9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good Breakfast, very helpfull people
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Waking up to the sound of the stream near the property, felt very close to nature. The room was very spacious. The bathroom was very clean and had good water pressure. Breakfast was a simple selection with delicious fruits included. Just a short drive to the eastern part of the Ordesa National Park. There is an in house restaurant and they served pretty decent food. Although very little English was spoken, staff were helpful.
7.5 Good
Pros: Hosts were very hard working. Hotel was clean.
Cons: Would prefer a buffet breakfast. But meals were good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were in the hotel before and we liked the way staff looked after us
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location offering peace, tranquility and great views. Staff professional, helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast freshly cooked...not a congealed buffet style affair.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Would always come back
Cons: No bad comment
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We appreciated friendly staff and good location. The breakfast was tasty and the rooms were well equipped. Would recommend this place and plan to return when again in the area.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was very peaceful. Meals were great value and very nice.
Cons: The hotel was extremely hard to find. Badly sign posted. It is off the main road with a sign saying camping, no mention about a hotel. We were sitting on Bielsa when we clicked on location, it then takes you to google maps and the directions says it 35 mins away when it actually is only 3 minutes.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Surrounded by trees and river; close to Parque Nacional de Ordeasa y Monte Perdido. Big room with simple good breakfast and easy free parking.
Cons: The staffs are a bit cold.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location is very good.
Cons: The whole hotel needs a little more care. We had an accident on swimming pool because something was broken on Hamman and my son got burned in one leg. We had to stop holidays after that. Their reaction was proper but holidays were already "broken without repair". You notice a few things in hotel (including buffet) could be better just with better care.
7.6 Good
Pros: The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's in a beautiful location.
Cons: There didn't seem to be any separation between smoking areas and non-smoking areas. The cafeteria and the corridors constantly smelled of cigarette smoke.
7.6 Good
Pros: Spacious room. Pleasant staff
Cons: Excellent base for touring the Pyrennes

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We skipped breakfast after a bad experience at dinner. We went back into St. Lary for Crepes and loved it. Although the food was mediocre, the setting of the hotel is exceptional and beyond spectacular!! The hiking is filled with natural beauty and was truly awe-inspiring.
Cons: Our dinner was almost inedible, and the staff was unattentive and curt. It was far better to sit out on the beautiful deck and enjoy a beer while soaking in the changing lights on the mountains as the sun went down. Went into Bielsa for Tapas the second night and loved it. Worth staying at this beautiful hotel, but eating elsewhere.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean hotel with pleasant staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nicely furnished room, and a very welcome oasis after a 20 km hike.
Cons: Our room was in the newer addition to the hotel and our view was only onto the loading dock for the restaurant. I would recommend asking for a room in the original building with a nicer view. Also the restaurant has fairly poor vegetarian options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. We had dinner as well which was really nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location and property. Located at the basin of the majestic Pyrenees with a river flowing nearby, it feels like you have the mountains to yourself. It is magical. The staff was gracious and friendly and the food at the restaurant was top notch. I would absolutely refer this place to anyone looking to experience the Pyrenees.
Cons: Loved it all
6.7 Good
Pros: The location - quite stunning. We had a junior suite - comfortable
Cons: The hotel is tired and with an odd arrangement of different lifts and staircases. It shares certain features with most other paradors - a refusal to put the customer first in terms of meal times etc. So, the restaurant does not open until 20.00 and was then very busy (with a coach party). Our meals were served out of sequence - staff were stressed and service was therefore neither friendly nor efficient. There is never a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. The buffet breakfast was, as expected, a sad display of pre-prepared items - often tepid.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous location at the very end of a valley of the Pyrénées. The rooms are at the same time simple, rustic, but very comfortable. It is feels very confortable considering the location. The view on the mountains is simply stunning. The restaurant and breakfast are typical of the Paradores standards.
Cons: I wished that having a real dinner on the deck would be possible in the summertime. It is either snacking outside or proper dinner inside. It feels unfair to have to make this choice with such a beautiful view.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very well renovated Parador in a end-of-world location in the Pyrenees. Stunning views of an interesting countryside and nature. Lovely terrace, very good restaurant. Rooms have sufficient space though not very large. Very friendly and competent personnel, easy check-in and -out. Free parking on the premises.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely with stunning views.

Hostal Matazueras - Bielsa - Kitchen
5
7.8 Good (649 reviews)
C$ 90+
Overview Reviews
The Matazueras is ideal for those looking to spend some time in a quieter part of the Pyrenees. It offers impressive views. The rooms at the Hotel Matazueras are light and spacious. Some have balconies and free Wi-Fi, and all have central heating, TV and a bathroom with bath. The restaurant offers traditional dishes using fresh local ingredients. Specialities include roasted meats and homemade desserts. The bar serves tapas and snacks. The small town of Bielsa can be found in the Aragonese Pyrenees. The hotel is close to the Bielsa tunnel, which connects Spain and France.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Centre of a quaint little town. Restaurant attached made dinner easy.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: The room was extremely cold and when I turned on the heat, nothing happened. I told the owner that the heat was not working and I was told a pretty unbelievable story about the heat coming up at night when it is really cold and that the whole hotel was on the same heating system. The bedroom was so cold that I actually stayed in my car with the heat on for one hour before going back to the hotel and hoping the heat would be on. The heat never came up. But in the morning, the entrance of the hotel where the breakfast and owners were had nice heat...so I guess the owners decide who gets the heat: Him and his wife but definitely not the costumers. Honestly this hotel should not be on booking... Also the hair inside the bed was disgusting... Stay away from this hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is nice and speak spanish, french and english.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Located in the centre of an historic town
Cons: Weather was dire but not the hostal's fault; just not much to do when it's like that.
