Residhome Bordeaux

Great location. A small one bedroom unit with cooking facilities. 24 hours front desk and easy walk to the river and a tram 1/2 block from the unit.

A little noisy on a Sat night but got quiet after a while

We were delighted with the Residhome, which definitely exceeded our expectations. We had a quiet room overlooking roof garden at the rear. Room, bathroom and kitchen space were all immaculately clean, and very well-equipped. We spent 2 nights here on our way home from renting an apartment in Biarritz, and the Residhome kitchen space was far better equipped and cleaner than in that (more expensive) apartment. All staff whom we met spoke fluent English, and were very friendly and efficient. Car parking under the building (ask in advance for directions to reach it!) Tram line (very quiet and efficient) runs past the door every five minutes or so, and takes you to city centre in 5 -10 minutes. 24 hour ticket costs 5 euros. Garonne river and spectacular bridge are just across the road, lots of cafes along riverside. Excellent location. We fully intend to return for a longer stay in the next few months.

Difficult to think of anything - maybe a slightly more powerful shower, if that is possible?

The location and of ease of travel from the airport - shuttle and then tram (stop across the street) was excellent and cost efficient. Also having a supermarket just a few steps away for your meals/wine was a bonus. Did not have breakfast or eat at local restaurants so cannot comment. Stroll to Cite de Vin and along river. Excellent location! Small table and chair folded up in the closet.

Need more dish washing soap and garbage bags/containers.

Great location, a relaxing walk along the riverside or short tram ride to the centre of this historic city. Well appointed apartment and friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely return.
