8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and close proximity to the Metro.
Cons: It was rather warm and the bedding was not as comfortable as we would have preferred.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location, quality, layout!
Cons: My wife said the pillows were lacking being comfortable. These days with all the new pillows out there, this was just not cutting it. Valet parking cost is getting to high!
6.0 Good
Pros: Very clean rooms, nice bar and restaurant down stairs. Comfortable beds, metro station is directly below hotel
Cons: No microwave, have to pay for parking?? Never seen that before, makes it not worth the stay. No pool, guess they turned it into an event center. Was confused why they charged my card 5 days after we left.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Next to the Metro station, so an easy ride into DC. The room-plenty big, very clean, comfortable bed, new sheets/towels (not that horrible worn-thin quality that some have), free internet, Starbucks off the lobby. Staff-genuinely helpful and friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the property was Excellent and I recommend for staying in this hotel
Cons: Nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was nice and clean. I loved the shower. I also like how you needed a key to get to your floor. The service at the restaurants was very good and the food was ok. The parking was not expensive which was a plus.
Cons: I did not like that I was not informed of the check out time. There were only 2 towels and 2 wash cloths in the room and when I asked for another one it took 15 minutes for someone to bring me one and I wasn't even given an extra towel. I think somebody came in my room and went through my stuff but I can't prove it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked how close the hotel was to the Metro and local restaurants.
Cons: The bathroom could have used more space :).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: no
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The location can't be beat for Bethesda
Cons: I came back after a long day and they never cleaned my room, but did it right away when I told them
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Convenient to the Metro and well priced. Good complimentary breakfast at Daily Grill as a Globalist. Very nice renovation - clean rooms, comfortable bed and pillows.
Cons: Staff/service - we arrived in the middle of the night and was provided very limited information. Housekeeping only seems to do one sweep, so our room never got made up when we left the room a little after noon. No loyalty gift or acknowledgement of status, nor any upgrade.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location: within walking distance of everything we needed.

7.0 Good
Pros: Nice room!
Cons: Parking is very expensive and no free WiFi, not even in the lobby.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, will never stay at a Double Tree again. For the outrageous costs, it should have been perfect. They didn't even give you a bottle of water. Complete rip off.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean
Cons: elevators
10.0 Excellent
Pros: cafe
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful, comfortable, friendly and freshly clean stay!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff made us feel very welcomed
Cons: No / we were treated very well l
1.0 Poor
Pros: Please contact me. This needs to be refunded!!!
Cons: The hotel was not accommodating to the Coronavirus and did not update procedures for sanitation and guest services. Very poor customer service and concern for visitor safety.
1.0 Poor
Pros: It was very nice.
Cons: No it was very nice and customer service was amazing..however!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room.
Cons: Main entrance on s very busy road, had to pay for parking.
5.0 Okay
Cons: There was no hot water to shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The customer service was top notch. I requested to check in earlier than anticipated, and the room was available so they allowed it. The decor is nice, and the rooms comfortable. They even have hairdryers that work on WOC hair. Yay!
Cons: Free wifi would have been nice
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Check out time was convenient (noon not 11 am). Coffee in lobby was also an added perk.
Cons: Old building with musty carpeting and dated internal décor. Very little sitting room in lobby. No closets in room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were modern and clean with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
6.7 Good
Pros: the rates for the room and parking were very reasonable compare with other hotels in the DC area. The metro takes about half hour to the city, but you will need to take the shuttle bus to the station, and make a transfer from red line to blue/orange line, plus you need to figure out the complex fares for the metro!
Cons: Breakfest is very expensive
7.3 Good
Pros: the room was large and comfortable. although the hotel is not new, it has been well cared for. free wireless high speed internet was easy to access. it's about a six block walk to the red line of the metro.
Cons: the hotel seemed confused by my reservation through booking.com. when i checked out they had charged me a much higher rate. while they eventually rectified the situation, it took some time. they seemed unfamiliar with how reservations are made through booking.com

