Delayed flight and no answer from the rental company before they closed. Unable to collect car and so had to find another one. Was then charged a fee for no show!!

Thanks for a great hire experience. Very friendly & helpful staff in Bordeaux. Unfortunately there was no person at the desk in Beauvais, on our return. Car was great, better than the booking suggestion 🙂

Terrible divide between corporate and the people who actually rent the cars. Spent hundreds of dollars of our own money for two separate taxis because of a broken down car and we were treated like animals by the manager at Bordeaux airport. Go elsewhere for a rental because if something wrong happens it's a bit of a nightmare.

Premium SUV

The car i booked was not in parking area, so i was offered to change. I've chosen Tesla Y. I was said it could cost maybe 50€ per day more. Finally i paid 3 times more that initial booking price at Expedia - 1420€ vs 480€. I spent a whole hour in talkings. Finally my wife get nervous. So i agreed the new offer. But i was forced to do so

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation due to COVID 19 restrictions. Though the company claimed they gave full refunds if cancelled prior to the reservation date when I tried to cancel the reservation online the website would not allow me to do so. I contacted their customer service and was told I could only do that 20 days before my reservation date I said this was unacceptable as that is not stated in the contract. He said he would put it through yet I recieved an email in early April asking me did I still want to cancel and if yes I would get my refund. This was at least 1 month after my cancellation. Then on the 2nd of April I received this email Dear Customer, We’ve received your request to cancel your booking. Your refund will be processed in 20 business days. Get more to spend on your next trip We know travel plans have been disrupted by Covid-19. If you are going to rebook your trip in the future, opt for a voucher instead and we’ll give you up to 25% extra. For example if your original booking was €200 we’ll give you a voucher for €250. To learn more and to secure this offer, please click below:

It was probably the worst experience in renting a car. The manager was trying to up charge, so from 168 originally booked at Kayak the final price became 570. We ended up walking away

The location of the Hertz rental agency in Bordeaux Gare St Jean does not have enough signs for the parking garage ( circled about 2-3 times) and for the location of the office. Please get signs and provide exact directions to the parking garage. Thank you.

Charged me $130 to clean the car at drop off. Over years and years, I’ve never been charged for cleaning. Had I known, I would have pulled off and vacuumed it myself for $5. Didn’t want to miss my flight, or I’d have done it. The staff were great, but the cleaning fee is completely out of the ordinary.
