7.0 Good
Pros: Nice location, good breakfast, kids were happy to stay in a trailer.
Cons: We were a bit surprised that we had to pay extra for the sheets, should be included when it is a B&B.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Owners super helpful and forthcoming. Perfect location and pet-friendly accommodation. What more do you want?
6.3 Good
Pros: It was close to Bouillon by car.
Cons: The beds and the pillows were not comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, owner is very nice, house is half under the ground which makes it feel like a little cave. The children were enchanted, very nice backyard and great breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, it was a fun stay, cabana fully equipped, we made diner inside, everything was very clean, very nice for couples with young children, the owner was very nice and gave us a ton of information.
Cons: The bathroom, although nice, was a tad small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little place, away from almost anything but close enough to not be a problem. Very good value, secure parking and great breakfast. Owner was very helpful
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was fantastic, a lovely little character house within a beautiful setting, and the owner was very helpful with all our queries. The children loved the gardens and the 2 extremely friendly dogs and enjoyed sitting on the terrace tickling the dogs tummies. I am dog phobic but was completely comfortable with these 2 dogs. The option of having fresh bread and pastries delivered in the morning was great because it meant that we could make a packed lunch for our busy day in Bouillon to eat beside the river. I would definitely recommend this wonderful accommodation to any groups but particularly if you have children.
Cons: There was nothing that could have been improved!
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is very good. Only 1km from the main road and still in a very quiet place, not in the center of the city. The owners were nice and the kitchen was well orgenized to cook our own mills. Maybe this is the reason that we met the owner only at check in and out.
Cons: The stairs to the second floor(all rooms) is almost impossible mission, especialy with suitcases. Very steepy and narrow. Maybe it is our fault that we did not take the breakfast, we missed the opportunity to talk with the owner and to get from his recommandation about the region.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great views Excellent breakfast Large room with nice bath
Cons: Half board dinner was perfectly adequate just not very exciting
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A superb and quiet location in a delightful town; breakfast and evening meal food was really good, and all with a really good view over the town below. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: We encountered some problems with the electrics in the bedroom - e.g. the Minibar wasn't working on arrival, and even after the socket had been changed barely provided any cooling. Likewise one of the side lights to the main bed wasn't working.

Pros: Food + View + Town + Scenery + Local Roads

Pros: Excellent cooking and service. Value for money. Good location for outdoor activities, and quiet at night. Lovely views across the valley to the opposite bank of the Semois.

