Pros: Easy to find, good parking, convinately located for Calais about an hours drive. Bed was firm and comfortable, slept well.

Pros: I loved the quirkness of it. And it was so easy to check in.

Cons: No shower gel
Pros: The location was close to the motorway access point.
Cons: Automated check in very unfriendly. Did not see any staff until check out time.

Cons: Somethings seemed a bit random, room with kettle was open, then later it was locked.

Cons: Room was very hot, facing setting sun and the window shutters had been left open. Thought the reception was staffed 24/7, but not the case on weekends it seems.
Pros: You were welcomed at the front desk with a coffee and a home made treat ~ property very clean and comfortable
Pros: This hotel is very handy for the motorway, but in a leafy, fairly quiet location. Reception is friendly, the rooms are more attractive than some similar hotels, the wifi is good, the bed comfortable.
Cons: The only small quibble is the lack of tea-making facilities in the room, but that is not unusual in France.
Pros: Good breakfast, excellent front of house with great English language, good recommendation for local food, the family room was good but a bit cramped in our opinion
Cons: The room was a bit small and there was no evening restaurant, although there are places within walking distance.

With a stay at Campanile Bethune Fouquieres in Fouquieres-les-Bethune, you'll be 14.5 mi (23.3 km) from Louvre-Lens and 24.6 mi (39.6 km) from Citadel of Lille. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful getting us a taxi in minutes (Also great Taxi driver). The food was excellent and parking was plentiful, we very much enjoyed our stay
Cons: No complaints at all
Pros: Great overnight stop, just off the motorway. Room and bathroom clean, very adequate. Check in easy. Stayed here many times before.
Cons: Pillows were disappointing, very lumpy, and sink in bathroom very slow to drain. However, the most disappointing aspect for us was the VERY long wait for our evening meal to arrive. Food was fine when it came, but our meals arrived separately and we had to remind staff about side orders. Then at breakfast there was no fresh or cold milk available, so we had no cereals or my anticipated cup of tea! The only milk available was hot! When I asked if there was cold milk I was told ‘no’ with a shrug of the shoulders, not good service! We have stayed here or at the Premiere Classe on the same site, every year for many years going south and north. This is the first year we have been disappointed, such a shame!
Pros: Good location from Calais
Cons: Being given our bill at the start of our meal. We had to have this changed because we had not ordered any wine and the coffee was presumed to be black only. Not had this before, but we did wonder why when ordering our food the waitress asked if we would be having coffee. Realised when the bill arrived before our meal why she had asked! Not experienced this before with the Campanile hotels.
Pros: In a great location for Calais, room was clean tidy and a lovely shower, staff were great and restaurant normal good Campanile food
Cons: Campaniles always in need of a lick of paint and bathroom always need resealing but what do you expect for the cost!
Pros: Ideal location for a stop within about an hour of the Channel Tunnel. Lovely breakfast. McDs and KFC close by although they closed at 11pm. Good option for 3 person room - proper trundle bed not a sofa bed.
Cons: We made a late booking en route to the hotel and the receptionist could not find any record of the booking. Signposting could be larger and clearer. Look out carefully.
Pros: Reasonable breakfast. Close to the motorway and an hour from Calais.
Cons: A bit tired and not especially well maintained. Could do with a bit of a spruce up.
Cons: The TV was stuck on high Volume
Pros: Enjoyed breakfast for four mornings and one evening meal. Good food. Helpful and pleasant staff and no problems with language.
Pros: Excellent location for visiting the Somme War Graves and surrounding towns.
Pros: Convenient to motorway
Cons: All good

Pros: Breakfast outstanding, location excellent Staff really nice. evening food great!
Cons: No taxi's available (unless you want 30 minutes for one to arrive. So best to plan ahead.
Pros: Good location on way back to the Eurotunnel. Plenty of bars and places to eat. Nice breakfast. Parked in the square.
Cons: No air conditioning and it was very hot. Shower was over the bath but not attached.
Cons: A formerly elegant city hotel, fallen on hard times. Staff attention is focused on the adjoining bar-restaurant (in a prime location and accordingly busy, but very poorly reviewed). There’s often nobody on the front desk, so checking in or out is a lottery. Rooms are cosmetically tired, and aren’t adequately cleaned; stairways are dirty.
Pros: All the staff were very helpful. I appreciated breakfast being available early as I was on my to the Tunnel.
Cons: As I was travelled from Italy to UK with a dog I would have preferred not to have been in the city centre but that was my fault for not checking the exact location.
Pros: Superb location with safe parking outside for the motorcycle. In a Great town square.
Cons: Could do with a fan for the room
Pros: It’s central position, good street parking, nice management.
Cons: Initial reception very poor. I was seen , not attended to and when I was the keys were thrown at me with no ceremony.
Pros: The setting of the hotel.
Cons: No Aircon, No fans, music below our window until 2am the noise until approx 4am. ☹️

