Pros: The view
Cons: The bar under the hotel
Pros: Good breakfast. Excellent shower.
Cons: Rooms were on the cramped side, price was high, but this is Scandinavia, so it's expected.
Pros: The room was big, comfortable and very clean. As it is situated right next to the centrum so, everything was quite nearby. Good breakfast spread.
Pros: The place was as promised. Recently refurbished tastefully. We were allocated a bigger room, that was comfortable for a family of 2 adults and 2kids. One of the best restaurants in the town was right downstairs, with excellent breakfast. IKEA and Kupolen shopping centre was just a 15 min walk away. The parking right next to the hotel was reasonably priced with few places always available.
Cons: Though the stay was most been positive,we did have a negative experience. My wife cut herself bad on a nail in corner of a bed that was difficult to notice. Thankfully it wasn't one of the kids. We found the staff at reception a bit cold to the issue, not even a 'sorry' was forthcoming.
Pros: very nice personell, including checkin (free upgrade! :-) ) , the cleaninh lady and restaurant personnel. superb breakfast!
Cons: busy restaurant at dinner ended up being a bit of Murphy; we arrived at 8 but had to come back 40 minutes later. then an order was mixed up and we had one person waiting for another 15 minutes; paying bill took long because of the orders were lost. but the total restaurant is very good, including food and people were very nice and helpful translating the menu.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Spacious room and bathroom. Plenty of options for breakfast and very good food. Self check-in and out was very easy and really great after a long day not wanting to have that interaction with staff :) no iron in the room but we asked at reception and were given an iron and ironing board promptly. Great service and would definitely stay again!
Cons: Quite a few loud, strange noises at night! We also couldn't get the TV in the living area to work. I belive it said slippers and a robe were in the room but these were not available - not a huge problem for us but may be for some. Beds are a little too soft (definitely sleepable but not to my liking) Other than that it was great!
Pros: The room was so new and/or in such good condition that we think it must have been renovated earlier this year, yet they still allowed us to take our dog in with us (for a small extra charge). A superb shower (some serious power in those jets!) and a comfy bed (with a huge pillow), all combined with a really good breakfast, made our stay really pleasant. There were a couple of members of staff who were both helpful and chatty too, which did nothing to dampen our enthusiasm for the place. Oh, and the room had bowls on the floor for the dog's food and water - a nice touch, that, even if we had our own bowls with us. We will go back to this hotel again, one day - we were very impressed.
Cons: There was a lot of noise from the pub/restaurant under the hotel, but it was a Friday evening in the summer, so what should one expect? They went quiet down there at 11pm, after which you could have heard a pin drop for the rest of the night. We thought this was all pretty reasonable - a sensible compromise between hotel guests wanting a good night's sleep and pub customers wanting a good time after a week's work. Nobody likes paying extra for taking one's four-legged friend on holiday, and there are hotels that charge nothing extra, so the 200kr supplement we paid here wasn't appreciated. That said, the total cost was still about the same as we'd paid the night before for a hostel in another town, where the room was 100m from the actual hotel, the bathroom was at least 20m down a corridor from our room, and the breakfast was (in comparison) poor, so we're really struggling to find anything to complain about First Hotel in Borlänge!

Pros: Very nice breakfast and location. Very nice that they also have a charger for electric cars!
Pros: The location which is fantastic
Cons: It's good for 1-2 days stay but not longer.
Pros: Easy to find and get to, with ample free parking. Located close to shopping complex. Staff were friendly. Restaurant - Broken Dreams - good food and drinks. If you like beer they have over 300 to choose from. Rooms were comfortable but need face lift.
Cons: Bathroom old and needed maintenance. If you insist on having a shower in a bath then put in some safety rails to hold onto.
Pros: breakfast was good, unfortunately 1st of May the restaurant was closed and could not get anything to eat in the evening unless going out in the city

Pros: Easily accessible, comfortable rooms (with blackout curtains) and an excellent breakfast
Pros: location, breakfast
Cons: No free tea or hot water Charge of parking in the parking lot in front of the entrance
Pros: All services were at good level, except the retuarant
Cons: The restuarant’s service quality during the dinner time was very poor! it took more than an hour for a salad and a sandwich to be ready while only 4 tables were full. when we asked why would be the reason for the delay and why they did not tell us in advance, surprisingly we were told ”that is how it is and we can not do anything for you!” we aksed for the bill and it took another 15 minutes for us to realize we need to go to cashier to pay! this hotel seriously needs to train their restuarant staff. If I stay there again I will plan to have my meal somewhere else

Pros: Made my own breakfast in the pentry which had a good-size fridge