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hung a sheet over a pipe--since when the blind was closed people could see in. None of the TV channels had good reception...kept going in & out of the channels. Wore socks, because of old carpet. Bathroom door was disgusting. Take off your site.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked I could do all by internet.
Cons: There was ONE GLITCH due to way the Inn handled it. I was charged twice--"because I had to send an authorization form." REASON:I am helping someone who got stranded; they're funds unavailable. Hotel room was not for me. Also no food service due to virus.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Price seemed too high.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The Price
Cons: I stayed at this hotel on a Saturday night. Apparently the hotel rents out space to a church on Sundays mornings. The noise level of the music is unbearable. It stated early in the morning and went on for hours. Also the front desk did not care.
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is very old and small there was a hotel near this one much better for just $14 more.
Cons: Very old hotel need to be updated with new item. Room are really small.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Guapos restaurant best Mexican restaurant, authentic great food
4.8 Okay
Pros: Room was kinda clean, the location was great.
Cons: The stuff ladies were great!!! but guys ... not so much... first: when I arrived one guy at the front desk started something like "I don't need this papers, just give me your ID" - this was when I just wanted to show booking confirmation... then told me that my 10 minutes walk with suitcase from metro (after 6h flights) is a good exercise for me - ha, ha, ha... not funny!! then he told me to sit and wait because my room is not ready (after 4pm), finally some nice lady from the stuff talked to him and I got another room... second: I stayed 4 nights and i had broken direct tv box, remote control did not work and i had to switch channel manually every time. Again, not funny to get up from your bed all the time.... but for some reason that was also funny for the another guy when I complained about it.... "when you find good channel you don't have to get up more" ... seriously?!?!?
4.0 Okay
Pros: Spacious
Cons: Holes on top roof , woke up to my daughter being wet from the leakage in the roof
6.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable mattress, available restaurants nearby, free parking
Cons: During pandemic, it was unsettling to see people not wearing face coverings as they come out of the elevator. It would appear a local employee familiar with the property would come in for coffee, again face coverings were not worn and the front desk person said nothing. A few people were conscientious wearing face coverings but it was surprising and unsettling to see quite a few not wearing face coverings, with additional lack of enforcement from front desk. The NIH and FDA buildings are minutes away.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant and supportive staff. Cozy room. Great location, beautiful neighborhood.
Cons: I was told at the hotel there was no breakfast when I thought it was bed and breakfast when I was booking. The ice machine on the 3rd floor looked unhealthy and maybe should be replaced. The microwave beside the machine was quite dirty and messy sometimes too.
6.0 Good
Pros: Least expensive
Cons: Heating and cooling units are terrible.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Front desk lady was very nice
Cons: People in the parking lot smoking weed, not very nice guests walking around the facilities with no masks, room small, old furniture, we left the next day. Bethesda's is a very nice neighbourhood I don't get it how this kind of hotel is approved by the authorities. 3 stars is way to much.

Pros: Great staff. Amazing breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location worked out perfectly for us as we were between Silver Spring and Bethesda. It was very easy to find, park, etc. The price for the location was very fair.
Cons: The absolute only thing we didn't like was that the beds were very firm and uncomfortable to us. Considering sleep is important, that would be the only thing that would deter us from staying here in the future.

Cons: There is no area to park for check-in.

