Unbeatable for the view and proximity to the Monolith and the little restaurants at its base.
Cons: Hotel needs to stop advertising a suite with two rooms. It was rather a room with another smaller room in the back. If anyone needed to use the bathroom, you needed to go through the bigger room. This is just a large room with a large walk-in closet in which there is a bunk bed. Deceiving!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfort!! Amazzing view Peña
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast every morning. The view was incredible from our room, a perfect look at the Peña, as the hotel is situated at the foot of this monolith. (Not all rooms offer this view.) Check in was quick and easy, with the staff being very kind and accommodating. A maid cleaned our room each day and supplied fresh towels. Some areas of the walls had moisture issues and the paint was peeling due to this moisture in certain rooms, but overall the place is in good condition and laid out in a Spanish colonial style with all the rooms situated around a central indoor courtyard. We booked a room with a hot tub and the water is truly hot, the tub felt wonderful, a rare treat in Mexico! The bed in our room was orthopaedic, meaning hard, but the blankets were soft and otherwise we slept well. The rooms do not have a/c. We found the temps at night during our stay to be mild so we didn’t unduly suffer from the warmth, but during warmer temps a fan would be needed to make sleeping more comfortable as there are no ceiling fans. My kids loved the room with the bunk beds, it’s a nice way to sleep a large family or larger group. The t.v’s had HDMI hook ups and with this connection we were able to hook up our Netflix account to the tv and watch movies. The hike up the monolith is one my kids really enjoyed, it is somewhat physically demanding as it is a trail at some points with large steps up and over rocks, etc. Not recommended if you have any knee/back problems. Too rough of a trail to bike. If you like hiking challenging trails, you will enjoy the hike! Overall, a lovely place to stay, we will be returning.
Cons: During the week, the town essentially shuts down by 5pm. This made it challenging to find something to eat for dinner. Lunch was easy with a great amount of shops and restaurants open around the square that serve quality food. There were a few places selling tacos and gorditas at night, but even these places were closing by 7pm. So, make sure you plan your dinner early or have food on hand to picnic for dinner. Also, the rooms do not have a/c and though the windows are big, the section that can be opened is quite small, allowing for little breeze. A fan would be good, or plan your visit during milder temps.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast! The staff was very friendly and kind. While we got to practice our Spanish there was one staff member who spoke english as well. They allowed us to store our luggage while we climbed the Pena and arranged for a taxi to take us to Queretaro. We would love to stay there again. They were able to move us to a room with a view of le Pena.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location is close to downtown but not too close. Personnel are very nice and helpful. Parking is a plus in Bernal.
Cons: Very nice well kept hotel Rooms are good size, bigger than expected. Hotel is very well kept and staff is very helpful. We had a good breakfast. All in good order, if we return, it would be here. Totally recommended!

Pros: Great value for money, the room was great. Our room was spacious, clean, and the hotel is a great place to visit Bernal. It is a few steps from the city centre and the restaurant has a great view of the Peña.
Cons: Squishy sounds from the mattress, only 2 people attending the morning breakfast at the restaurant made service slow.

Pros: The situation is good, in the middle of town
Cons: Dark room, people passing you room can see into the room. No view or daylight in the room. Very expensive for the location. I felt taken by the noose. It’s maybe a detail but the flowers in the entrance hall were not fresh, to begin the weekend this is not acceptable too ....

Pros: Its a beautiful property.Room is very big with a beautiful balcony and very clean including the shower. Hot water provided 24hours! The bed is comfortable and the location is fantastic. A short walking distance to all main attractions, bars, shopping and restaurants. But the best was the host Hector. He is knowledgeable , very helpful and did everything to make as feel like home. Thank you so much for the fabulous time we had with you. We will be back!
Cons: No Internet connection in the room.

Pros: The staff service and the view on the rooftop
Cons: There was no hot water in the morning. It's a real shame since I reserved the best room in the hotem
7.1 Good
Pros: The location and the breakfast; room was ok. It has parking lot.
Cons: The room was supposed to have a view of the Peña and that was not true, the location of the room made it very difficult to get a good look at the Peña (room 12). Also the room did not had a telephone to contact the receptionist and that was uncorftable because we had to go down everytime that we needed something (for example we didn't have hot water and we had to go down, we ran out of toilet paper because they only set one piece).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was excellent, the bed was very very comfortable

5.4 Okay
Pros: Pros: We had a King Bed, which was very comfortable; there were lots of pillows. The Hotel had a great location and secure parking.
Cons: We found our room not as clean as expected. The floors had not been swept, and the bathroom was not adequately cleaned. The room was very small also. The Hotel needs some TLC.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was very good as the downtown is very close to the hotel.
Cons: Can be great if the hotel can have a swimming pool.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a great location, the beds are very comfortable, and the water in the shower is hot. We loved the complimentary breakfast next day, it was tasty and the right amount of food. Also, the panoramic views from the terrace are amazing.
Cons: Their wifi doesn’t work, the tv is not very good either, and their customer service is not great since the staff are not very smiley neither go above and beyond. However, when we asked them to hold our bags next day for a couple hours after checking out they nicely accepted.