Il Siciliano - Duc de Bouillon - Bouillon - Bedroom
4
8.9 Excellent (33 reviews)
C$ 118+
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cosy room, full breakfast, good facilities and location. Handy to have the combination of a hotel and restaurant. Friendly staff who was willing to give more info about the Bouillon. We could also fluently ask questions before arriving at the hotel. Good price - quality.
Cons: First experience with WiFi and towels wasn’t good but the staff immediately solved the problem. Other than that we didn’t face other troubles and had a great stay there.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Clean room with a big bath room with a good decoration. Agrrement to come at the breakfast half on hour before the opening and everywithing was ready.
Cons: No wifi accessible in my room. Poor quality of TV reception. Blackout during half a hour at 10PM. Lot of noise in the hotel (drunk guys make a lot of noise until 1AM !!!). Restaurant is close, no reception when we arrived (wait of 5min outside under the rain).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel in the center of Bouillon. The room was spacious and clean. The lady that was responsible for the rooms was very helpful. At the entrance of the hotel there is an Italian restaurant that makes nice pizzas.
Cons: The shower does not have a curtain and the bathroom needs also more hangers. In the breakfast we found some butter long expired that smell really bad (i guess it was the exception because breakfast was nice and plentiful).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good reception by owner. She is helpful, kind and hardworking.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The entire establishment was absolutely spotless and well decorated and equipped . The owner or manager was a constant presence in both the hotel and restaurant . Our room was an excellent value and included breakfast . The location was comparable to another top hotel next door that had a view of that river and castle but that charged considerably more . We were pleased to have found it .
Cons: the bathroom was at a funny angle and there was no view outside our window .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and nice hotel
Cons: No one on reception and hotel locked when we got there
9.3 Excellent
Pros: fabulous location, great staff and lovely breakfast. Bouillon is a lovely town and well worth a visit and our stay at il Siciliano was great.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant downstairs is really good, foods are delicious with good price and big portions. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and nice decoration. Location is great.
Cons: WIFI only works on the ground floor. We stayed on the second floor and barely got the signal. It is pretty hard to find parking.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, nice pizza restaurant with high quality ingredients, hot water pressure.
Cons: Mattress not firm enough, very thin walls could hear neighbors’ activities, we had window opening to a kitchen prep area so also had those noises.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with excellent views from some rooms. Friendly staff and good location.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Service was on-point with really good food. The breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were quaint and cosy. Great experience.
Cons: The shampoo ran out and the stairway is narrow and creaky, but it forms part of the charm. Would not recommend for people with large suitcases.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely building located above the town. The room had amazing views over the town and castle. Also had a lovely sized balcony to sit and relax and take in the views.
Cons: Bathroom was a bit small although it did have a nice large corner bath
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel at excellent location in Bouillon, at walking distance from centre ville. The hotel/restaurant is situated on a hill and has a fabulous garden with evening sun overlooking the city and its castle: a true gem after a long drive. Nice restaurant with a good collection of wines and attentive staff.
Cons: Room was located on the top floor where it was very very warm and with no aircon or even a ventilator available. Room also quite dated, with an uncomfortable mattress. A bunch of mattresses and other equipment was stashed in the hallway (not a very tidy look)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place is family run and there is a good attention to detail, especially for families. They have three kids so know what it is like trying to find a room for everyone to fit comfortably, that is not extortionate. Our room was lovely and spacious and they had arranged for the kids to sleep upstairs and for us adults below. The bathroom was very clean and well lit. Apparently built 10 years ago but it looks brand new. The furnishings were warm and neutral, a bit like a chalet in the country: Lots of raw wood and French carved lamp stands and exposed beams. We had a balcony / terrace backing on to a wooded area which was nice. It felt as if we were in a treehouse.
Cons: The restaurant is supposed to be very good but was not open so we never got to experience it, which was a shame. A lamp was not working over where the luggage stand was, making it hard to rummage in the dark. Wi-Fi was not working, despite showing full signal. Mentioned it to the owners who asked us to double-check things were plugged in (they were) and yet it was never solved as they never followed up and we were only there for one night so did not have the energy to make a big thing of it. We lived with it but is inconvenient if you wish to watch something being streamed or call family abroad which can be very data-heavy pastimes. A bit short on towels for 5 people, but I'm sure they'd have brought us more if we had asked.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a small, family run hotel in a lovely house on the hill above the town. It boasts a fabulous view across the river valley to the medieval castle. While we didn't spring for the balcony rooms we really enjoyed the terrace overlooking the town, where you can relax and enjoy a beer and the beautiful view. Breakfast in the grand dining room was both excellent and good value. The location is handy for visiting the town on foot.
Cons: We dined in the hotel's gastronomic restaurant, and we both found the menu to be highly confusing. The choices available for the set menus were unclear and we had a hard time figuring out which dishes were starters and which were mains. The staff tried to help but didn't do a good job of explaining - in part because of the language barrier (my French is rather rusty). The food was decent enough, but we would have enjoyed the experience more if we'd better understood the choices available.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful hosts. A beautiful setting overlooking the town. A talented chef and wholesome food. We had a great view of the light show at the castle from the beautiful garden terrace
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very attractive house, high on the hill in Bouillon with beautiful views of the town.
Cons: The breakfast was quite extensive but compared to others we sampled on our tour with thought it was rather overpriced for the quantities offered.

5.0 Okay
Pros: breakfast was ok
Cons: the bathroom is not good.
6.3 Good
Pros: Excellent views of Bouillon despite the rain and mist. Although we were the only guests the kitchen was available to us.
Cons: Because we were the only guests there was no evening food available so the available kitchen was a god send. As it is a hostel and not a hotel it may be a bit expensive. We also thought that there would be a drying room.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location and the view from the room were really nice. From the windows of the room, we could see the castle. The breakfast was good, with a considerable variety of food. The staff was friendly.
Cons: Even when booking a private room, the bathroom is shared, which makes it a bit uncomfortable. Plus, the bed consisted of two twin beds, and as we were a couple, it was hard to sleep together.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great value for money. Friendly staff. Amazing view from the hostel. Very good breakfast. And last but the most important - local beer in the bar is fantastic!

10.0 Excellent

Cons: Everything was perfect
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice big rooms and friendly owner. Nice and quiet in a picturesque setting with good dog walks. Local town Bouillon offers good restaurants.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house with lovely garden in the middle of the forest. 15 minutes drive and you are in medieval Bouillon, with the most beautiful castle! The owner was absent, so it was really quite and pieceful. We had breakfast on the sunny balcony. Great!
Cons: Breakfast was very simple (and we took it ourselves from the kitchen), but the owner discussed this with us beforehand.
6.8 Good
Pros: The warm welcome by our host Marc, simple but tasty breakfast, beautiful house and garden, lovely location in the middle of the woods. And the fact that our dog was welcome was very nice too!
Cons: The bathroom was a bit shabby and could do with some refurbishment. Wooden floors would be better than carpet in the room, especially for people that are allergic to dust. Some fruit on the table during breakfast would be nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: La Maison de l'Eveil is the perfect location for anyone looking for a quiet out-of-the-way accommodation. Staying there is like being a guest at a friend's country country estate, a feeling made that much more pleasurable by Mark, the owner and gregarious host of the place. Nearby are hiking trails through the hills and forests of this wilderness--at least by Belgium standards, we are from Canada--area, and it's an easy scenic drive to the Semois Valley and Bouillon and its Chateau/Fort. I not only would recommend the Belgium-bound traveler spend a few days at La Maison de l'Eveil: I would assert that it is an imperative for anyone who wants to experience Belgium outside its many charming cities.
Cons: There was not one thing we disliked.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A nice location if you are looking for an escape from the city - nature all around it. The room was very big and comfortable, and we could stay with our dog. The owner is very nice and friendly.
Cons: Make sure you take cash-other methods of payment are not accepted (transfer is also possible). Wifi connection is very slow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice house with garden view. Very quite. Very friendly owner.
Cons: Walls are thin, so we have heard our neigbors as well as they have heard us. (Children's games) :))
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location, and the landlord was very welcoming and accommodating. Everything was faultless. I really enjoyed my stay and the area was peaceful and relaxing