Pros: Extremely clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!! Best Marriott in Washington
8.0 Excellent
Pros: staff location
Cons: cleaning staff let cleaning supplies in the room when we checked in.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Had to pay 17 dollars a day for parking. Now, overall that is cheap, but the parking garage was large, and there was plenty of room. Parking should be free. If was not like there was limited space in the area. it is not downtown NYC.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The suite setup was appealing, I especially enjoyed the double doors to the bedroom. The guest laundry was also a surprise. Close to Balducci's. Mall close with options for shopping, food, and activities. Wisconsin Avenue within driving distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room. Staff was very friendly!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Terrific location just off freeway. Very nice front lobby, bar and restaurant area, easy parking. Very attentive and friendly staff. A really nice hotel.
Cons: Little details in bathroom. Lack of adequate towel racks, especially since they actively advertise conservation. Shower head too wide for the shower. Sprays on floor if curtain not entirely closed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just perfect...our suite was clean, comfortable, and inviting. The Starbucks that was delivered was hot and fresh. The bar staff is wonderful and the beer selection is terrific. There was absolutely nothing that We could day other than perfect in every way.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was great, all staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: We didn’t like being put in a room which had noise coming through the vent from the roof. It seemed like it was known to staff. We booked the room well in advance so I’m not sure why we were put in a room that was so loud you couldn’t sleep. We were then changed to a horrible room with zero privacy for dressing and undressing let alone sleeping. I was told it was the only room available. It was a handicap room which didn’t seem to meet the standards for ct but I am not up to date on your requirements for your state. I don’t think it should every be offered as a three person room. Also to charge for parking is not acceptable. We will probably not be staying in this hotel again. We were given a lovely breakfast and free parking which helped lesson the frustration of our unacceptable accommodations for traveling with a teenager.
7.0 Good
Pros: i have stayed here for years... nice rooms and location for business in the area
Cons: paying exhorbitant $17.00/day for parking is getting old.. especially because the infrastructure ie; ticket machine is faulty and a hassle....plus parking in town is half the price...and this hotel is not in town...get rid of the parking fee

5.0 Okay
Pros: The lobby design
Cons: My room was terribly small, the staff was far from warming, they acted as if they were upset i came in. 8.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall a very nice property. Good location in relation to tourist attractions, bars & restaurants. Room was modern and comfortable. Staff was friendly.
Cons: My internet did not work in the morning. I had to talk to their front desk and IT support. Took about an hour to resolve. While I was discussing with the front desk I asked where i could get an ice coffee and they said they would send one up. It arrived 40 min later, was a half full glass full of coffee, and came with a $13 price tag.

Pros: Very close to everything. Staff was wonderful
Cons: Had to ask for extra towels
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were amazing.
Cons: When we were leaving the elevator wasn’t working so we had to walk done five floors with our luggage.

Cons: Thinking it was a jacuzzi room which it wasn’t
5.0 Okay
Pros: Shower and bathroom. Nice towels.
Cons: Room chairs were very uncomfortable. Better to have a small sofa. Bed Pillows were uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel close to the National Mall. I highly recommend!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was literally 2 blocks from the White House and Lafayette Square. If you’re going to DC to do the touristy stuff, this is a great location because you are pretty much close to everything. I walked not only to the White House, but also to the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, WW II Memorial, and Smithsonian block, where all the Smithsonian institutions are located. It’s all walking distance. Loved that the hotel offered a complimentary bicycle code, so you can rent one for short rides. Rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. Enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant too. I recommend the French Toast! Finally, the concierges were particularly helpful in giving me advice throughout my stay.
Cons: I thought the bed was excessively soft. As in not being able to lay down straight, soft. Had to ask the housekeeping lady to remove the top comforter like layer, and still it was too soft. Would suggest firmer mattresses.

