This resort is located in a great spot for those looking for a nice, relaxing beach vacation, or those who want to be close to the nightlife and the energetic town centers. BelleVue Dominican Bay is close to the beach and the towns so everyone gets what they want.

The resort consists of 18 different buildings with 365 rooms. All of them have air conditioning, TVs, balconies, and some can be booked with adjoining rooms. Guests can choose to have views of the gardens or the pool. Some rooms have been recently updated also. There are private bathrooms with bathtubs and showers and extra amenities available on request.

Guests at the BelleVue Dominican Bay can dine at nine different restaurants on the property. One is the main buffet, Hibiscus. There’s also a Caribbean restaurant with a la carte options and an Italian restaurant with a la carte options. There’s a snack bar at the beach and one by the main pool too. Guests can also have cocktails from eight different bars located throughout the resort. Other options in town aren’t far away either.

BelleVue Dominican Bay has five pools, a Kids Zone, tennis courts, watersports gear for guests’ use, dance classes, shows during the day and in the evening, and a Mangrove Forest with Ecological Park. There are also the towns of Boca Chica and Santo Domingo that have more offerings for things to do.

BelleVue Dominican Bay is located right next to the most popular beach in the Dominican Republic. Guests can spend all of their time right at the resort with plenty to do, or take a trip into the villages to find some local entertainment too.

Pros (+) Polite junior workers at the restaurant and bars.
Cons (-) Front desk staff awful!! Took almost 3 minutes to notice my son and me. And then, very rude to us. Bad plumbing in the room! Takes more than half hour for sink and bathtub to drain. A/C doesn't cool even at lowest setting. Very old furniture. No plans for a return visit.