Pros: Great location on main square in town. Good restaurant attached.
With a stay at Citotel B Hotel in Bethune, you'll be 15.6 mi (25 km) from Louvre-Lens and 24.1 mi (38.8 km) from Citadel of Lille. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice breakfast. Pleasant room.
Cons: The double bed mattress was a bit too soft.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for those passing through
Cons: Our room was a bit hot (unusually hot for the season and we couldn't levae the window open because the lights outside our room.
Pros: The hotel and it's rooms is of a very good standard of decor and finish. The staff are very capable and helpful. Given the record temperatures in France during our stay air conditioning would be a major asset to the Hotel. I would have readily paid 10 euros more for the night for an air conditioned room.
Cons: As above, air conditioning.
Pros: Nice decor
Cons: We were in a family room with our 2 year old in the single bed. When she woke in the morning, she had around 20 bed bug bites on her arm and a further 10 on her leg. (Plus one on her cheek.) Reception was shut when we checked out, so we couldn't speak to anyone about it. We emailed the property directly -- no response. We thus emailed their central office -- again, no reply. Very disappointed!
Pros: aroma of drains in room, internal window in bathroom
Cons: window in bathroom,no kettle /cups
Pros: Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Ideally suited opposite the train station for travellers passing through. Easy walking distance to main square and restaurants.
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Room was quite large, bed very confortable. The shower room was very cute too. Good location, right in front of trainstation. Many fast-food near the area.
Cons: We arrived in a very hot day (32+) and there is not a/c in the rooms (which was clearly stated in the booking), no fan available. Also, the windows have no nets, so it was all you can drink buffet for the local mosquitoes. Finally, there are some heavy construction work being done right in front of the hotel. Some workers started using heavy tools from 06am, which I am pretty sure is not allowed that early in the morning. Also, the window curtains in the bathroom are almost transparent. I hope the construction site workers enjoyed my dad bod. Finally, I had to convince my panicked 6 yearold daughter (who lives with me in Japan) that it wasnt an earthquake she was feeling, just the hotel shaking because of freight trains rushing through several times at night.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable and recently renovated
Cons: Noisy at night , the view was a building site
Pros: The hotel was very good. It's within a 100 metres of the railway station.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike at all
7.5 Good (371 reviews)
With a stay at The Originals City, Le Cottage Hôtel, Bruay-la-Buissière (Inter-Hotel) in Bruay-la-Buissiere, you'll be 15.7 mi (25.3 km) from Louvre-Lens and 27.4 mi (44.1 km) from Citadel of Lille. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Quiet place
Cons: Double charge on the room And still the problem unsolved
Pros: I had a lovely meal in the restaurant area in the evening, it wasn't crowded and I had the full attention of the waiter (who was also the reception guy), nonetheless, it was a very tasty, flavourful meal well presented. Staff were pleasant, helpful and professional.
Cons: Rather expensive for what it was. A basic room.
Cons: No tea and coffee facilities in room which we found most unusual. Room layout unusual toilet almost in the room not much privacy. Dining room lacked atmosphere we found it quite chilly when having our evening meal a nice fire and abit of background music would have made it so much nicer. Food was very nice and good value for money. General decor of this hotel was lovely.
Pros: Left to ones own devices to be let into the property by being left the key to access the hotel as it was their afternoon/evening off. The room was poorly decorated with a shabby chair to sit. The shower/loo was poorly decorated as was the bedroom Not good value for money
Cons: To be welcomed! Better upgrading of room and bathroom
Pros: A pretty cheap place to stay. Bed comfortable enough. Shower ok but pipe leaking and drain partially blocked so tray filled with water. Hotel located out of town centre Pleasant and efficient check in and out but staff not especially friendly. Evening meal was ok. Breakfast coffee good, so were the bread and pastries. WiFi was good .
Cons: Room very small and dingy. TV very small. The room was In need of refurbishment. Chair worn and tatty. It was called a Superior room but this seems an odd description as it appears there are no lower categories of room in this hotel and ours was certainly not in any sense superior to anything I can think of.
Pros: A very simple, very basic, no-thrills but a very clean and well presented hotel. It was a cosy room with a table, armchair and a tidy bathroom with towels and toiletries provided. I was there from 9pm to 6am so I missed breakfast but I was told about it at reception if I would like it.
Pros: Very quaint place to stay and the staff were very friendly
Cons: Restaurant shut on Friday and Saturday and Sunday and not a lot of choice of places to eat. Would have thought the restaurant could have been open on a Friday and Saturday.
Pros: Good location just off the A26. Ease of parking. Nice little town with shops for essentials. Short drive to supermarkets and fast food restaurants
Cons: Had to book two separate rooms for a family of 4 which pushed the price up a bit

Pros: Good parking. Easy access.
Pros: Clean! Fresh sheets and stuff. Possible for breakfast and free parking. Its really good as for this price
Cons: Maybe shower could be better
Cons: Rooms and breakfast were basic, bit tired around the edges. Bathroom tiny, could just squeeze one person in. Décor rather grubby. Felt like could all do with a facelift.
Pros: The parking was good & the staff were helpful. The manager even helped us to order a pizza for delivery
Cons: The bathroom was very basic. The shower wasn't very powerful & it was so small the shower curtain would stick to your body. There were no restaurants in the nearby vicinity. It was also badly signposted so we had trouble finding it
Pros: The price was okay and we could check in very late. Breakfast was cheap and you could eat as much as you liked.
Cons: Shower too squashed. Bathroom door did not shut. Location was on an industrial estate.
Pros: It was very cheap (40€ per 3 people) and good location
Cons: Lack of air condition
Pros: Comfy beds. Very reasonable price
Cons: Shared areas of hotel were a bit grotty. After hours registration using machine was very time consuming, having to complete whole process for each room separately.
Pros: Friendly atmosphere of the staff
Cons: The shower/toilet cubical being disabled I found the step in quite high and the floor prone to flooding

Pros: Good location and very cheap
Cons: It was great for the money