Pros: Excellent hotel. Wonderful combinations of retro look with modern conveniences.
Cons: No
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel can be reached comfortably by public transport. Service is friendly and the breakfast is fairly decent.
Cons: Upon checking out, my colleagues and I had to discover several items on our hotel bills that bore no relation to our actual stay. After some haggling, the staff eventually conceded that - e.g. having arrived by plane and public transport - we could probably not have used the valet parking ... Even later, minor items were charged twice to my credit card, without any prior notice or prior explanation given by the hotel management.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Central to all parts of town. Awesome view of the Potomac river.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The luxurious atmosphere and costumer service. It was better than I expected since I knew it was an old hotel. I learned it was remodeled. The bathrobe was the best!
Cons: My room didn't have a bathtub. There is an extra charge for use of the amenities and I forgot about that, therefore I didn't use them. That kind of upset me, but it s my fault.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location it had a beautiful view and was only a block away from the metro. Our room was amazing and so comfortable. I absolutely loved the shower. You are given robes and slippers the robe is so soft and comfortable. Everything was exceptionally clean. After a long day when we got back to our room everything was cleaned daily, SOOO NICE!!
Cons: There was really nothing that we didn't like about our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazing, a beautiful view over the Potomac. We could see the amazing sunsets, watch students rowing on the river and look out on the people simply taking a walk. We loved the pool, and I was impressed by the gym, which was very good for a hotel, in my experience. The lifts were very fast! Service was always cheerful and friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was probably the least favourite bit. The buffet was a bit unimaginative, although there was a good range of food to order.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff and that it had a CVS practically connected to the property
Cons: The room smelled like an ashtray. The walls and carpet had absorbed the smell. Ironically it was situated next to a PURE room which I am sure was also a smoking room in the past. No complimentary water and no fridge. Mattress was hard as a board and I prefer a firm mattress. Tiny pillows.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly staff.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location Also the meeting I was attending g was in same building
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was perfect! 10 min walk to the white house! I suggest getting a bird scooter and getting around that way. The entire hotel was very clean. The bar in the lobby is a bit pricey but good. Pro-tip is sit at the bar top. You'll thank me later.
Cons: The room was nice but did feel a little dated.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel. No complaint. Very clean with friendly staff
Cons: Cost of parking was nearly the cost of the hotel. Completely outrageous
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a very nice lobby and restaurant. The room and furnishings are old but not ugly. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom could be more modern.
Cons: There was a 2cm gap under the door so all the noise came into the room. Parking is extremly expensive.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Vending machines weren’t working no late night convenience store in hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I like the overall room. It’s very comfortable. They were also very kind enough to give me a free complementary breakfast voucher. Location is perfect very close to tourist attractions and shopping.(15min walk to shopping area/Portraits Gallery for example)
Cons: Housekeeping completing a clean of room every 3 days- I don’t understand this point. Is this a business decision due to costings, I don’t remember this rule for other Hilton’s I stayed in across the globe. I stayed for 2 nights so room was not cleaned at all. The fact that my room (I don’t think any room does) does not have a sign for “make my room”, not quite sure how they would clean my room or know if I had towels on the floor which means new towels requested. I phoned housekeeping to advise I needed more towels, at the time my room was clean (day 1) so didn’t need to ask to clean. I am sure they would have if requested. Although I received a breakfast voucher for continental breakfast for day 1, the actual breakfast with buffet is $28 per person (excl tax). I think this is way overpriced, which is why i didn’t pay for it for day 2. (This is over $60 for 2 people with tax and tips). I think there should be an assessment done over pricing, I don’t think the market or competitors offer it this high. There’s also loads of restaurants and cafes close by and breakfast would not cost this much.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a great location behind the white house but I wish they'd offered a free breakfast
Cons: at least letting us know they're going to be replacing AC units on the roof and not having to look at a giant crane truck the next morning
5.0 Okay
Pros: walking distance to metrobus and dc cirulator , walking distance to the White House
Cons: rooms had a musty smell, room temperature was difficult to adjust (room was either hot then cold with just a 1 degree adjustment)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location to White House and site seeing was great. Room was spacious. Staff was friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
Cons: Pillows are not comfortable. I normally bring my own but forgot to this trip. Only negative about this trip was the pillows.

Cons: Cost of parking garage, no continental breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, gym and restaurants.
Cons: There was a lot banging noise over my room
1.0 Poor
Cons: I informed the hotel what I want and when I am coming. I arrived pretty late, after 10pm, however, I was still assigned to a room that's not prepared with a big orange machine turned on, sounds like a vacum. I NEVER experienced such a thing my whole life. Then I was assigned to another room which I can literally heard the noise from the next door. Then during midnight I was waken up by the MOANING sound from next door. And the attitude of the staff is just not professional at all, make me feel like it was my FAULT. Feeling very bad. Won't come back again.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The cleaning serveice did not take the dirty glasses nor did they give us clean glasses. Otherwise, great hotel.

1.0 Poor
Pros: modern and clean
Cons: long walk to get to room, parking garage was confusing, girl at the desk was very uninformative, hotel was too busy, long lines at check in, noisy climate system, paying half of the price of the room to park in their garage, no deserts on the room service menu, Taxi was 12.75 cents to go a mile away and Uber was half the price.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The hotel did not include WATER at the rooms. This is unbelibable

Pros: Everything!! Best Marriott in Washington

Pros: staff location
Cons: cleaning staff let cleaning supplies in the room when we checked in.
