7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was buffet style but the food was cold - tasty enough but cold which was a shame. We did pass this on to reception staff as we left.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable hotel with everything we needed for our short stay. All of the staff we met were professional, polite and friendly and we will definitely choose to stay again if we stay in the area again
Cons: N/A
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were very approachable and friendly The location of my stay was ideal The room was standard, expected for what we paid. Room was clean Scenery outside was lovely Free parking
Cons: Breakfast was overpriced. Breakfast should start earlier than 8am for business people The attitude of other guests who were part of a coach trip, believing they were superior and had more priority than other guests was unacceptable. Manager was informed of their behaviour. We had a 12 pm checkout but were made to leave the room at 11 for the cleaners I was also charged more for my stay, my booking price was not the same to what I paid
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant manner of staff
Cons: Bedroom chilly Cooked breakfast greasy; machine coffee unpleasant

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of parking Very quiet Room very spacious
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: - The hotel itself was nice, the building is old but pretty. - Nice breakfast food. - It was warm and the bed was comfy. - Ample parking.
Cons: We travelled 5 hours that day from Berkshire for a funeral so we were tired and not up in Bingley for pleasure. The “manager” checked us in. He started to check us in and asked me to sign the form for the room. I was holding my suit bag and coat on my left arm so I asked him to hold the paper steady while I signed but I was met with him saying "EXCUSE ME??" like I had just asked him to perform some sort of disgusting act. Not impressed, I was furious, how dare he speak to me like that!! Next my brother checked in, he asked the man where he should be signing and he received "Right there, you know, where it says signature". Again, drop the attitude, we're paying guests. We had pre-booked dinner for 8pm, we met some more of our family in the bar and had a drink. The man who checked us in came over to us and asked us for our orders, which to me was a bit strange but I went with it. He got to me and I ordered my starter and main course. When he asked for my dessert order I said I would wait until I had finished my main as I didn't know if I wanted one or not, but he replied with "I need to know your order now!" I said I'd like to wait. he said "but I'm asking now so give me your order!!!" I refused and waited until after the meal - so rude! The food was not good. My chicken was dry. The bread I had with my pate was from a packet. During breakfast we were served by a man who had a very dirty bandage around his hand a wrist, it wasn’t pleasant having a plate put in front of me with a smelly bandage right in front of my face. Not only that but it was a sad day and we just wanted to eat in peace. The man kept hanging around our table and butting into our conversations - not professional at all. On checkout we explained to the man on the desk (same guy who served breakfast) that my father wanted to settle the bill on his check out. He agreed but later that day I found out he charged my card.

Cons: Mould on the bathroom shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm, comfy clean rooms. Lovely breakfast. Friendly proprietor.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely, spacious, comfortable, cosy room with double aspect and a glorious view over the valley. The hotel bistro was, unfortunately, not open on the first evening of our stay due to unforeseen circumstances. The proprietor was most helpful in letting us know promptly and in recommending other places to eat nearby. It was within easy walking distance of Bingley Town Centre which has lots of lovely eateries and a large choice of takeaways if you didn't want to go to a restaurant. It is located in an absolutely perfect place for our family; bang inbetween my two nieces' homes, so it couldn't have been better. The train station is also less than 15 minutes away on foot and there seems to be a very regular bus service to Bradford and Keighley. If we had been driving there is an easily accessible, fairly spacious parking area in front of the hotel. The surroundings and views are beautiful as the hotel is about halfway up a hill. My husband loved it and he is very picky! Breakfast choices were simple, well-cooked and delicious.
Cons: I'm afraid I did not enjoy the milk for the breakfast coffee at all. The hotel bar and restaurant are not open on Sunday evenings. Guests are informed of this in advance, however.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, privacy, relaxed. Pleasant bar area. Excellent breakfast
Cons: Wasn’t sure the towels were as fresh as they could be.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great for us our our meeting next day. We did go to look at the 5 locks and they are amazing and very worth a visit. Usually I prefer an anonymous box hotel but this was very good and recommended.
Cons: This hotel is exactly what they say they are, the ratings support this. So nothing to not like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room nice and cosy even in bad weather outside
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy to locate ... fabulous setting the gardens were awesome and full of nature. Parking on site. Good Food and awesome staff who made me feel very welcome.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing - although to be fair the shower was good
Cons: Freezing cold room - obviously not used that often because we had a dog with us. Second night was Friday and there was a function. They might as well have been in the room with us... I know who’ve the apprentice I f the year is! No problem with a function or noise but the hotel lied telling us we should have had an email about the function. How about not putting us in a room above the function suite?!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The quietest night I've had in a hotel and the mattress was the comfiest I've ever slept on. Staff were also lovely.
Cons: Large cobweb in the room. Exceptionally cold bathroom floor

Cons: Shower not very good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Check in was very smooth. Staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was great and yes, the room was comfortable but we had 2 rooms and mine was very small. The hotel appeared to be quiet that night and I did think I might have been offered a larger room but I might only be saying this because my colleague had a much larger and more comfortable room. No other issues at all.
Cons: See above
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Only stayed one night. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room quite spacious and warm. Heated towel rail and huge towels! Excellent value for money.

4.8 Okay
Cons: Don't expect to get to sleep before 1 am because of the banging music. No adequate response when raising this with Reception. No apology. Another two guests were also complaining to the Reception about the noise as we were leaving.
4.7 Okay
Cons: The hotel grounds are beautiful but the hotel is disappointing, we had an executive double room which was very small. The lift is scary and only goes up to the first floor and the breakfast was poor.