5.8 Okay
Pros: Perfect breakfast and the breakfast staff was very pleasent, particularly and old dame who was in charge or that task. The place is great and it is easy to park and eat something.
Cons: The welcome and particularly the boss was not so nice and in bad mood. Matress and pillow are too strong, and there's some noise (probably from a fridge located outside or in the kitchen) in room 101. Nobody asked us if we were happy of the room and service during checkout...
5.8 Okay
Pros: Paintings on the walls and location
Cons: Parking was supposed to be on site, it was only public parking which was full in early afternoon
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The view.
Cons: The comfort of the beds.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: wi fi not available in the room
Cons: wifi strength
4.5 Okay
Pros: The hotel being situated on the river side, close to the cute old town really is it's only good point.
Cons: The hotel lacks soul and the rooms and decor are tired looking and outdated. Tile floors in the rooms make it cold and unpleasant. In fact, heating was off and the room freezing when we arrived, which definitely doesn't make for a welcoming feel. And about feeling welcome, there's a warning at every wall or in the lifts or at breakfast: hospitality does not in any way seem to be on the owners' /managers' minds at all. Towels are washed out grey or yellow, rather than white. The mattress felt like cardboard and foam blocks serve as pillows, preventing a good night's sleep. Breakfast was meagre with low quality cold cuts and cheese, old bread and a lady (owner?) shouting after you where stuff is, therefore not allowing for a quiet, relaxing breakfast (it's not included anyway, so you're better off going somewhere nice). Having travelled a lot, we had a laugh with how bad the hotel was and we only stayed 1 night, so it was doable. But it baffled us how a place like this can have 3 stars.
5.3 Okay
Pros: At first, the staff seemed curt, but later the manager was quite helpful. The location was also very good.
Cons: I've never seen: 1). A hotel in a cold climate with tiles on the floor with no carpeting! Gave it a cold, impersonal feeling. 2.) A TV with a controlled maximum volume! Wasn't very loud!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The chef/owner was very attenti8ve to his guests and provided a very high standard of cuisine.
Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: Good location, nice village.
Cons: In need of some improvements - radiator did not work properly (too hot) and hairdryer hose was broken.
7.3 Good
Pros: Great location, very friendly staff. The room was clean and had a nice view of the river. Quiet location and good breakfast (the warm bread in the morning was wonderful!).
Cons: The room did not look like the picture (we did not have a four poster bed). The bed was really uncomfortable.
5.3 Okay
Pros: Very good location
6.3 Good
Pros: Good Hotel Beautiful location
Cons: Breakfast commencing at 8.30 was quite late
6.0 Good
Pros: Nice room with river view, hotel is on a quiet road, outside eating and drinking area.
Cons: No negative points at all
6.0 Good
Pros: in the town, close to castle
Cons: cold in the room
7.0 Good
Pros: Manager Alain was very friendly.
Cons: Friends said shared bathrooms lacked privacy - I understand there were open cubicles for shower and toilets in same space.
6.0 Good
Pros: The view and the location excellent. Staff very helpful.
Cons: The internet could be only accessed through a cable in the lobby. I guess that it is close to impossible to get to it in high season.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient, close to town and quiet. Had a great night's sleep. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: No real problem. The owner did not speak English (we speak English, some German and some Spanish), but we were still able to communicate okay with her and she was very kind.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location and friendly owners.
Cons: The rooms are small, but, this is made up by being able to use the living room and kitchen facilities.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The building smelt stale. It was dirty in places and generally run down it felt unclean. They had a dog( who is lovely) but in the general open area used for guests the carpet was full of dog hairs and looked liked it had never seen a hoover☹️ Room was small. Landlady could not speak English but we got by as we did not need to interact with them much.

5.2 Okay
Pros: Good position in town of Bouillon
Cons: Dog in adjoining room disturbed us in the night. Group of 10+ young ladies were noisy, visiting each others rooms, banging doors, hairdryer going at 5.30 am.
