Waited over an hour and a half to pick up my car. The office was not well air conditioned. Was standing in line the whole time. Quite tiring after a long fight. Also the bus shuttle from the airport took a long time to arrive. (Four Alamo buses had passed during my wait.)Reviewed 19 Aug. 2023

Pick-up of the car rental at Budget's Dulles Airport location was horrible. I arrived with about six customers in front of me and 3-4 agents behind the counter. It took over an hour standing in line to pick up my car at Washington Dulles after waiting an hour and a half to pick up my Priority labeled bags at United after a delayed flight from London. It took maybe 2 minutes to process my reservation while I waited forever for people who had no reservation to figure out what they wanted to rent and how to get it done. The agent told me that there were many plane cancellations and most people in line were trying to book a car. Up wondering why they couldn’t have had a line for previously booked reservations? I had booked thus reservation months earlier like a responsible human. This was last time I’ll be booking on Budget/Avis.Reviewed 29 Jun. 2023

Waiting time in the queue is too long and there is ZERO intention from AVIS/Budget staff to expedite it quickly, I spend 1 hour and there were just around 5 customers in front of me. It seems the incomplete counters staff enjoy seeing the suffering of the people on the waiting queue. PD: when I left the queue grow up to about 20 people and about to fill the small building area.