Cons:
4.0 Okay
Pros: the hotel is very modern and is in fantastic grounds
Cons: the room did not have basics like hairdryers ,iron etc,,and when asked for waited an hour and they still did not arrive
6.4 Good
Pros: Ease of access. Arrived late but restaurant waitress welcomed me. Service in restaurant very good. Interesting menu with good choice and fair prices. Prawn tempora - only 3 prawms! Scallops cooked really well (soft and buttery) could do with more flavour. Otherwise excellent. Breakfast also good - real sausages, good bacon and non-slushy scrambled egss. Well done! Over all the staff showed 'old fashioned' friendliness and good manners.
Cons: Bed hard and TV channel range very limited

Cons: Could be a little expensive eating and drinking there
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I was staying at the Innkeeper's Lodge just as the country was closing down because of coronavirus and needed to stay locally to take care of a family member. James, Karen, and the rest of the team were very accommodating even under difficult circumstances. The rooms in the Innkeeper's Lodge above the Cow and Calf have been recently refurbished to a very high standard and are excellent value. The room was always clean and well stocked and the breakfast in the morning was great too, with a good selection of cereals and cooked meals and a beautiful view over Ilkley Moor. I highly recommend the Innkeeper's Lodge and hope it's not too long before I'm able to return.

Pros: The room was very nice but found due to being right at the top of the hotel the bathroom was very cold and it only had a coffee making machine which I do not drink coffee. The dinner was very nice and the breakfast was well cooked the staff all helpful
Cons: I found the main bar area very cold feeling due to no curtains or blinds on the windows and due to being winter no log fires burning any were I think they make a place very welcoming Also one table is so large it feels as if you are talking to someone at the end of the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a terrific time at Wheatley. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. A great shower, plus a fine large bathtub in the bedroom! The breakfast was superb, with salmon, eggs, croissants, plus cereal and juice and good coffee. Fine food at dinner. Pros: Our stay was fantastic. It was easy to find, check in was simple and friendly (although Storm Dennis nearly blew us off over the moors!) We had a delicious meal at the pub, and the breakfast was great.
Cons: Absolutely no complaints
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Dog & Gun (adjacent building) was lovely. Friendly atmosphere and excellent breakfast and dinner. Sauna was good too.
Cons: Temperature of the swimming pool was very cold. This was really disappointing as the pool was the main reason we booked this hotel. Made doubly annoying because there was a large box containing a Pool Heater standing unopened at the side of the pool!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed our stay food was great bar was lovely all round good stay.
Cons: Everything was good
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and the food was brilliant.
Cons: I loved the pool, but it could have done with being a little warmer. It would have been useful to have some walking maps to look at.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lots of parking, the pub next door did great food so a great bonus if you don't want to travel far. The self-catered room was spacious. There was a great welcome pack of tea / sugar / milk. Great country view from the room.
Cons: We unfortunately were there in the middle of a snow storm, obviously not their fault but we were without power for one evening, also in the wind the skylight window / blind rattled most of the night which meant that night we didn't get much sleep - but I'm sure on a normal day it would have been fine, we were just unlucky. We did also find that the main part of the house was very warm but the other rooms (kitchen / dining room were quite cold) though there were additional heaters if needed. The water was fine but it did tend to spurt on & off every now & then.

Cons: No phone signal - but that is not the fault of the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was fantastic. The best steak and ale pie I have ever had. Beautiful setting Clean Staff friendly .
Cons: Everything was excellent
7.0 Good
Pros: Very friendly and lovely food. I always appreciate the friendliness of a stay towards my dog and this one has it in spades, both in the bar and the resident lounge area. The room was clean with ample storage. The bathroom very clean and noted especially around the shower tray. The bed was very comfortable for a good night's sleep and it was quiet after 11 pm.
Cons: The single room, 11 is very small with only a skylight for light and fresh air. As it was raining and directly above the bed I had to leave it shut. I arrived at 4pm quite tired after my long journey but didn't nap as the room was noisy from the bar music and the neighbouring rooms. The information did warn me it might be noisy. The bathroom sink is too small to do anything but brush my teeth and nowhere to put my wash bag. The mirrors in both rooms were also too small. The light at the emergency exit was not working! Breakfast stated at 8.30 am, would have liked breakfast at 8 pm, managed 8.20 which made me late for my onward appointment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was warm and cosy, lovely clean white fluffy towels, soft comfy bedding and such friendly staff ( we loved hearing the kitchen staff singing)!! The food was delicious the venison, partridge and pheasant pie was mouth watering my good! We were so welcomed it felt very homely

Pros: A lovely warm welcome. Excellent food
Cons: Comfortable and welcoming
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, provided the perfect gateway to many walking routes. Food was excellent and staff were so friendly and helpful. We booked a table for our evening meal and were able to relax and take our time. Sadly, we just didn't have room for a pudding.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old inn, only a short taxi ride from Haworth (which was exactly what we needed). All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We booked a meal for that evening and the food was really good! Especially loved the white chocolate, honey and almond cheesecake! Breakfast the following morning was also excellent. A very welcoming little inn which had everything we needed for our one night stay.
Cons: Our room was a little on the small side (but given the cost, wasn't an issue and it had everything we needed). Good for one night but maybe not for longer......main issue for me was it didnt have a full length mirror anywhere in the room (but I'm being picky there). The shower temperature wasnt constant and kept going hot and cold but was ok. Not a massive issue for us.... Generally a nice little inn and for a one night stay, would use it again. As I said above, for the money, it was great value and very clean!

Cons: Wasn’t sure the towels were as fresh as they could be.

Pros: The breakfast was buffet style but the food was cold - tasty enough but cold which was a shame. We did pass this on to reception staff as we left.
