Upon arrival at 2 pm I was charged $40 more due to early pick up, without being asked if I were to bring it back early also. After noticing the up charge it was brought back to the original charge. It feels wrong to just add $40 without telling or asking.Reviewed 8 Oct 2024

Pick up in CLT was easy. Drop off at AVL consisted of an employee saying "park it in E17 and drop your keys in the drop box. Budget will send you a receipt." I have not received a receipt of any info from Budget since I left Charlotte. I am concerned.Reviewed 7 Oct 2024

The pick up was the worst I’ve ever experienced. It was late in the evening, after 10 pm. There was only one person working at the counter!!!! There was a huge line. We waited for an hour and a half!!! No other workers came out!!! I will say the one person working was extremely calm and courteous when we were finally checked in. Shame on budget for putting all of this pressure on one employee. The car was nice and clean, but we will not be renting from Budget again. We specifically rented on site at the airport because our flight was getting in around 9 pm. Very disappointing to have to wait this long, especially at this time of night with our tired family.Reviewed 7 Oct 2024
